Rachel started to gently pet the fox pokemon. "My you have a full healthy coat don't you? You really are one of the best groomed Vulpix I have seen in a while." she cooed as she started to lightly rub Apolla's ears. She glanced at the others then looked back at the fire fox. "I haven't really planed out my team either other then I hope to get an Eevee and a vulpix. I hope any vulpix I find will be a pretty as you are." she said, the last bit aimed at Apolla.

Alexa finished her dishes and looked at Danny thinking. "Kind of. If I remember correctly contests here are basically showing off four moves and then in the next round you are paired up with someone for a double battle. How your moves look in the battle count, I think, not just winning it." She explained before yawning, "I'd have to say several months before I felt comfortable enough to enter a contest."

Apolla was enjoying the attention. She was nearly purring in delight from the petting Lumina and Rachel were doing. She moved her tails once again preening at Rachel. This lady knew how to dish out the compliments. She looked back at her own trainer and glared. "Vuuuulllll pix vul vul vulpix." See that's how a compliment is suppose to go. Hearing the last thing Rachel said made her flick her tails and wrinkle her nose. Surely there was no other vulpix as pretty as she.

Yawning once again Alexa picked up her clean dishes. "I gotta go hit the sack. I'm about ready to fall asleep. I'm sure I'll see you all tomorrow." She waved goodbye, made sure that Apolla was following her and made her way back to where she was camped. She quickly dried the dishes, put them away, and grabbed her sleeping bag. She laid it out next to Vincent and fell asleep with Apolla curled up next to her.

((Night you guys! I need to get some sleep if I'm to be up before noon.))

"Well, Rachel, Danny, I hope both of you can find a team you love."

She waved off his concern with the flip of hand, "Nah, I think I'll be fine." Lumina probably came off sounding more naive than before, "I've done alright so far, anyways. As a watcher I tend to approach things with caution and keep a food distance to begin with. I just need a pokemon to help me if something finds me first." She grinned.

"Boy, contests do sound a bit complex." Lumina said, arching a brow, "Watching every move you make."

She nodded to Alexa, "Sleep well then, perhaps we'll meet again on the road." Turning to the remaining two, Lumina added, "Guess it is getting kind of late. I should probably head back with this wood before the fire goes out."

"Alright, good night Alexa." He hoisted his stick bundle onto his shoulder. "That sounds like a good idea," he said to Lumina. He waited a bit to see if Rachel was coming back as well. Ponyta stopped her grazing and found a place to lie down among some of the other pokémon from Bill's Ranch; ones she'd gotten to know in her time there.

Kary watched curiously as the Meowth behind her back seemed to relax, and his eyes even droop a bit. The Pokemon found himself oddly calm, even yawning (Kary thought this was the epitome of adorable).

"C'mere, you," Kary said as she tentatively lifted the Meowth and set him on her lap. "Feeling better now?" It was true, he did feel better, but the Meowth was still not quite sure what the situation was.

"Mr-rowth?" The scratch cat Pokemon looked to the Delcatty. <What's going on?> He'd seen a few humans before, but never interacted with any. What did this all mean?

The trainer decided that so long as her new Pokemon wasn't freaking out or trying to get away, it would be okay to leave him on her lap for the time being. "Hello, I'm Kary." she said to the new person, smiling, then waved goodbye to Milo as she left.

"That would be nice." He grinned. "I'm in the Lavender group, what about you two?" The haze of the trip made it so he couldn't really remember anyone from the road though he did remember meeting someone with a violin before they all had set out.

"I'm in the same group as you Danny." Rachel grinned back. "Looks like we'll be group-mates for a while." she laughed then started the walk back to camp. "If you don't have a spot to camp there is a spot near my tent." she told Danny.

"Good night Lumina!" she waved to the other girl then waved to the boy. "Good night Danny."

Rachel quickly put the dishes away, smothered the fire then with a pat on the head, returned Rei to her pokeball to rest. She stretched her arms towards the sky before crawling into her little tent and into her sleeping bag. "Tomorrow is a brand new day." she whispered with a smile before turning out her little lamp and falling asleep.
