Ryan tried to heal Peyton. Unfortunately, as soon as the red dome of light began to appear, it fizzled out and disappeared entirely.
He was so done with this place.

Evan huffed a laugh as the others responded not as the frightened little girls one might expect anyone else to be in this kind of situation, but with the spark and sass of hunters, of Suns. They may have retreated for now, but only from the battle. Evan was kind of proud of them. "We'll definitely have to try something different for our next night out," he said.

It was his first attack against any sort of boss, he was not expecting to actually hit anything but he did. The crossed blades sunk into one of the legs of the giant spider like creature. What he didn't expect was the wave of insects in return, he was more worried actually hitting the thing that he didn't think about the recoil. They crawled under his shirt, stinging him all over as they couldn't escape. Syntax crackled with life as the Moon aimed his barrel at one of the many skeletal waiters that still insisted on trying to take their order.

She might not be screaming anymore, but the fact that she wasn't knee deep in spiders and punching s**t spoke volumes to how much she did not like the situation she had found herself in.

Leon was really starting to miss his previously non tainted drink. But with the amount of ice cubes that the mist lead was making, he wasn't going to be too upset over it.
"Lets cut some ice for a new drink Nid." he offered to the dragon cockily.

"Temporary or not, I'm going to kill a certain Sun lead," Gale muttered, rubbing at his useless eyes behind the glasses. He reached out in the blackness and grasped for Stormy's arm, feeling her tap his shoulder gently before she moved, off to attack again.
"And yes, I do think so," he added - and then said "Burgers sound good right about now - or the potato and leek soup I only took three bites of before all of this happened. "
His vision was slowly becoming less dense and black - there were a few shifting colors of grey filtering in, and then a few more drops of color.

Though it was mostly thanks to Aria, Ryan felt his attacks hit home and in spite of how exhausted and sore he felt from the poison, he grinned. Or at least until more spiders crawled onto him and he was flailing to get rid of them again.

"Burgers, huh?" Normally she would have agreed, but a wave of nausea suddenly curled in her stomach and Stormy found herself listing to the side with a soft groan. lifting a leg, she noticed belatedly that a lot of her bare skin was covered in bug bites, and it seemed as if their poison was finally starting to kick in past the Fear shield.
Not again . . .
Stormy heard the woman from before shouting encouragement, but rather than take heart, she stabbed her weapon into the ground and leaned against it for a moment, taking deep breaths. "I don't think I'll be giving much better help from here on out," she told Gale with a weak smile. "But I'll give it my best shot."
