iOath @James: Ow. And that happened to you at an early age? That must have sucked. @Shinsua: NOT YOU! SILK! @Silk: SNAP OUT OF IT! YOU DON'T LOVE HER! xD Getting in a car accident sucks, but I don't regret being deaf for a second. People ask me if it was torture not to hear, I tell them that the torture must be good. I couldn't hear suffering...but couldn't hear words of love. So, I think that being deaf is a curse and a blessing...being able to hear is the real curse. I have never heard a person cry till a couple days ago and it was the saddest thing that I have ever heard. That would be the only reason that I would choose to be deaf again. @Silk: Can I go back into the Tower now?

Well I think that hearing is a gift. You get to hear if things are coming, so people can't just randomly surprise you out of nowhere. You can also listen to music. Which is awesome. And watching anime/TV shows is good, too.

l-Silk-l take this as a present hun Jamie - i know sign language, Sorry if that was inconsiderate but my first ever Girlfriend was deaf so i know it. REALLY!!?? thats a 1st for me, one time i had a date and he didn't know I was deaf and he called me Hellen Keller.

In sixth grade, there was a mat on the Library floor that had sign language on it. My friends and I sat on top of the mat, and just tried to learn random stuff. Specifically, the letters F and U.
