I don't know, but I own a Bach Strad and believe me, he's great. (His name is Chris) If you want a REALLY good site for mouthpeices, go to www.monette.net It's great. They even make them custom for you. But they cost about 200$.
BUT they are amazing for people with braces. I play on a B6 and it is just...Amazing. Does wonders for my lips with braces.

That's good to know. I might have to get braces and 200 dollars is a small price to pay if it'll help keep my playing stable. @ BlankBob : Yeah, everyone's telling me to go for the Xeno. But now I'm not even sure if I can get a new trumpet because my parents want me to use my money to get a car. I'm torn between what I should do. stressed I've never heard of Oxfords, sorry, Starry_twilight.

Hey everybody, I'm new to Gaia and I'm a trumpet player. I have been using the same standard Bach for 8 years and I wish I had the money to get a better one though I have managed to keep in in really good shape considering how long I've had it. I'm a Marching/concert as well as jazz (my true musical pasion) as I'm sure most of you are. I look forward to talking to all the other trumpet players around here because yes, we are the best instrument in the world ^_^

I was first in 6th and 7th, and I was 3rd in 8th. Then I was 5th in 9th. Then I was first in 10th. Then I was 5th in 11th. Lets just wait and see what happens this year.

I was 3rd in 8th (pretty good, i think, considering it was my first year playing trumpet and there were maybe 13 other people in our section), 3rd in 9th, and 1st and 4th in 10th (i made first chair for chair placements, but then gave my chair up to a senior because i thought he'd make a better section leader, seriously the worst choice of my entire musical career.) my 11th grade year i'm pretty sure i'll be second chair.
