Kiyoko giggled at the fact Ray wasn't aware til now that she knew what he was thinking. He must had dated some real idiots. His hands were warm as they touched her cheek. He was being so nice, so caring......

But Kiyoko was still bothered by something from herself, something that was still nagging at her from the corner of her mind; she had yet to tell Ray why she REALLY moved. It wasn't a pretty story, and people said it wasn't her fault at all, but she had to say something. She could trust him. But how to start? She replied to his question, and found that answer through him.

"Agreed. When I came here today, I wasn't expecting to make friends so fast.

"Speaking of which, it occured to me earlier that I've been pretty.....secretive, I guess, as to why I came here in the first place. I mean, a village where everyone knows your name and where you have friends is certainly enough reasons to not move. To be honest, it wasn't a pretty story...." she hugged the doll to herself and looked towards the bed covers as she started.

"Well, things were really nice for as long as I lived there. I've learned and seen alot, and had alot of good times. I was also one of the smarter people in the town; something about a top 10% in the list, I don't remember what it meant. However, on freshman year, there were also alot of new faces and people I had yet to meet. Turns out they weren't all nice.

There were these three boys a year ahead of me; very tall, formed a gang, you could say. I think their nicknames were Slick, Rob, and Quickfoot (yes, Quickfoot does sound odd). As my grades still continued to soar, they took note of this and tried to get some help. But not the tutoring kind of help, the 'let-me-copy-your-homework' kind. Naturally, I refused that kind of help, and things started to slowly go downhill. They started speading rumors, making fun, taking lunch money, o-occasionally......throwing a few punches." she paused and shuddered, while wiping her eyes as if tired to avoid having the tears that were forming come down; those weren't good times, she didn't want to mention much on those, too many tears on those.

"As things were getting worse, I guess my friends noticed something was up after a month or two, and told a teacher for the sake of my health. She spoke to me after class, and after seeing a cut mark, agreed to help me end it if I stood up to them." She quieted momentarly as she gripped the blankets so tightly with her hands that they were white, and she went slightly pale.

"It went horribly bad. I don't remember much of it, except something with a crowbar, lots of men shouting, and blood. From what I'm told, they knocked me unconsious and gave me a black eye, and I was in a coma for two weeks. All I needed were stitches in the head, which while gone, I've got some temporary ones while it's finishing healing." she paused and moved some of her hair around, til a scar with stitches was noticable, and noded her head towards Ray for a moment before fixing her hair and continuing. "The three boys went to court, and with all the evidence, they were carted off to jail for assult on a minor and my family and I......actually became richer. Alot; they were star football players at hte school, with all the fathers as doctors and such. Not what I was expecting, but it did prevent us from going into debt with medical bills. That was all I wanted.

But while my friends and I were back to normal, things changed. Everyone else avoided me, stared me down, pretty much treated me like dirt to a point where my grades started slipping, ever so slightly, but still enough to show it wasn't just the class. This was especially after the football team lost for the first time in 14 years; THAT was bad. That's when my mom learned about that transfer program, and thought mabye a place that changed that much over something that wasn't my fault wasn't a place for anyone. We moved the following summer, and I had no choice but to say goodbye to my friends.

My mom needed a new job anyways; and she happened to find one here in town, and so we moved here. She knew I was down in the dumps, seriously depressed, so she tried so hard to make it fun. We got alot of takeout food from new places, helped with decorating my room (still gotta finish that), and my brother showed me around town. They were all in high spirits, and I felt better and joined in with them. This place is so much better....

Oh! I didnt think I'd go so in detail. I apologize...." she grew silent; while she wasn't expecting it, it was out of her chest now, and she smiled ever so slightly. She already felt better, like she could sleep for the next month. But she was scared of Ray's reaction: what would he say?
PostPosted: Sat Feb 16, 2008 8:32 pm

Celia stood up with him. She was relieved to see him take the bullets out of the gun. "I promise, I won't tell anyone..." she said softly. "I'm going to take a shower now, okay?" she asked softly. "Now don't do anything stupid..." she said teasingly and kissed his cheek gently. "It shouldn't take that long. All the girls should be done fighting for the showers now and just fighting over the mirrors and beds. So we'll meet up in the room?"

Ray was kind of suprised to have her start talking about this. Naturally he hadn't even questioned her much because he just thought that there wasn't much behind her moving. Ha, simple minded Ray. He had been hanging around too many simple minded people, it had rubbed off a little bit. Wow, had his thinking been wrong. He noticed her hand grow white from holding onto the blanket too tightly. His eyes looked upon her softly. His hand slowly smoothed over hers, taking it and weaving their finger's together.

The whole story was a shocker. Things seemed to be growing worse and worse as she went on, but he didn't interrupt her. He felt like he was learning a whole different life, a whole different person. But it made some sense to why she did certain things. It gave her a different appeal. She was like a child in some ways, only to be emphasised by the doll at this point. She had been hurt which made her seem more innocent since she was quieter because of it, she had to leave her friends which seemed to make her a little insecure and she was sometimes like a child afraid of the dark (not literally afraid of the dark.)

Ray's thumb rubbed the top of her hand gently until she was done speaking. "That's horrible..." he murmured, almost to himself. "I'm sorry that you were put through so much pain. I'm sorry I couldn't prevent it from happening here. But I promise you that I won't let it to happen again..."

He stood up, but didn't let go of her hand. He leaned down and kissed her lips gently.

Conall smiled sheepishly and kissed Celia on the cheek back.
-"Yeah..."
Conall then took off for not the where the showers were, but instead for the supply closet he had been in earlier. He maneuvered his way back to the back of the room, replaced the gun and placed the clip on the other side of the closet, hidden in a bucket. Conall then climbed back out of the closet and went to the showers. He passed by his locker and stared at it. He saw the damage and the rope, and imagined seeing not piles of white powder but instead piles of needles, like it was last year. At this thought, Conall clutched his arm again, and went to the showers. He took a shower, and to his disappointment found it cold. Figures, he must be the last person in the school to take a shower. Conall took his shower quickly and then got dressed in his ridiculous pajama bottoms ( purple with red stripes ) and refused to wear the shirt ( kittens? Where they even made for men? ). Having no other shirts, Conall tried to leave but was immediately seized by a teacher and was reprimanded for not wearing a shirt. When shown Conall's choices, though, the teacher relaxed a little and simply gave him a plain black shirt. Conall walked through the halls and for the first time since being incarcerated, felt himself shrink under the gaze of everyone in the hallways. Conall just went to the room and went inside quietly, and sat back in the corner. Conall then found his bag and rummaged through it, pulling out his work-in-progress, before chucking it into the garbage. One thing about Conall until now, he always made sure no one thought highly of him because he felt he didn't deserve it. But now Conall had an epiphany, thanks to today, and now was going to show himself in full. Less rage, more goofy, and more talented. Conall pulled out his latest finished whittled piece, a realistic wolf and put it back in the bag. He pulled out his whittling knife and a hunk of wood, and began whittling his new favorite: Celia.
(( Aaaaaww... he's gone all puppy-love on us... *vomit* At least he's grown up.... and long post... I'll be on and off for a while, just so you guys know... ))

[[Aww, it's so cute :] ]]

Celia was one of the last girls to take a shower too, so her shower was on the chilly side too. She was happy to wash the day away though. It had been a long, hard day. Even if the water was cold, it felt better than sitting in her stingy clothing and dirty hair.
Once she was done she had to change into the ridculous clothing like all the other girls. Her's was a pink, thick fabric nightgown. It went about an inch passed her knees. There was little brown bear faces all over it. "Seriously, where do they get this stuff?" she asked some of the girls as she brushed out her hair. There was little frilly lace along the bottom of the dress that she knew was going to drive her crazy.

Finally she started back to the room, but before she went to the room she grabbed a pair of scissors from a random classroom. She hurried up to the room without being seen to Conall. "Don't laugh." she said right when she got in, laughing a bit herself, but only at herself and a little bit because of his pants. She sat down next to him and started to cut off the frilly lace carefully at the seem.

Conall looked up in his whittling to see Celia in a frilly, pink, bear-faced nightgown.
-"Oh, don't worry. I had to get this shirt from a teacher because I refused to wear the shirt that this came with. It had kittens on it. Kittens! They were all chibi and the shirt was practically pink! I think they might have gotten the wrong shirt with it."
Conall went back to his whittling, already having the crude shape of Celia's face done and working on the more intricate details. He began quietly humming a random tune to himself. Unlike most people, though, his humming wasn't annoying. In fact, it was rather mellow and fell into the background.
-"I hope a teacher doesn't walk in. I don't need it known that I break just about a million school rules a day...."

Celia laughed a bit. "Kittens? You should of worn it anyways, just for me." she said teasingly with an innocent smile. She had glanced up at him for a moment before finishing with taking off the itching lacing. She got up and put the scissors away somewhere. When she returned to his side she looked at what he was doing. She rested her head on his shoulder after kissing his cheek. "What are you whittling?" she asked, watching his hands use the knife so well. "Is that...?" she didn't finish, not wanting to guess wrong.

Conall had just smoothed out the wooden Celia's lips when she asked. He flashed it to her and smiled.
-"When I said I wasn't that good... that was just my opinion. I've actually sold some of my wooden sculptures for some decent money."
Conall took back the sculpture and kept whittling, making more and more precise details, almost flawlessly.

Wu Zun shifted his position and gave Shirou a look. "Who said I wanted it to last?" He said with the faintest of smirks as if the other teacher would understand, being another man after all.

Bam!... Wabam!....Wabam...!

Wu Zun jumped at the sounds of the smashing. "Man, what the hell? What's going on?" He quietly walked further into the room and spotted the room where Lucy and Micheal were being held. Walking back to the teacher, Wu Zun let an incredulous look fall on his face. "You're not seriously keeping the attacker and victim in the same vicinity, are you?"

(They are together right? ^^; I can't remember if they were being held there or not. I'll change it if that's what it is.)

Celia smiled as he showed it to her. She could tell what he was whittling now and blushed lightly. "You're amazing at it. I don't know what you're talking about, not being good. Psh..." she said with a light laugh. She kept her head on his shoulder, watching him whittle away at the wood. She knew she could never do anything like that. It was kind of interesting too.

She let out a soft yawn and grabbed a blanket. She pulled it over herself and made herself all comfortable next to him. She kissed his cheek a couple of times, then returned her head to his shoulder. She was glad that things had settled down a little bit. She hated drama, it was overrated most of the time.

((You're close, but Lucy and Michael are in a empty office in hte front office, first floor, with four armed guards outside the door. The nurses' office is on the second floor, but the noise can still travel since it's quieting down and all upstairs.

Aww, Conall's being sweet. whee ))

Kiyoko had let a silent moment pass as she let Ray take in the story; it was one that wasn't easy to rush in all at once, but she managed it in around 7 minutes, with most of the details. Not bad at all, actually. Her grip had loosed from the covers as Ray put her hand in his, weaving the fingers so they interlocked with hers. She heard his murmured response; she expected something like this.

Of course, her mind fuzzed for the next few moments as he leaned down and kissed her. There was no one in the room this time, so no akward interruptions. She gently returned the kiss, and she wasn't sure how long it had lasted this time, but it was longer and she was more relaxed then she felt in a very long time. She had gotten everything off her chest to a soul she knew she could trust. The kiss seemed to last forever, when somehow their lips parted, probably a instinct to show how long a kiss should last. She leaned her head agsint his shoulder and smiled.

"Heh, my mother once said that I was outside with about 10 black cats when I was little, all belonging to an old neighbor and they all escaped through the broken fence. Says I got the bad luck from that. I hope I used it all up now, it seems like it." she teased, as she recomposed herself, and bore a grin. She had gotten the hard parts over with; she could finally relax and be at ease. "It's not all down in the dumps, though. I've found the internet, email, and AIM to be wonderful tools in keeping contact almost everyday. The city itself isn't too far away from here, so on a good weekend I could visit them, or vice versa. They're still insane, haha, just at a greater distance. Personally, if it weren't for them, I probably would've left much sooner anyways."

After all, they were the ones who saw that something had been wrong in the first place. The giveaway would have to have been when she showed up late to the study session they planned for math, and had a bruise on her right arm and looking slightly tearful. This resulsted in enough hugs that could kill a person, and sitting on the couch being be forcefed delicious chocolate chip cookies until she spilled what was wrong. Strange people, but caring none the less. She felt bad that she didn't get a chance to talk with them via chatsite today, but they'd probably find out what happened and bug her to death tomrrow. Woah, would she have ALOT to talk about. If only the power wouldn't go out.

"SHADDUP!" one of the guards roared as he rammed back at the door, throwing Michael off balance and sending him to the ground as the guard looked about, seeing it was only Michael who was causing noise, since Lucy was gazing out the window. "People in this building are tryiing to sleep; I suggest you do the same." and with that, he shut the door and locked it again.

As Michael was grumbling curses, Lucy realized something that made her heart skip a beat. Looking at the window locks (which were locked and tight), she began to look about the room. Before Micheal could ask, she gave him a shush look, and made a motion of cupping her hands and laying her head on it.

It took a moment to realize what Lucy was going on about, but he took it in stride finally at the last motion; she wanted him to pretend he was asleep, to fool the guards. She apparently had a plan. He took it in stride, and laid on the ground, making believeable snoring noises. A few sighs were heard outside, and one of the gurads went on partol in the halls, leaving three still wide awake. But, they were searched befoer entry, and there was nothing here. How could she have a plan with no weapon?

Ray enjoyed the kiss fully. Her lips were so smooth and warm. With that kiss he knew that everything was going to be okay. He let all his care for her be shown through that kiss. Truthfully he didn't want it to end, but it did. It was better than last time though, it had lasted longer since there wasn't any interuptions. He never felt this way when he had kissed any other girls. She was so different from most of the girls around here.

Ray chuckled a little bit. "I think it's all used up by now." he said and kissed her forehead. "Nothing bad is going to happen to you again from here." he smiled. "The internet is an amazing thing. You could be half way around the world and still keep in close contact with people." he said in agreement. "I don't used it that much, but it seems to have helped you out a lot." He satback down in the chair. He kept holding her hand though, not wanting to let it go just yet. She had helped him more than she probably knew. She had brought him into reality, into the real person inside him.

The nurse and a couple other people came in bringing a small couch for Ray to sleep on. He had seen this couch in one of the teacher's lounges. He said a simple thank you and watched them walk out. He let go of her hand reluctantly to set the couch closer to her. They also brought him a small blanket.

((I think it's time to end day number one; people have been up for forever. xd ))

"Lights out, everyone!" a sound filled the hallways as murmurs started to die down; the teacher were finally getting the people to go to sleep, it sounded like. Finally; it was what, 1am now?! Chances are they were going to push back the schedule as much as possible.

Kiyoko watched as the small couch was brought in for Ray, and he had let go of her head (somewhat relunctantly) as he pushed it closer to her. A nurse turned out the lights as the four adults, plus her, exited. Kiyoko heard the nurse call out a "goodnight" as the room was now of only three; the two of them, and the sleeping Renji. This felt nice; not the campout she expected, but still nice being just the two of them, mainly. She felt her leg beat a pulse of pain; no doubt the nurse would come back in a few hours for a quick medicine injection or something. But she'd be asleep; her mind was finally relaxed, as if two boulders were finally lifted off of her shoulders. Tomorrow would be better, for sure, even if the storm doesnt stop, if it ever does stop. She put the pillow back down flat and laid down. wrapping the blankets and her doll closer to her. As she finally fell asleep, she felt her hand find Ray's and held it; she had much to look foward to tomorrow, but for now she enjoyed the company of him.

Shriou went back to his classroom and fixed his lounge desk chair so it would go back some. His mind was running all over the place as he watched Wu Zun leave with his last troubling comment, but best to push these thoughts aside. He "laid down" and stared at the ceiling for a moment, before falling asleep, finally on break.

((EDIT: OK, I forgot to mention that any of you can start off day two! Kiyoko would do it normally, but since she's supposetly under the weather; that's pretty unlikely. xd

But all I'll give to help you is that it's 10:00 am and it's pouring and looking horrible outside.))

Conall had just been finishing whittling when the lights went off. He accidentally stabbed himself in the thumb.
-"Ow."
Conall placed the knife and sculpture in a bag, grabbed a blanket, and stuck his stabbed thumb in his mouth like a little child. He stopped right before sitting next to Celia and had to keep himself from laughing. The blanket was blue. Conall sat down next to Celia, covered himself, and held onto Celia. Yeah, he was getting pretty touchy-feely recently, but he almost committed suicide! Plus at least he wasn't being perverted about it...

[[ Sorry I've been having fun with the Gaia Valentine day thing :] ]]

Ray was very relaxed at this point. He had kissed her cheek and watched her fall asleep. His hand held onto hers again. He too couldn't wait until tomorrow. It'd be chaotic, but when they were alone it wouldn't matter what was going on outside. He pulled a blanket over himself and made himself comfortable while still holding her hand. Slowly he drifted off into sleep. Everything became quiet and all that could be heard was the rain against the building and the wind whipping itself at the brick. It was actually kind of soothing in a way and it sent him fast asleep.

Celia giggled as he sucked on his thumb. "Aww, my cute baby..." she said. He was so innocent in one way, while not in many other ways. He really was just like an abused child. She cuddled up in his arms, resting her head on his chest. She didn't mind him being all touchy-feely since he wasn't doing it in a perverted way, but in an affectionate way. She rested her head on his chest. "Goodnight..." she whispered and closed her eyes. He was warm and since he took a shower he smelled good. This made it easy to sleep.
