"We shouldn't have much time for being too precise when in flight, so high and low shall do wonderfully. Capital ships, as slow as they are, may have time to shout out precise locations, but in fightercraft, it'll probably be changing enough to make it less than easy to get a compass reading anyway. Often, this kind of location calling is usually used against stationary or ground targets anyhow, so I wouldn't worry too much. But, just to get you up to speed, we'll practice this anyway," Ritt said.

"Mostly recognizing how to parry. Each parry requires a different movement. All parries are circular in motion. Learn how to twist a blade away from you. Splitting your body into four quadrants, top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. Use this as a form to understand where to parry. You will spin the blade clockwise in the top right or bottom left quadrant, counter clockwise in the top left or bottom right quadrant. These are most effective against lounges and stabs. Practice," the droid said, making its first stab.

Urge to kill rising. She thought as the old man mocked her in her own voice.

Dont kill the doctor now. You're better off waiting until his goon is gone. Thatu Razg's voice admonished her.

Doctor?

That crippled old man is the same being you met on Mandalore, the cyberneticist. I recognize his particular brand of dark madness.

He must be some kind of changeling.

Whatever. Though you might want to agree with the deal before he starts asking why you are having a conversation with yourself.

"Fine." She stated. "Since your thug clearly lacks any useful skills, it seems I'll have to deal with the Govenor. And if I dont get my money, sithling, then no amount of your Dark Magiks will save you from my wrath. Your shape changing hide will make an interesting throw rug."

"A date? Let's not be hasty now," Nakara joked, "I have so few worthy opponents. When they're gone I always miss them... No matter. I will look forward to giving 'credit' to your name."

He walked out of the door, and headed to the next room, ready to prep the next suicide squads for their own objectives and start the bidding war. Nakara gave a slight chuckle at his pun, though he was curious as to the presence she had brought with her, or why he had overlooked it so quickly last time...

Koren stood in nothing but a pair of weighted training robes. He had arrived and spoken to the head of the facility, expressing his interest to be re-admitted into the ranks of the trainees for the day. All-in-all, he was glad to be accepted so warmly.

His first opponent was young. Probably the age of adulthood, but no more. He was muscular, but small and would not prove much of a challenge to Koren's years of fighting skills.

Koren is the challenger and therefore Nu'ryc shall set the terms of the fight.

I choose staff fighting. No items, armor, or weapons. You may either use the staff or your hands. Do you accept?

I do. Fight well, ner vod.

Koren accepts. The fight may begin.

Koren was handed a staff and so was Nu'ryc and the battle began.

“Understood.” Aurora said. “Ready when you are.” She stood in her fighting stance, lightsaber at the ready.

Ritt began calling off various locations, slow at first until Aurora had gotten her bearings. Slow at first, he sped up till she was going at about one every three seconds. He even tossed in a curveball or two, saying such things like "Multiple targets at points" or "wait, I meant" and filling in details. It may have been cruel a bit, but in the cockpit, she'd have a compass to look at as well as direction, so this was tougher than the real thing. Ritt began to toss a remote between his hands, every so often calling one high or low, until Aurora had gotten fairly good at the readings. In quiet honesty, he was getting rather weary of such simple exercises.

Perhaps this will be more difficult than I thought. I can only imagine what padawans must be like. She's been here less than a day and I'm getting tired of this. My patience must really be lacking if I can't handle simple aeronautic training...

"That'll be fine for now," he said, sitting up from a crate. "You'll pick up more as you begin flying. This is a good enough start for today on direction. Headings and bearings are in the little journal I gave you, so that'll be easier to understand in due time. You're free to stick around and practice ataru with me, or you can go back to your room. Not much else to do on this crate."

Aurora shut down her lightsaber and clipped it onto her belt, pushing the blindfold up onto her sweet soaked forehead she looked at Ritt.
“If you don’t mind I’d like to say a little while and practice with you, at least until the dinner bell rings. If that’s ok.” She grinned at him.

Koren lunged at his opponent. With a quick arm, he brought his staff down upon Nu'ryc. The young warrior was barely able to bring his own staff to parry. Koren retracted and began stabbing and swinging, forcing Nu'ryc on the constant defensive. This fight had been determined since it's start.

Koren wanted to get on to the more challenging opponents. So he brought his staff down hard and the boy parried, again. This time, though, Koren brought his leg up and connected a powerful kick to the boy's ribcage. As the boy cried out and fell, Koren struck at his hands, disarming him. Nu'ryc hit the ground with a loud 'crack' and Koren was sure something had broken.

Yield! Do you yield?!

Agghh! I yield! I yield!

Nu'ryc has yielded, Koren is the winner!

You fought hard, ner vod. But you put to much energy into your defense. The minute you stopped attacking and focused on defending, I had already won. Take that to heart and improve.

I will, ner vod. Vor'entye.

Koren gave up the two staffs and Nu'ryc was taken by a pair of medics in white armor. As he was carried off, he waved on last thank you to Koren. Koren then replaced his spot at the side of the battle circle, sitting out a fight between two rivals.

"Suit yourself, but we'll have to end before dinner. Briefings are necessary," he said, standing up and flexing out again.

"Ataru is all about one's connection with the force. I like it because I'm into speed. Jumping, sprinting, dodging, its just like the fighter I pilot. It's built for when you have to focus on a single oppenent, and great in wide open areas... Which is precisely why I train with multiple remotes in a closed space. I'm probably never going to see combat on the ground, so the interior of ships and stations are my only priority. I shouldn't be learning Ataru in the first place, but as an adrenaline junkie such as myself, the other styles are just too.... slow..."

He pressed a button on the wall, as the gravity began to increase. "The force is an ally, one which all ataru masters much learn to harness in totality. You will be tired, you will be drained. But a good flurry is nearly impossible to block. So, to help you forcibly use the force, the gravity is turned up. So, until you get used to the gravity, do a thousand pushups, with your thumbs. Unless you think that's too easy?"

The droid's first attack was to the top right. Shisstal responded by swinging his lightsaber clockwise to parry. Luckily, Shisstal was able to respond just in time. The parry knocked the droid's weapon away from Shisstal's body. The droid then tried to stab at the other three quadrants. Shisstal responded as quickly as he could while still making sure he twisted his blade the right way. Clockwise for anywhere on the right, and counter clockwise for anywhere on the left. While he practiced he thought of a question that might be useful for future engagments. "What about an attack to the middle?" Shisstal asked as he parried an attack to the bottom left.

Dizzy carefully watched the camaras as they moved to see all parts of the room. Then, Dizzy saw his chance. Both camaras were facing away from where he was. Dizzy took his chance. He quickly got up and ran at the two guards. He hit them over the head with his arms so that they were knocked out. Then Dizzy grabbed the guards and went inside the compound. And he was able to do it all before the camaras looked back at where the guards had been just seconds before.
Dizzy found a storage closet and stuffed both the unconciouss guards inside. Then he proceeded through the compound. Apparently, the compound was guarded heavily from the outside only. Dizzy hadn't encountered any guards yet. But he still didn't know where his bounty was. And it was too dangerous to just pop into random rooms with shooting at anything that moved. Dizzy silently moved along the walls of the compound looking for anyone that fit the description of his bounty. But with no luck.
After searching for a while, Dizzy had found the security control room. He readied his weapons incase their was going to be heavy resistance inside. He opened the door and dashed inside before anyone noticed him. But the attempt wasn't needed. There were only three guards. They raised their weapons at Dizzy. But Dizzy was faster. He raised one of his arm-mounted blasters and shot each man before they could pull the trigger.
Now Dizzy was going to have to work fast. He didn't know if the sound of him firing was heard. But if it was, the compound would soon be swarming with security. Dizzy began looking through the security moniters for his bounty.

"Your defense will be concentric. Utilize the fact the quadrants overlap in the middle to plot the most efficient defense," the droid said, as it made a lunge for the middle.

((In real fencing, the same problem applies. But, as your hands are capable of moving up and down, the middle is overlapped by all four circles of defense. While beginners tend to get confused on how they should act, they soon learn that a perfectly aimed strike at the middle is in fact the easiest attack to block, hence why most lunges are pointed upwards.))

Aurora just looked at Ritt as he dialed up the gravity, she could feel the increasing weight of her lightsaber as it tugged at her belt, the long braid of her hair pulling at the back of her head, even the blindfold she had pushed up onto her forehead was starting to feel heavy. She lowered herself to the floor and assumed a push-up position, calling upon the force to add her she rested her increased weight onto her thumbs.
She concentrated, not upon herself, but onto the actual molecules of air that was between her and the deck plates of the ship. It wasn’t easy to do what Ritt had asked, her first few attempts were shaky and wobbly, and she actually slipped and fell face first onto the floor as she learned how to balance her attention between levitating herself and using her actual mussels in her arms and chest. But for all of her effort she wasn’t able to come close to how many Ritt had told her to do, but she continued to try and do her best, no matter how long it would take her she was determined to be able to reach her target number.

Ritt watched with a slight humor itching for a chuckle. He put himself into a handstand, well adjusted to such training, as he held himself stable.

"The trick is to try and channel it through you. Think of your body as a fighter, with the force as the power generator. Your arms are the weapon systems... maybe that isn't the best example," he started. "Hmm.. Okay, you know how that you learned how to summon a Force Push from you, and then imagine pushing out? Similar idea. But instead of letting the force go wherever you with to push something, contain it inside your body. You're not trying to affect something around you, but your body yourself. The Force can repair your body, it can also strengthen your muscles or make you quicker. If you know how to perform a sprint with the force, or heal, it might be easier."

Ritt began lifting his right hand and balancing his body solely on the left arm.

"You do realize that the number of a thousand was a joke, right? Most pilots can do maybe a hundred in this gravity. You could try doing backflips too, if you want to try training that. Better test how high you can jump before doing that though. In this gravity, accidents do hurt more than normal as well. First time I tried, I wound up in the medic's office with a concussion. Turns out I didn't quite make the loop, if you catch my drift."

“Think of my body as if it was a starfighter.” She thought placing the image firmly into her mind Aurora concentrated upon the force, focusing it into her, like a power reactor and pushed against the deck plates beneath her. Keeping the power up she learned to how to increase and decrease how much she pushed her body away from the floor as she allowed the force to flow through her body, strengthening her mussels against the strain of the gravity.

“Right, but I…think that, I’ll…try to…get used… to this…first.” She grunted. “Before I try any back flips.”

"Seems like you're getting it. I guess you're a better student than most, 'cause i've never had practice teachin'," Ritt laughed, almost falling off balance. He shifted balance over to his right arm. After several minutes, as he guessed Aurora was starting to get the hang of it, he began discussing brevity code, to hopefully catch her up a bit.
