"Chaos!" A blue blur shot down the stairs at the sound of the big man's rough voice. "Where've you been?!" He asked excitedly as he neared. "Were you getting into trouble again?" This wasn't asked with even a hit of being upset. More like forlorn. As if he were simply sad that he hadn't been able to help.

Al smiled at Keiko. "Well....yes. I decided that it would be better for me if I did learn how to battle. If I'm ever forced into a fight, I want to be able to defend myself and help my Pokemon so they don't get hurt." He told her as he looked at the strange man calling for everyone. "Looks like I'm an available member now, huh?" He asked with a small laugh.

Odd sighed when he heard Chaos' voice. "Oh boy......"

"Awww....." Lykas sighed at Chaos' response. He just knew Chaos had been up to something fun. And now he'd missed out on a chance to do something nefarious and enjoy himself.

"It feels good to be here, really." Al replied, adjusting his glasses in an attempt to hide the faint blush that crept up his cheeks.

Lykas threw his hands into the air at this point. "Woot! I get to be a hell raiser with Chaos!" He cheered happily.

Al nodded to Terashi. "Well.....I'm not sure if I like everything about this place just yet. But I'm certainly going to try and find everything I can that I do like." He told Keiko with a smile.

Odd, spotting Esio not far off, phased through the couch, silently grumbling about still not being able to do that properly when he wanted to, and walked over. "Hello there." He greeted. "You look familiar....Have you been around long?" He asked, trying to recall where he knew this guy from.

Dante was beginning to feel a little left out of everything. And Kairi? Well, frankly, Kairi didn't care. In all actuality, Kairi just wanted to go back to sleep since she had been sitting outside most of the night. Dante placed one hand on Kairi's shoulder, causing the redhead to turn towards him. "What do you want, Dee?" Kairi asked, a little irritably. "Kinda just wanted to talk. I don't really know what's going on right now.." "I don't know either Dee. Just wait. I'm sure Sub will explain soon, and then all of us will have a good idea of what's going on. Why don't you go talk to someone else? They're likely to be better conversationalists than I am," she muttered, her voice a little harsh. She wasn't trying to be mean to Dante, she just wanted him to go be more open and not be latched onto her. The blue-haired male just looked up at Kairi with his crystal-blue eyes and pouted. He had the puppy-dog look down pretty well, and it actually caused Kairi to give in. He had explained to her once about how rough he'd had it (not nearly as rough as she had had it growing up, but, she still pitied him in a way), and she wasn't about to leave her friend to try and talk to people by himself.

The redheaded girl glanced briefly around at the people that had gathered, trying to pick someone who wouldn't intimidate Dante too much, finally settling on dragging Dante over to Al and Keiko. "Hey you two. Hope you don't mind me cutting into your conversation, but, Dante needed a little help figuring out who he could talk to besides me," Kairi said, trying to sound a little less emotionless, with not much luck since she was still tired and it made her sound more groggy than anything. It was then that she realized that she had forgotten her bandages, and that her scarred eye was exposed. She sighed and pulled her hair a little to cover that eye, hoping that she wasn't intimidating anyone with her mutilated face. Dante didn't say anything, still hiding behind Kairi. Or at least he was hiding behind Kairi until she grabbed one of his wrists and pulled him forwards to stand beside her instead of behind her.

Odd grinned slightly at the new guy. "Ah! That's right! You were talking to Terashi." He recalled. "I apologize if I seemed antisocial at the time. My boyfriend wasn't feeling well and I was a bit worried about him, you see." He admitted a tad sheepishly. "Not exactly a great excuse for being a downer but It's the best I have." He said with a small laugh. "Anyway, it's nice to meet you and yes, my name is Odd."

Al, despite Kairi's best attempt at not being intimidating, still ducked behind Keiko when the girl approached. It wasn't anything against the poor girl, and he felt awful for doing it when she began to speak, immediately attempting to apologize. "I-I-I'm s-s-sorry." He stuttered out, his voice much quieter than normal. Damn! Why did he always have to do this when people approached him. "I-I-I d-d-don't mean to b-b-be r-r-rude." He added, somewhat stepped out from behind the young woman in front of him. He remained half-hidden behind her, however.

Esio adjusted the sleeping Sandshrew on his head before replying.

"It is understandable," he said quietly. "I do hope he feels better soon. Yes, I see you, Charmander. I will get you a sandwich in a few minutes."
