Having the female hold an everstone gives you a 50% chance of inheriting the females nature in the egg, I believe.

If you're breeding for a specific nature, look for a ditto, most breeders have a ditto for every nature.
The trick to getting the nature you want though, is to set the everstone held item on the ditto. That gives the egg a 50% chance to carry on the nature of the ditto holding the everstone.
Jerzee: I was referring to Hoshi and his vote to impeach...last I heard, that was up to congress or something like that.

So lets say you place an everstone on a female pokemon adamant nature, and also an everstone on the ditto adamant nature.
Would that increase the percentage to surpass 50?

Some natures increase a specific stat more than the others, but may also reduce 1 or more stats while doing so. If your looking for a pokemon with high attack and plan to EV train it, to get best results you should find the nature that increases attack overall. 3nodding

Stuff such as "Likes to thrash about" actually are related to IVs. As far as natures go... become enlightened biggrin

two everstones won't increase the chances anymore. Not that I've noticed anyway...besides, I find it more useful to place one of the power items on the male, that way you can transfer his IV's for a particular stat to the egg.

Breeding only looks complicated...
it's actually pretty simple. The male helps determine the moves, the female determines the species of pokemon. But that's just the absolute basics.
From there, you go into egg groups, cross breeding, IV transfer, Nature inheritance, etc...
As for the power items, all of them can be found at the battle frontier.
