Paradox sighed. "How long are you going to do this, Alastor. What do you hope to gain from killing the Queen?" Paradox asked. He could only stall for time at the moment. His hand slipped to one of his katana's. Even if he could hit the man, Katherine would be dead by the time Alastor was.

"I kill her, when she dies Matachi will die, then I will kill myself. Then we can all move on to the next life and I can try for her again. It's only right." Alastor laughed as he jiggled the handle of the knife a bit. "C'mon Paradox, go ahead and walk closer. You'll only seal her fate."

The general sighed again. "And that's why I can't take another step." He said in an annoyed tone more to himself than anybody else. There had to be an end to this somewhere. This couldn't just be another bottomless pit of misery and death. "What do hope to gain out of this series of deaths?" Paradox asked in a deep, serius voice.

Ignoring Matachi's comment, he looks over at Paradox. "I hope to gain a new life and start over. After all, when this one is over, Matachi won't be returning or reborn, it's perfect for me to get her." He said, although he still sounds completely mad.
Without looking around, Black bend down on to one knee and grabs something out of his pocket. Lifting it up towards her, he opens it to reveal a very nice diamond ring. "Sarah..." He says a little slowly. "Will you marry me?"

Matachi smiles there "Actually, your wrong evidently you didn't notice last time but, Set and I are one this in turn grants me the rights of being reborn a new being or attached to Katherine." He says

She was very glad he had told her to sit down. Sarah would have fallen otherwise. It wasn't the ring that did it, it was Black's words. She couldn't remember how long ago they met, but felt like forever. Words escaped her. Instead, tears of happiness streamed down her face until they came back. "Oh Black...." Tears threatened to choke back what she had to say. "Yes! Yes of course I'll marry you!"

"Indeed, you will be attached to her, but nothing more. You will float around, like Set did. Following her until the end of time. Then I will enjoy watching you. Do remember which one of us is favored by the Gods." Alastor laughed as he looked back to Matachi. "Not to mention, I hope you didn't corrupt my daughter while she stayed."
Black looked at her, his mind started to fail him or at least so he thought. Then he jumped forward to hug her, setting the ring on the table. "I'm... I'm so happy right now."

Paradox shook his head. Reborn again and again? "It seems pointless to me. I may have a unaturally long life, but I would not be reborn for the world if I could help it. Living the same routine over and over. Pointless." Paradox brought out his katana. It appeared blood red, and pointed it at Alastor, but because of where Alastor was, it pointed straight at Katherine. It was purely for dramatic effect. "Pointless." His voice hissed it the last tiem.

Sarah held Black close to her. "I love you..." She tried to say through her tears. Never could she remember being this happy in her life.

"Indeed Paradox, quite pointless. Though as always, I'm never given a choice in the matter. For, it happens at complete random. Though we're always reborn in the same country, in the same village and we always all know one another another one way or the other." Alastor told him, then looking back over to Matachi. "I guarantee, my first act of finding you in the next life will be killing you before you even have the chance to go near Katherine and that's a promise."
Pulling back, Black placed a kiss on her lips and looked into her eyes. "I love you too, Sarah." He told her, still looking at her. "Now... now we need to plan... plan for the big day."

Sarah pulled him back for another kiss, a longer one. "My love, there will be time. No need to rush just yet," she purred. "Let's just enjoy this while it lasts. You know, before the rush of planning." Her tears had stopped. "Because I'm sure you'll want everything proper for our wedding night," she said, placing one of his hands on her stomach.

Paradox shrugged. Maybe there was a way of ending it, of destroying the laws placed there by the gods. Paradox didn't know the answer. "Alastor, do you remember what i said to you before?" He asked simply.
