Azura Cantarella Well, just going by his bio on the Aselia wiki he seems pretty alright to me. But then again, I haven't played Xillia, so I don't fully grasp the extent of his power. Would you mind elaborating, just for the record? I am just curious. surprised Well, to be honest, I wouldn't know how to explain the extent of his power. I know he has a technique that takes a bit to charge and it's a pretty cool attack. I don't know what it's called, but that in itself seems just slightly godmoddy; though, I doubt he'd use it unless he absolutely had to. It's sort of like a mini-mystic arte in my opinion. That's the best I can explain it. I'd have to find YouTube videos of the group fighting him to show you so that you can grasp his power. Really, the only thing I ever really noticed about him was his intense willpower and the ability to be able to do what has to be done no matter what. sweatdrop

I think what Red is referring to is the attack he used in the animation after you fight him at Fezebel Marsh. But, I think that is Incenaration Wave. It just looks stronger than it should because Gaius is a strong guy, I think. That, and he charges it up before attacking. I wouldn't say Gaius is particularly "godmoddy". He's just strong-willed, and that will is what powers his "inhuman" strength. If he were to lose the will to guide and protect the weak, he'd wither and be like anyone else. Plus, his fun facts say that he talks like a Katz when he's drunk. mrgreen Any guy who resorts to that adorableness is definitely not a godmoddy character.

Even if Incineration Wave is pretty strong, it still does have that catch of having to be charged. And even then, it looks to me like it's a step below, say, high-tier spells like Meteor Storm.

Azura Cantarella Nope, since he's a Tales canon character. Yes! I'll use a full picture, but the format won't be anything fancy. Also, for the sake of keeping him just under the godmoddy type, I don't think I'll have him use Muzet in battle. She is still with him, though, so she'll probably make a few comedy appearances just for the sake of his character. If that's alright, of course.

Azura Cantarella What are the benefits of having Muzet around and what does she do? Is she like a summon? If she helps him pull off a real powerful attack, she could kind of function as his "Mystic Arte".
But otherwise, yeah, she can stick around as a Cameo character. 3nodding It's sort of like a summon, but it's not. As long as he keeps direct-tethering with her, he can summon Muzet whenever he wants. Her powers include cutting through space-time, but knowing Gaius, he won't abandon Aselia when it's in danger. Not when there are weak people who need help. I also think he doesn't like using her full power because she's weak and doesn't know what to do with it, so using her full power isn't in his best interest. He won't use her in battles, and if she appears, it'll most likely be of her own choice. I happen to like his original mystic arte, so no Muzet in battle.

Youkai Saint I (think) I finished Hata no Kokoro's profile!!!!!!!! I posted it in my roleplay resources, so it's ready to be looked at, I think 8888D
I just have a question about how she "makes others feel an emotion when they are near her". If someone is pretty strong-willed, could they resist this effect? I mean, I'd have my own characters play along with it because it looks like fun to me, but others might go "aw man I don't wanna do that..." and just have their characters gloss over it.
