He nodded at Vacona. "He may be my best friend, but I know when to stick up for a lady. Even if you are not my girlfriend, you are our friend, and I will defend you as if you were my girlfriend because no lady deserves to be treated like she's some prize to be won." He snorted into his pumpkin juice.
Raven sat in her NEWT Transfiguration class. She wished that she could be sitting in the Great Hall with all her friends, but no she was stuck in this hell hole. They were reviewing the spell for portkeys as well as the purpose of being a registered Animagus. Raven had an idea on what her animal form would be, but they were going to learn how to find it next lesson.

She moved to the side of the passage way so as not to be in the way. As some of the slytherins came back from dinner her things were kicked across and down the corridor. Abigail didn't care. She was even happier that no one stopped to see what was wrong or pick her things up to help. She was off in her own scared little world and saw no one as they passed.

Carina admired Vacona for keeping her temper and not making a big scene out of it. She performed a silent spell to clean and seal up the wound descreetly. She was shocked at the turnaround of Draco's personality, now it seemed her brother embodied his previous traits. "So are you guys ready for tonight?" She asked, not naming specifics though, there were too many extra ears around.

Vacona raised an eye brow at Draco. "And this is the big bad Draco everyone talks about?" she said and then a wide grin curled over her teeth. Vacona was happier now that she had friends that she could count on. Though she could tell that Neville was not going to let that slide. It looked like he was about to blow. Vacona looked for something she might need near him and then smiled softly. "yeah Cuz, could you pass me those mashed potatoes?" she asked as sweetly as possible. Neville fought his temper and then finally lightened up a little. "Hey sure... Cuz." he said sheepishly. Vacona was right, buttering him up by giving him a casual family pet name was a good move. Vacona gave her plate a good helping of mashed potatoes as she answered Carina's question, "I can't wait! I bet it's going to be funnnn!"

"Well, I sure do hope we can get some more people. I'm going to ask Ginny when we go back to the common rooms." Carina explained as she added some apple pie to her plate, dinner was almost over.

Vacona nodded and got herself two pieces of pie. "I like the food here, it's good!" she said, "And uh... Who's Ginny." Vacona said shyly. Neville grinned, "A very gifted and feisty girl, actually you're like a darker version of her. Except that you're short and squeaky." Vacona glared at her cousin, "I'm not short and squeaky!" Vacona just so happened to squeak, with that realization she started to eat her pie silently.

((hey gals! sooooo sorry i've been busy fir a while. I'm finally back in my fiancé's arms, and he and I are going back to West Virginia today. It'll be a week before I make a good post so feel free to put my somewhere in the rp and i'll post accordingly when i return ^^))

Carina laughed at Vacona's interjection."Don't worry Vacona, we love you, squeaks and all." She giggled again as she got up from the table. "Neville, lets get back to the common room, I don't see Ginny at the Gryffindor table, so she might be there." She said, and Neville got up and grabbed her hand. As they walked past vacona, he ruffled her hair.

Raven headed out of her Transfiguration class. "NEWTs SUCK!" she yelled to herself swearing as she did so. She headed down the hall, and down the stairs to the Great Hall. Walking into the Great Hall, she saw her friends, and Draco sitting at the Slytherin table. Silently, she tiptoed up behind Draco, and placed her hands over his eyes. In her best British accent she said "Guess who", and being American it didn't work too well. Laughing, he grabbed her up into his arms and gave her a slobbery kiss. Taking his hand she tugged a little. "You better not have eaten yet, or I'll hex you to bits and pieces." She said playfully. Smiling, he walked behind her like a droopy eyed pup.

Vacona grinned cutely at Carina, then she looked at Draco and Raven. "Ewwww Cooties!" she shrieked. She was only joking of course. And gobbled down the rest of her pie and grinned. "Draco tell her what she missed out on!" Vacona squeaked. Draco sighed, "I so gallantly rescued Vacona AGAIN" he said dramatically, and then smirked. "Yeah right! Although you did tell off Blaise which was cool." Vacona smiled at Raven, she liked Raven a lot because she understood growing up in America was like. And how school was pretty different, even when home schooled.

Carina paused when she saw Raven bounding throught the great hall. "Hello Raven, No, Draco didn't eat, seeing as he's taking so long to tell you himself, and We have to go, Neville and I, we are going to round up some last minute recruits..See you tonight!"She said and then waved goodbye to the rest.

Vacona smiled at Carina, then felt awkward being with the two love birds. She muttered something about aliens invading and she had to go change for it, and then ran to the Slytherin common room. She she bounded up the stairs to her dorm she saw a note on her bed. She opened it and assumed that one of her dorm mates put it there. She opened it and red the note, "I'm sorry, not many girls are like you. You're not bad kiddo, come see me at 6:30 in the common room if you want to talk more about it."
Yeah and how many times has he used that line? Vacona sighed and decided to go see him anyway. Vacona opened her trunk and looked at her clothes.
"What does one wear for a meeting?" she muttered to herself. She decided to go with a mint green sun dress and the Slytherin scarfs and a matching winter hat and gloves. She smiled and ran to the common room to wait for Blaise.

Carina spotted Ginny in the common room, finishing an essay. She ran up to the youngest Weasley. "Ginny..remember what we were talking about a few weeks ago, about starting the you-kno-what up again?" "Umm..Yeah?" She answered. "Well, we are going to have a little meeting tonight, wanna come? Sure, there will be some Slytherins, but they're ok." Carina explained and Ginny eyed her cautiously. "I'll go, but if any of them start trouble, they won't know what hit them."She smiled. "Great, thanks Ginny."Neville added. "So you two going together now? Took you guys long enough.."She giggled, Carina and Neville both blushed.

Abigail hid her face as she cried in the passage way. With her dark hair and robes she was almost impossible to see in the passage way. She was glad for the fact that almost no slytherins cared and the ones that did wouldn't do anything just to show that they didn't care. Slytherin pride and all that junk. She knew it was only a matter of time before on of her new friends would come down the passage and notice something on the floor, to find her crying. She almost dreaded this moment.
