(( -Kyto(K-EYE-TOE): Making eye contact with Kyto eyes makes the person‘s body feel ten times as heavy as it really is. After activation, the Kyto eyes will last only five minutes. The effect of Kyto eyes also last five minutes. Kiro can only use Kyto eyes once every day. Example: After three minutes of activation, Kyto eyes finally make contact with the enemy. The enemy feels the effect but it will only last five minutes. The Kyto eyes themselves will deactivate within two minutes.))

Mathias quirked a brow at the sudden change in Kyro's eyes, but decided not to delay his attack while his friend spoke. He began to advance forward and gasped when he found that moving his leg forward took all of his strength. Sweat popped out on his brow and he gritted his teeth. His arms shook with sudden tension and slowly lowered, unable to hold his weapons up...no, not his weapons, his arms themselves. His whole body felt as if he'd gained twice his own weight, maybe more. He tried to take another step, doggedly refusing to quit before slowly sinking down to his knees. His wooden sword and shield clattered to the ground of the practice yard as he knelt there gasping and sweating," Next time...huff huff...no magic...huff...tricks allowed...huff huff."

(( Oh, I'm sorry! I forgot you didn't know his abilities yet. )) "This is no magic trick." Kiro responded as he came in closer. Kiro got down on a knee and leaned in to Mathias, his eyes now become a bright blueish color with a teal ring around the pupil and again shapes began to shift and take form within the color of his eyes. Kiro glared into Mathias' eyes once again. (( -Lydon(L-EYE-DUHN): Making eye contact with Lydon eyes will nullify or cure any and all eye technique effects instantly. After activation, the Lydon eyes will last ten minutes. Kiro can only use Lydon eyes twice each day. )) "Is that better?" Kiro asked, much friendlier sounding now.

Mathias looked into Kyro's eyes as they changed again and felt the crushing weight of his body return to normal. He heaved out a breath and caught his arms on the ground, holding himself up on all fours as he panted and sweated, feeling as though he had just dropped a particularly heavy load," Magic or not...it was a nice trick. I'll remember not to look into your eyes next time," he looked up with a grin.
After a moment, Mathias pushed himself to his feet and retrieved the practice weaponry,"I'll just put these back. Should we go look for William?"

Kiro's eyes morphed back into his regular blue eyes. "Well, at least you know what your partner is capable of now. I had to make sure you understood what you were getting into." Kiro replied to Mathias' comments.
"Finding what William is up to could be a good plan, but are you feeling okay?" Kiro asked.

Mathias stood a moment and rolled his neck and shoulders, working out the kinks that had formed under Kiro's influence,"Yeah, I'm alright. Nothing to worry about." He grinned again and gave Kiro a wink before trotting off to replace the practice weapons, then waved for Kiro to follow him,"C'mon! Let's go find William!"

"Right." Kiro replied and followed after Mathias. As they walked Kiro remembered something. "Oh yeah, Mathias. Don't do anything to offend William or ask him to spar. Something happened to him in our last mission and I don't know how they will affect him and his abilities. I know he is our comrade, but something about him changed." Kiro warned.

Mathias frowned as he listened to Kiro's words while walking beside him,"Hmm... alright. I wasn't really planning on asking to spar with him so soon after our match anyway..." He chewed his lip in thought as he and Kiro went on in search of their comrade.

((Sorry for the delay, guys. As I'm sure you both know my computer was broked...))
Kiro and Mathias wandered the grounds of the Corps. searching for William for only a short while. Kiro had a hunch as to where he may have gone, and soon they were following the sound of clashing blades. When they came upon the source of the noise they found William and Sean sparring with bared steel.
William was bleeding from a dozen cuts and gashes, many of them on his left arm. He was sweating and breathing hard and perhaps even a little unsteady on his feet. Sean on the other hand bore not a scratch and he appeared calm and collected. The two made quite a contradiction. William in black with both hands grasping the hilt of his long nodachi, panting and bleeding. Sean in his flower print shirt and shorts, with one hand holding his straight bladed dueling sword and the other in his pocket, calmly watching as William approached him for another bout.
William came at Sean with a side slash. Sean caught Williams blade with his own, spun both blades around and around and then threw Williams out wide. Sean stepped in and smacked William across each cheek with the flat of his blade. William took both insults without ever removing his eyes from Sean. The young Hunter regained control of his blade while his senior was slapping him and moved the weapon into a return attack. Sean again intercepted the attack, simply smashing the opposing blade away. The elder Hunter stepped in, caught William by the wrist of his sword arm, holding the blade out wide, and then kicked his young friend in the chest.
William went down on his rear while Sean stepped forward and planted his foot atop him, placing his blade beside Williams throat.
"Well, what did you learn?" Sean asked.
"That there's a good reason why you're called a blademaster." William responded.
Sean removed his foot and his blade, sheathing the latter, and offered William a hand up, which he took. "You're putting too much power into your swings, which is a common problem for people first getting into real two handed forms. Keep your left hand down on the hilt of your blade and your right hand higher. That way you can use them both together and apart. Together for strength for the grunt work, and you use them apart to pivot the blade for the finer stuff."
William nodded, taking it all in. He sheathed his blade as Sean was explaining, and suddenly noticed Kiro and Mathias.
"Hey, guys, sorry I missed your match. Master Sean was helping me with some of the finer aspects of swordsmanship." William said.

Mathias watched with complete, undisguised interest as William was thoroughly beaten by Sean the blademaster. His eyes nearly sparkled with eagerness as he watched the way the blades spun and interlocked, totally enamored by the fluid movements.
"Wow," he said aside to Kiro as they watched," That guy reminds me of the guard captain that gave me lessons before I came here. He isn't even breathing hard."
Mathias smiled when the practice duel was over and William called to them,"That's okay William. It wasn't much of a match. I got just as schooled as you did, but at least I didn't get cut up!"

"He's pretty good, but its difficult to fight someone when your sword style is so different. Mine is made for more assassination type, William's and Sean's more frontal." Kiro mentioned.
Kiro approached William. "You ready to get some work done?" Kiro asked him as they became within speaking distance. Upon hearing Mathias' comment about William's cuts, Kiro turned his head with an odd smile at Mathias. "I can arrange there to be some cuts if you like." Kiro joked.

"Regardless of what style they use, there are relatively few true blademasters out there. Sean is one of them." William said, then turned back to Master Sean. "Thanks again, Sean. You know I appreciate it."
"I know, Will. And it's no problem. You should get those slashes checked out."
"I will." William turned back to Kiro and Mathias. "So, Kiro, what kind of work did you have in mind?" William asked as he gazed at his friend with his mismatched blue and gold eyes.

Mathias quirked a brow at Kiro's comment and grinned, feigning a punch at his shoulder in friendly camaradrie. He then lifted both brows when Kiro mentioned work, and leaned forward eagerly,"Yeah Kiro, what do you have in mind?"
