Kari stepped forward, finally getting her turn. She clenched her fists tightly as she tried her best to control herself from going on another killing spree with all the insignificant shinobis in the room. Trying her hardest to behave in front of her cousin, she stood ready for her exam. She had seen Ensu perform the jutsus slowly, so she figured it woudln't be too hard to get them perfect.

"Alright Kari, why is it that you wish to become a shinobi of the mist village?" As Luo finished posing the question, he looked up from his paper to see the response Kari would give. He could tell already that the girl was tense, the creases in her face being a testament to just how angry she was, although he could see her anger slowly diminishing as she attempted to restrain herself.

Wasn't obvious why she wanted to become a shinobi fo the Mist Village? It was to kill those who dare want to harm them...at least that's the good answer. She just wanted an excuse to kill, an excuse to see blood, an excuse to cause as much pain and destruction as she humanly could. To inflict the same pain that was inflicted upon her. Kairi didn't know how she could explain this to him...it would be difficult but that was when she spotted a fly on the wall. Removing a single senbon, Kairi launched it, the fly flying slightly to the right as the senbon pierced through it. She had predicted the trajectory of the fly and adjusted her throw.

Walking over to the senbon and removing it from the wall, Kari showed it to Luo. It was a symbol. She wanted to become a shinobi in order to kill the enemies of Kiri. In order to seek out their blood. In turn, killing Kiri's enemies would keep it safe, but she didn't particularly cared for its safety, as long as she could continue killing.

Watching the girl ponder for a moment, Luo questioned what she was really thinking. Oh what an interesting thing it would be to read minds. As she threw the senbon and brought the fly who's right wing twitched ever so often, the girl's deep blue eyes merely stared back at Luo. He understood, and understood well. But something bothered him about the symbolism behind this, and it was then that Luo began to speak. "Killing, bloodshed, these are senseless acts. As a shinobi, these are things we are to avoid at all costs. Interrogation, investigation, reconnaissance, surveillance. These are things we as shinobi are to excel at first and foremost. If your initial reaction to the enemy of Kiri is any similar to your reaction to the fly, then the intelligence bestowed upon your head at birth is truly lost. For you see, whose to say at all that the fly existed to perturb you or I? Whose to say that his intentions in this room had anything to do with us at all? It has died, and with it all knowledge the fly may have held. Oh to be a fly on the wall, and merely observe. A life of first study, and then action. That, is the life of a shinobi." Sitting back in order to straighten his posture, Luo looked back at the girl, waiting for a response. Both a lesson, and a chewing out. If she were to become one of his shinobi, Luo had to know that not only did he have her trust, but the people of Kiri as well. He was not called the Pride of the Mist for no reason, and if the people could not trust one of their own with their lives, whose to say Luo could do the same?

Kari's eyes widened at his explanation, and she turned away from him, thinking about his words. To watch first and learn...then strike...so basically in order to be a shinobi, self control was needed. A life of study, a life of self control and not act brash. She was going to need to learn how to control her bloodlust, especially around those that wore the Mist Headband. She didn't particularly like the idea of bending over for the people that shunned her, that inflicted so much pain on her, yet if it was for her cousin, the only man she had ever trusted then she would do it. Turning back to Luo, she quickly got down to one knee, humbling herself to his teachings and acknoledging them. It was something that would take a lot of time, but she will try.

Fordon emerged from the shadows behind the Lord Mizukage slightly bowed. His hunter ninja mask was still on. Its own stitches were visible to everyone in the room but Fordons body still seemed to rest in the shadows as it was covered in his mottled black cloak. He removed in and moved to the side of his Lord and the man he thought of as a brother. Moving the mask from off his face to the top of his head he bowed low to his lord then stood up straight. His stitches and scares riddled his body. he look similar to a cheap doll sewed together from bits of rags. Yet passed the stitched his form was ripped solid muscle, well train in the ninja arts. "I have returned Lord Luo-sama"

Watching Kari carefully, he saw the creases in her face settle at last as she knelt down in front of him. It wasn't a hard concept for the girl to grasp, and he knew she was more than capable of anything he asked. So with the acknowledgement of her humbling herself, he began the test. That is, until the presence was felt. He felt the boy before he even spoke for the masked figure spent more time at Luo's side than anyone else. As a smirk appeared Luo muttered, "Welcome home, Fordon. It has been some time." Looking up towards Kari Luo nodded. "Alright Kari, run through the basic water jutsu, and show a proficiency with hand-to-hand. You've seen the test administered so let's see how well you perform."

"I apologize my lord for taking so long. It was a little trouble but im sure you will be pleased with my results." He said with a faint smile. pulling up a chair he sat down to the side and slightly behind his lord. he didnt want to interrupt the exam going on to find what he was to do next. Fordon adjusted his sleeveless shirt and waited patiently.

Kari rose up, ignoring yet another shinobi enter the room. Without worrying about it, Kari now looked at the replenished glass of water sitting in front of her. This was it...she was going to have to perform these moves without ever performing them...ever. But she knew she could do it...it wasn't overconfidence, it was pride of being an Ushio. It was the pride in knowing that her blood was more precious than any other of the pathetic shinobis that didn't know any better. Taking a step forward, Kari outstretched her hand, palm wide open.

The first thing was Water Manipulation. To be able to control the water in front of her and bend it to her will. Closing her eyes, Kari began to gather her chakra inside of her, feelign it swell at her core. As she finished, Kari opened her eyes, the chakra stretching out to her hand and flowing out of her. Her eyes became focused, almost showing an evil glint. As the chakra began flowing out of her, the water inside began to rise upwards. It hovered above the glass, a formless blob as it began traveling towards her. As she controled the water, she began to freeze the water by dropping the temperature of it. Half of the blob began to freeze over, frost covering it as she split the water, not wanting to use all of it.

With the first part of the manipulation finished, the cube of frozen water fell to the floor as there was still a blob of it hovering still. Steam began to rise from the blob as the temperature began to rise, the water boiling severly and after several seconds, there was no more. The water had turned into steam. She had done it...she had mastered water manipulation under the pressure of this test. As her eyes began to lighten, Kari waved her hand, using the water manipulation yet again in order to draw yet another blob from the moisture in the air.

Kari began to sift through seals, the same seals she had seen performed before her own test. Performing them flawlessly, the chakra she had molded began to seep out of her as the blob of water turned into a thin sheet of water. The thin sheet now hovered in front of Luo, turning into a mirror for him to look at. Knowing she had performed it, she knew that when Luo looked at it, he would see whatever it was that was behind him. It was sleek and reflective, like a hovering mirror. Knowing this technique would be useful when fighting multiple opponents, Kari proceeded to perform the next technique.

This next jutsu, she had performed before. It was the only water jutsu she had known, having learned it under pressure when she tried to fight Chihiro. As she performed the seals, the mirror began wavering into a blob once more. As she finished them, her chakra began flowing out of her and over the blob of water, the water began elongating and stretching out into the ground. Before she knew it, the water had now taken the shape of a human. She still had a little bit more to go. The water's surface began to transform, showing fair skin and long red hair. As the clone finally took form, Kari was standing alongside, another Kari. Finishing the jutsu portion of the exam, she was rather pleased with herself and standing up straight, Kari snapped her fingers. The clone began melting away into a blob of water and using water manipulation once more, prevented the water from causing a puddle on the ground. The water hovered atop of the glass and cascaded downwards. Now Luo's glass was full once again.

Writing as the young girl's exam continued, Luo's eyes hovered for a moment over her file. He had noticed before the exam even began that the girl had only learned one jutsu throughout her time in the academy. However, here she stood performing them with precision. If she were not of the same blood, the feat would have surprised Luo more than it did; and still it was a bit shocking. However, she was an Ushio and with that name came an aptitude that took learning and comprehension to a whole new level. Looking up at her as she stood ready for his approval, Luo muttered his final response to her test. "Your formation of seals as well as molding of chakra is impeccable. Although you didn't read the words on the board, it's quite obvious why and was ingenious to substitute that small handicap by simply allowing me to check the mirror for myself. You didn't show any hand-to-hand, however that is fine with me as I've seen you train personally. Overall, a perfect exam." Tossing a headband from the row of them placed in front of him to his cousin, Luo nodded. "Congratulations Kari Ushio, Silent Reaper of the Mist: You have passed your genin exam."

Fordon listened to the title that was given to the girl and thought to himself 'Oh boy another one for the hunter ninja? Yet another who wished for blood. They would be dangerous if not controlled but if they could be harnessed... It was these type of ninja who destroyed villages and become feared the world over. A squad of blood hunters? now that would make the mist truly feared. Still the issue remained. How do I control that ninja? Fear? Yes but it needed to be different from most normal fears. It would have to be fear of immediate death. ah thats it' Fordon thought as the idea came to him. ' It needs some experimenting to get it right but I'm sure its possible.' Fordon smiled to the girl as if in congratulations while on the inside cheered for having solved the loyalty problem.

Kari caught the headband and clutched onto it tightly. Gazing upon her reflection against the stainless steel, her bloodlust began surging upwards. She was excited, she had just become a full fledged ninja and because of this, her lust for blood reached a boiling point. As she felt it rush upwards, Kari took out the vial of the Mizukage's own blood and gazed upon it. The sweet sight of crimson seemed to calm her down as she tied the headband against her forehead. Bowing slightly to the Mizukage, she turned, ignoring Fordon and walked off. The reason why she ignored Fordon was because if she would have gazed into his eyes, she could have lost control of herself, in front of the Mizukage no doubt. She had to at least try to not kill anyone from the village...but it doesn't help when they are so obnoxious in front of her.

Walking up the steps the young genin was moving very silently and was walking in the shadows. One would have a hard time knowing he was coming because of how stealthy he was all the time. He pushed the door open as quietly as he could so he could sneak along the side he pulled the scroll out and set it near Lou as he approached his desk. " I'm sorry sir i forgot to return this earlier thank you for letting me borrow it for my training." The scroll had the hunter Corps insignia on it. Ensu bowed and looked up a bit as he noticed someone one else he didn't notice right away the man seemed to hold some authority if Lou was allowing him to watch the exams.

Fordon watched the boy approach. His attempt to be stealthy was sad but it was obvious that he had not had any real training in the matter. Fordon had to then give him credit for trying. Seeing the mark of the hunter ninja on the scroll Fordon was not surprised. So this was another acolyte in his order. another student who he would pour his knowledge. Fordon knew that right now the chuunin exams was going on which is where his lead student was. Seeing the boys eyes glance at him Fordon guessed this boy was more then a little confused as to why he was there. Standing the Fordon gazed at the boy. "Do you know who i am?" Fordon asked

Ensu shook his head as he spoke." I'm sorry sir no i have no idea who you are." He said as he bowed in respect as he had a feeling he might have insulted the man." I'm Ensu Tenmei i live and work at the Bonties of the world. I don't know very many higher up ninja i only just became a genin today." He said as he felt awkward talking to this man he asked if he knew him and Ensu didn't it wasn't a typical conversation. " May i ask who you are sir?" He said being polite and confident in asking even if he didn't get a good response. Ensu was good enough at stealth that most ninjas around his rank and a few of chuunin rank couldn't see or hear him very well when he was in the shadows moving stealthily. He took pride in it and wasn't sure how well he had done in front of the higher up ninjas.
