"Maid!" Sadayakko cried out to the maid who had just brought her the jasmine tea. "Come here, please." She wished to thank the maid, as well as learn her name, and perhaps speak with her a short while. She was feeling a bit lonely as she found her place in the new world of the maiko. Then Sadayakko saw Yokome and Iyasu-san hurry outside. Sadayakko called out to Yokome, knowing it was her first time dressed in full splendor, "You look stunning, Yokome!"

Luna turned and smiled, "I'm a Maiko" she smiled at the girl and placed the broom away, "well, as of today that is!" After meeting Yukiko Luna wasn't nearly as shy or self-concious as before. "My name is Lunarie, but you can call me Lulu." She frowned, "I'm nearly finished my chores. Is there anyway I can join you?" she wanted to talk to Yukiko later and tell her the good news but first Luna wanted to meet others she would be going to classes with. "May I ask your name?" She fixed her robes as she sat carefully. Both pale golden-brown eyes watched the girl with a calm peacefulness. her expression though nutral was soft. Luna was still fairly new to everyone for she was a naturally shy person trying her best to fit in and make friends with Yukiko's support backing her. Though on the outside she appeared calm Luna was nervouse about everything, was the tea alright? Did she miss anything? was she being rude with her questions? so many thoughts ran through the dark-haired girl's head that she had to supress and frown and hold her plain expression. Luna wasn't an overly pretty girl, though she hadn't completely finished filling out or growing yet so her appearance may change but she was slender and fit strands of her long black hair accenting her bright eyes, though now pulled back to leave her face visable.

Tanpopo had finished with her chores, finished her diary entry, and did not know what to do next. She become overcome by loneliness. She hoped that Sasami would return to their room soon. Popo enjoyed spending time with her and talking with her. She waited.

::Feeling restless in her duties Sasami decided to take a short break. She looked around and for some reason could not find a comfortable place in her surroundings. Sasami decided to go to her room where she knew she could always be comfortable. As she put down her items she thought to herself. :hmm I've yet to see Popo~Chan today: Making sure the items were out of the way Sasami quietly walked to her room. Once there she slid open the door and walked in to find Popo~Chan there apparently waiting for her. Sasami closed the door behind her and walked over to Tanpopo. Sasami kneeled on the floor infront of her friend and began to speak.:: Hello Popo~Chan I've not seen you all day.

"Sasami!" Popo exclaimed joyfully. She leaped forward as Sasami kneeled down and hugged her tightly. "I haven't seen you all day, either! How are you?!" Popo was probably too exicited, but she didn't care. She was glad to see a friendly, familliar face.

::Sasami fell back slighty as Tanpopo hugged her. Sasami hugged Popo~Chan back gentlyas she began to speak:: Oh I'm quite well. I've been busy with a few chores, however I have decided to take a bit of a break. ::Sasami smiled a bit:: How have you been? I understand you had your hands full earlier.

"Ah, not really." Tanpopo said as she sat back. Tanpopo looked down and asked of her friend, "Do you think we'll always be friends? What if one of us becomes a maiko first? What if we do not have the same Onee-san? I'd hate to lose you, too.." Tears fell from Popo's eyes. She did not attempt to wipe them away. Her hands just grasped her clothes tightly, slightly pulling upon them. She weeped for her parents and over the thought that Sasami would not always be with her or grow with her.

"Oh, that's lovely news, Lulu! I'm so pleased to hear we have another maiko. I'm sure you'll enjoy your classes. I love mine." Sadayakko said excitedly. She was glad for someone to talk to; she'd been a bit lonely.
Sadayakko sipped at her tea, green eyes smiling up at Lulu. Then she realized she hadn't introduced herself. "Ah! Forgive my rudeness, I have yet to introduce myself! I am Sadayakko."

Luna nodded and sipped her tea quietly before speaking, "I have chosen the classes I wanted to take and I'm hopeful that everything will work out, I'd like to be as beautiful as my mother." she didn't mention that her mother was dead but the shimmer in her eyes made it plain to see it pained the young girl to speak of her mother, though she was proud to be that daughter of a once well known Geisha and Kimono maker. "I am pleased to meet you Sadayakko, especially since I'm terribly shy." she fiddled slightly and put down her tea cup. Luna was always aware of her surroundings mainly her appearance, not in the way she tried to look perfect she just hated things to be untidey and messy, her robes were always clean and never torn since she fied them with her hidden thread and needle from under her bed.

Oh silly Popo~Chan ::Sasami said with a smile as she wiped away Tanpopo's tears.:: You truly think to much. We will always be friends..no more than that we will be sisters. No matter what. If we get parted by land, water, air or rank we will always remain sisters. ::Sasami placed her finger gently on Popo~Chan's nose:: Remember that for eternity. ::Sasami's thoughts ran rampant in her mind as she did not want to speak the words that might play into Tanpopo's fears. For now Sasami just smiled and decided to wait.::

Popo sniffled, "Promise?" She wiped away the tears as she looked at Sasami. Popo hugged Sasami with a few tears falling from her eyes. She felt time was creeping ever so close for the two to become maiko and feared the worst. She knew she could not bear it if they were not together as maiko, too.

::Sasami cleared her mind as she help Popo~Chan once again. Sasami then stood up and smiled at Tanpopo. Sasami elegantly walked over to her small 'box' there she opened it and took something out. Her back facing Tanpopo she began to speak.:: A promise is nothing more than words. Words that fade in time as the wind blows. A promise of the heart on the other hand is much tougher through time. With a promise of the heart comes a token of the heart. ::Sasami then turned around and faced Tanpopo.:: Don't you agree?

"You're shy?" Sadayakko questioned. It wasn't good for a maiko to be shy; not in a profession where one was valued based upon performance and conversation. "Hopefully you'll get used to this place soon and lose your shyness." She smiled.
"I... am sorry about your mother." The maiko murmured. She herself had been sold off as a child so her father could pay his gambling debts. However, he played no part and had no value in her life now. "I hope you find an older sister soon. That is my greatest wish now, for both of us." She smiled a bit sadly. Without an older sister, one could never become a geisha.

Luna looked up and smiled, "Slowly I am losing my fears of men and of others, thanks to a very nice Miako who may end up being my older sister in a little while." She paused and frowned. "My father was a soldier I was not sold here though I was given, he didn't want me to suffer or to be sold off as a worker, he wanted me to live my dream, yet sometimes I stare out into the dark sky and wonder if he's still alive, hoping one day when I'm a geisha I will entertain his group and meet him again and he'll be proud of me." She smiled her entire face lit up with the simple expression even her eyes seemed brighter. Moving gracefully she picked up her tea again and sipped it quietly. Luna had been lucky in a way thought she found it crule of her father to send her off with out telling her of anything, but now she understood mainly because of the letter she'd received the day she'd arrived from her father just before he was sent off ot be stationed elsewhere, he had explained his actions and had given her a small ammount of money to by her thread when ever she went out to run errands.

Popo looked at her and nodded. She was curious as to what Sasami had.
