Al smiled wider. "As am I. Now we can enjoy a nice lunch together." He said as he walked back inside. He had a small table set up with a few fire-roasted fish laid out along with some rice balls made with organic rice set aside to go with them.

"Well, she's learning to use Water attacks fairly well but her Ghost-type attributes are suffering from neglect. I'm not exactly good with that aspect and I still can't get her to let Odd teach her. I dunno why she suddenly took to me like she has, though." He admitted with a sigh. He looked pretty tired, today. Come to think of it, he's been looking pretty exhausted all the time lately.

"Well, thank you." Al said as he blushed slightly, adjusting his glasses as he walked over to the table. "My family was always rather traditional so I tend to make things like this all the time.

Lykas looked at Terashi a bit funny for a moment. "She does? Huh......That's news to me." He said as he looked down at the small Ghost-type beside him. "I feel fine, for the most part. Just been pretty tired lately but that's kind of expected, given that my boyfriend just up and left on me a few weeks back...." He may feel alright aside from the tiredness but it should be obvious it was more than that. Physically, he looked exhausted. Almost like he hadn't slept in days. Maybe it would be a good idea to get him to a doctor.

"Do I really look that bad?" Lykas asked as he leaned over the edge of the lake and looked at his reflection. When he saw himself, he screamed, literally screamed bloody murder, and fainted. Narcissism can have some pretty debilitating effects on the psyche.

Odd was indeed in the training room. Since Hawk hadn't ever responded to his offer to help him train his Joltik, he'd decided to go ahead and begin his own training. He had A'Capella, Rhythm and Beat training together not far off and he was standing with Baroque, his Cofagrigus, practicing using his intangibility. He'd set up a small wall and was essentially practicing phasing through it to evade the weak Shadow Balls Baroque threw at him when Terashi entered.

He'd just phased through the wall when he saw the young man enter with Lykas slung over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Holy ~/~! What happened to him?!" He asked, only to get smacked in the face with the last Shadow Ball Baroque threw. "OW!" He cast a glare at Baroque, as if accusing him of doing that on purpose, only to receive a four-armed shrug from the Ghost-type. And obvious "Oops." gesture. He returned his focus to his boyfriend afterwards, however. "Anyway, what happened?"

Odd gained a grim look on his face as he looked over Lykas. "You may be spot on, there." He told Terashi as he looked past Lykas' physical form. "His soul is very weak. He's usually so full of energy but it's like it's all been sapped from him." He announced, seeing that the spirit threads coming from Lykas' body looked frail. Normally, these threads would appear more like ribbons with the amount of energy Lykas had.

"Cadenza! Go fetch Narcissa for me. I don't care how much she doesn't want to see me, I need you to bring her here immediately."

Yes, Master. Narcissa is the young female Frillish you and your mate are raising, correct? Cadenza asked as he emerged from his Pokeball.

"That's correct. Please, bring her here immediately." After the Shedinja had left, Odd looked back up at Terashi. "I may need your help, Terashi. As much as I don't want to do this, if she refuses to stop leeching Lykas' life force, I'm going to be forced to knock her out in battle. I don't know if I can do it." He admitted with a small sniffle. As much as he loved Lykas, he loved Narcissa too. Could he have the conviction to force his own "child" into unconsciousness?

"If she doesn't stop.......Lykas is going to die." Odd voiced, finishing what Terashi had started.

It was then that Cadenza returned, Narcissa held tightly in Telekinesis grip. I have brought the one you requested, Master.

"Thank you, Cadenza." Odd replied to his Pokemon, walking over to Narcissa, who was squirming about in an attempt to escape. "Narcissa! Listen to me very carefully!" He demanded of the young Pokemon. His harsh tone caught her attention immediately. "I know you haven't taken much of a liking to me and I don't know why but I don't care right now. Have you been leeching Lykas' life force?"

"Frill! Frill frill frillish ish frillish frill ish ish frillish!" Narcissa responded, sounding both a bit alarmed and a tad hurt.

"Translation, please." He asked of Cadenza.

She says: 'I have been, but I was only trying to help.'. Cadenza supplied, maintaining his hold on the small Pokemon.

"Help? Help how? Naricissa, if you don't stop, you're going to kill him." He spoke directly to Narcissa this time.

"Frill?! Frill ish ish frillish frill frill ish frillish ish frill!" Narcissa responded, her small voice showing far more alarm.

"Translation, please." Odd requested of Cadenza once more.

She says: 'He was being poisoned by too much chi. If I stop, it'll start again.'. Cadenza translated.

"Too much chi? Narcissa.....do you mean you've been sapping excess energy from his body?

"Frill!" Narcissa nodded at this, trying to squirm free more energetically.

"Narcissa, if you want to help him, you have to stop taking so much energy. Lykas naturally has a lot of it. He's part hybrid, after all." Odd informed the Pokemon.

"Frill!? Frill frillish ish frill frill!" The little Pokemon started to cry at this point.

She says: 'What!? I had no idea?!'. Cadenza supplied without needing to be asked.

"It's alright, Narcissa. If you stop draining so much energy, you won't hurt him anymore. Let me teach you how to use your natural Ghost-type skills and you can sense his soul. You'll be able to tell if you're taking too much energy. But I can't teach you if you don't like me enough to be around." Odd replied, hoping this would be the point where Narcissa stopped avoiding him.

"Frill frillish?" Narcissa asked, looking up at Odd with tears in her eyes. "Frill frillish ish frillish frill frill ish ish frillish frill frillish."

She says: 'Really? I don't dislike you, Poppa, I was just trying to help.'. Cadenza supplied as his Telekinesis wore off.

Narcissa, upset thought she was, rushed to Odd and wrapped her.....er.....arm....tentacle....limbs around him in a hug. "It's alright, Narcissa. I'm just glad Terashi caught Lykas in this condition before it got too bad." Odd said as he hugged his young charge. "Thank you, Cadenza. And you Terashi. If you hadn't caught him in this state....." Did it need to be said? Lykas, quite literally, owed Terashi his life now.

Odd laughed lightly at Terashi's response. "Basically, she said she was trying to help Lykas by absorbing an excess of 'Chi', whatever that is, before it poisoned him. The problem is that she was trying to help him maintain a level of energy typical for normal humans and Lykas isn't a normal human. He's 1/16th Milotic hybrid, so he naturally has a really high level of energy." He explained as Narcissa let go of him and floated back a bit.

"And she says she doesn't dislike me. She was just really worried about Lykas." He added. "And I think she's going to let me start helping with her training now. I can teach her to see Lykas' soul so she can keep helping him without taking too much energy from him." He continued with a small smile to the Frillish at his side.

"But for now. I think we should get Lykas to our room so he can rest. Once his energy has recovered to a more normal level, for him, he should be fine." He suggested, kneeling down to try and lift the boy. Sadly, it was a lost cause for him. The hell? Why am I so weak all of a sudden? He wondered, Lykas suddenly far too heavy for him to carry.
