Little David heard the depressing song but kept a happy joy sense he didn't know what such things were at such a young age. His little pointed ears twitched as he looked up, his bright blue eyes catching sight of the oddly dressed man and giggled, reaching up to him with his arms wanting to be held.

~dropping to the floor without a sound as he landed, he laughed~
what do i want? just stopping in to say hi. to see how my future livestock is doing.
~looking at the tiny child he grins~
whats this? someone playing mommy for the day?
~he asked this while looking to 9 out of the corner of his eye~

He kept giggling and reaching up for Truinthil as 9 picked him up. He listened to hear but hardly understand her words but understood her tone and quieted down. He held his arms close to himself and fiddled with his fingers.

he wants me to hold him. you do not trust me with a child that cannot even fend for itself? my past is murderous and such, but with how much i have matured over the last ten millenia, i have come to attain some codes of honor and more or less...morals.

ah ah ahhh. i wouldnt grab any weapons if i were you 9. if you try to attack me i will have no qualms in killing you and the child with you. sure. i have enough honor not to kill a defenseless baby when it's on its own, but as soon as someone holding that child draws a weapon...you know the rest.

She hissed at him glaring at him as he looked her in the eyes
"Kai I'm taking the baby some place safe... You and Life watch T for me"
9 turned and started up the stair to her room on the third floor
