Miroku looked around "we need to find shelter to recover, there should be a cave over by that mountain side."

Inuyasha helpped Kikyo up. "Well dont push yourself too much and lets get you to that cave."
Miroku walked up to the cave. "Hmmm i feel no demonic auras or anything so this one is quite safe. and there seems to be a hotspring inside too!" he smiled "What luck!"

L awoke, sitting up from the grass-covered ground. He scratched his head a few times.
Hmm, this is new. Heaven must exist, after all.
He stood up, brushing himself off, and began to walk in no particular direction. This whole situation was most awkward to him. He had believed that he had died, after Light Yagami told him everything about Kira and the Death Note. Now, he has appeared in this world, whatever it may be called, and is unsure of what exactly this place might be. There was the possibility that this was the afterlife. However, this world could also be real, rather than a spiritual or dreamlike manifestation. Until he could gather more evidence, L would not confirm the nature of this place.
It was not long after he made his way over a small hilltop that L discovered a range of mountains. He paused for a moment and listened. The wind seemed to carry voices of nearby creatures, or people judging by their speech. L continued his walk towards the mountains, when a massive tree suddenly toppled over upon him. L stepped to the right, moving at an incredible speed, and appeared as a blur to any onlooker. The tree itself fell harmlessly to the ground beside him.
It appears that I have gained supernatural speed. Perhaps that is caused by the physics of this world. I must perform a few tests.
With that, he bent down and tried to lift the tree. As if it weighed nothing, L lifted the tree back up to a vertical position. He then allowed it to drop once more and it fell upon him. The tree bashed L across the head and rolled off to the side. He had barely felt a bump. His tests were successful. L decided to take advantage of these new powers and sped off towards the group of people near the mountains, arriving in just under a second.
"Hello. You may call me L."

L glanced at Vegito with his hands in his pockets. He studied him for a moment, taking in every detail with his tired eyes.
"Yes. It's quite interesting that you mention that. I thought I was dead, but according to your statement, this must be a world where the living, not the dead, exist."
He bent his toes, making a slight cracking noise.
