Hearing the whispered word cute, the demon twitched giving the elf a look. "If it's so good then why not eat it up and get better so that I can hog tie you and beat you senseless for calling me cute?" he growled, being his usual self towards the elf which wasn't hard to do since Monty was always grumpy even when he was nice.

Eyes widening more, Kalore looked down as he pouted, “No… Don’t do that…” He whispered his words as he glanced over at him again, shaking his head once more. “You wouldn’t tie me… would you?” There was a glimmer of panic again in his eyes as he couldn’t remember the good things of being bound so much as the bad. He had been bound by Monty before and each time had been great, but lately… anything of force had been hell. Kalore shook his head as he took another bite of the crepe, looking down now as he kept trying to keep himself calm. Monty wasn’t going to hurt him, damn it, but… he was scared of it.

Monty clenched his jaw and looked away. "No. I won't touch you at all." He said, inwardly scolding himself for letting that word to get him and being snappish. Placing the plate on Kalore's lap he quickly stood up and stepped away. "I have to go clean up. I'll be back once your finished." He muttered gruffly and practically ran out of the living room into the kitchen.

“W-Wait!” But Monty was already gone. Hand reaching out for the other, Kalore almost whimpered as he bit his lip gently, beginning to move down so that he was slumped against the couch. Why had Monty run out like that? He hadn’t wanted to make the other upset but now he was left with a panicked mind and not at all hungry or thirsty. Sinking lower, the plate was soon resting on the floor, the man not being able to reach the table, as he looked down, not liking this at all. The thing was… how was he supposed to fix it?

Monty took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he was facing the sink full of pans, bowls and plates. He was such a fool to have brought Kalore here. There was no way the elf was going to be alright with him here and getting panicked over something he would say. He should have called Joker and get him to take care of the elf the proper way. Grumbling, he started to wash the items in the sink, planning to get in contact with Joker to take Kalore to the hospital so that the elf didn't have to deal with his crap.

Curling against himself, Kalore’s back was to the room as he faced the couch’s back, trying to calm his body down but he was failing. Breath coming fast and hard, his eyes soon closed as he shook his head again. He needed to calm down but there were still bits of the drug in him and he was beginning to go through the annoying stage of in-between. The symptoms of the withdraws were beginning to show but then again his mind was still fogged on the big picture but focused on small things; beginning to overreact again and panic. Did Monty really hate him? He had thought that things were going well but… apparently they weren’t. Was he going to get rid of him? Send him away so that he didn’t have to deal with him? Monty got him out of Eri’s hold… what else did he need to do?

Sighing some, the demon finially finished washing. "Are you finished eating Kalore?" He called out gruffly, perhaps thinking that dropping the elf on the insane man was a bit much. No, he couldn't do that. That was being even more cruel. He would just have to be distant and not become attach while also keeping his words to himself and just care for the elf until he was better.

Kalore wasn’t listening this time, though. Now truly worried about what it was that he had done to tick off the other man, he wasn’t too sure about what it was that he was going to do. He didn’t want to leave here, not now at least, and Kalore couldn’t think of anyone else that could actually help him more than Monty could. Sure, the man hurt him more than anyone else could, but the only reason for that was because he was able to get so close to his heart, holding it and caring for it before he smashed it to a million pieces. So, he couldn’t hear him as he was almost whimpering, petrified on what it was that he had done to make Monty practically run out of the room.

Waiting there for a response, the demon frowned as he entered the living room to look at Kalore's back. "Kalore?" he questioned wondering what was wrong with the elf and saw that he didn't eat all of his food. Something must be wrong and part of it was him.... "Kalore what's wrong?"

Flinching when he heard the other come in, he didn’t really hear the words so much as just listen to the other’s footsteps. When Monty spoke, Kalore stuttered for a moment as he curled tighter, wrapping the blanket around him again; he was cold and now scared over something that he didn’t really understand. “N-Nothing…” Whispering that, he shook his head again as he didn’t know if he was scared of Monty or of the fact that the other was upset with him. Actually, he didn’t know for sure if he was or not but Kalore wasn’t thinking logically, at all. “You’re… You’re mad at me...” Kalore’s voice was soft, scared, but he still wouldn’t look at Monty. Why else would the man have run out and left him? And if he was mad then how could he eat?

Furrowing his brows at Kalore and frowning more, he shook his head. "What are you talking about?" He asked. The demon wasn't upset at Kalore. He was just angry at himself for saying such a thing when Kalore was in this state. The demon wasn't mad at Kalore. It would be stupid to be mad at someone who couldn't control what was going on with himself.

Kalore said nothing as he bit his lip again, “Are you… Are you mad at me?” He finally glanced back at the other, his eyes showing fear and worry. What again had it been that had set Monty off to walking out of the room? He couldn’t remember but he could remember the other walking out of the room and leaving him there, telling him to eat and that he would be back once he was done doing… sometimes. He didn’t really remember all of the details but seeing Monty walk out… it had hurt him. Badly. “You... You walked out… really quickly… and muttered something… what was it?” He couldn’t remember.

Monty blinked at Kalore. "No...I'm not." He said truly perplexed by that question then came a step closer, slowly. "Don't worry about me. I want you to eat a bit and then I'm going to take you to bed to lay down and rest, understand?" He said, making another step to him.

How could he not worry about him? Didn’t Monty know the rule about worries? Telling someone not to worry just made them worry even more. He wasn’t completely sure on why it was but it just was how it was as he watched the other, looking down soon enough. “I… I’m not hungry.” He had only had a few bites but his worry made it difficult for his mind to realize that his body still needed some form of nutrient. How hard would it be for it to change? “Can we… can we go to bed again?” Kalore wanted it to be ‘we’ and not just him that was going to bed. He wanted to make sure that Monty really wasn’t mad at him.

Monty shook his head. "Not until you have something in your stomache. I won't take that answer." He needed Kalore to have something in his stomache. He needed the elf to eat something at least half of it since they weren't that small nor that big pieces. "Eat and I'll take you to bed." He murmured, coming closer.
