Lady Pyre Wolffy000 Well, I do hate them since going through them takes so much time. I mean, it IS a lot shorter than going around, but it does still take time. I think it would be worse walking without seeing any trees. Having no greenery around is kinda depressing. We have mixed deciduous and coniferous forests around here, but there seems to be much more of the former. Makes it beautiful in fall, but dreary as hell in winter. I miss the old house, with the maples and oak in the front and the long line of pines at the border between the backyard and forest. There was a lone holly tree in the back, too. I do sort of like going through the desert, but thats probably because it's such a change of pace for me. At least, I enjoy it when I don't have to do it too long. And I do like the trees, I just wish I had more actual paths to go through. It's weird to get sidetracked by construction and then 5 minutes later try to walk down some weird animal path or something to try and get a loaf of bread and some flour. It is nice knowing that I can always have something to take shelter under when it rains though.

LOL. What the hell? It seems like any time I'm looking into buying something, these days, my dad calls up saying he got it for me for Christmas. I've needed a new computer for a while, so I guess it's not a big surprise that he'd buy me one, but I've never mentioned flash drives to him. And he doesn't even know what they are. I guess he truly will buy anything with a panda on it for me. Unfortunately, as he doesn't know what a flash drive is, the one he bought only holds 1GB.

You know, I don't mind that Gamestop forgot to put my disc in the case. That was a simple exchange, took less than a minute to resolve.
It's the ******** walk through the cold that bothers me. I wish digital distribution was more common.

Tacoma is in an odd part of the valley, so it snows only once every few years or so if you're lucky. So even if it is 15 degrees or colder, it won't snow. I like the cold better than the heat, but right now ALL of my clothes are destroyed in some fashion or another, so I don't really have cold weather clothes. That being said, I would really like it if it snowed.

gonk I hate the cold. I wish it were summer again! I love 100 degree heat! Waaaugh!
Sooo cold. I can't believe I ran in this weather one time. lol crying
Edit: It almost never snows here either but I live in a desert. It snowed last year though. <3

Ugh. The only winter coat I have at the moment is my leather trench, which I'm not supposed to drive in. Apparently it was splitting the seam where the cut is in the back. So, remembering how bloody freezing I was in my light fall jacket Monday, I borrowed one of my mom's coats and wore a hat and gloves. Brilliant.
It was not nearly as cold as Monday. But guess what? Torrential downpour! My fall coat has a nice big hood and the material wicks away water. Semi-puffy winter coat and knit panda hat? Not so much. I mean... I knew it was supposed to rain - that's why I took my goofy hat in the first place. But I didn't know it was going to be like walking through a waterfall. My jeans are totally drenched. Drying over the furnace in my bathroom, now.
