Remus stepped back from the mirror in the bathroom to make sure everything was attached correctly. He had discovered upon inspection that Kaiser had made one set of armor to actually function in battle. It was a little heavier and less ornate. The second set was the one meant for the wedding and the one he now wore.

It consisted of a chest plate, shoulder plates, greaves for his wrists, thigh and shin plates, and coverings for the tops of his feet and ankles. All of it fit his natural shape so that it didn't look out of place, nor was it difficult to wear. The armor itself was a burnished black color that made it look as though it were polished obsidian. The edges of the armor were a bright reflective silver, and patterns of gold foil were etched into intricate designs on the main surfaces.

Remus closed his eyes and shifted first to his wolf form. Everything adjusted itself properly. The armor looked as natural in this form as it had in the previous one. He shifted again to his hybrid form to the same effect. He grinned at how smoothly and quietly everything shifted. He moved back into the main room and walked to the crate the armor had previously been contained in.

The last piece was a red cape which would attach to the back of the shoulders. Remus put on the final touch and moved toward the door. He paused for a moment and smiled.

It's time and I'm ready...

He opened the door and shifted to his wolf form. The cape, adjusted magically to his surprise, folding under the back of the chest plate. He moved to the main entrance, using the shadows to remain hidden. He didn't want to deal with the congratulations just yet. Once out of the base he again used the shadows to avoid suspicion of the humans as he made his way toward the garden where the ceremony would take place.

A knock happened upon the door that Rike stood close by. It was Quinn, just before the wedding, making his usual rounds. This was a particularly important stop, however, because he had yet to pick up the rings. It was customary, for Rith-Kirans at least, to pick up the ring of the Bride before that of the groom. It was against all the rules for the Groom to see her before the wedding, and so if there were any question, the Best Man would be able to answer them.

"Forgive me for interrupting," Quinn could here Rike's voice as well as Lina's. "This is Quinn. I need to pick up the ring that Lina chose."

He didn't walk in, of course. It wasn't customary, and it was down-right rude. He would wait until someone opened the door. Quinn was expecting Rike, rather than Lina.

The Secrecy of Weddings... He thought to himself, ...I doubt I'll ever understand it. Even if I do happen to experience it one day...that'll be amusing...

"There is no need..." A very tired looking Kaiser came gliding out of the sky and landed in front of Aron and Roma. "I was entrusted with the location." Kaiser looked at the two brothers. "Shall I take you there?"

"Right on time too.." Rike answered as he left the room, "And after this you can help me gather everyone to the place...you know where it is right?" he asked, opening his hand as a small velvet box appeared within it.

"Exactly where," Quinn replied to Rike, taking the box. "I stumbled upon it while wandering the city."

Quinn peaked over Rike's shoulder, trying to get the hint across. He finally gave up and said, "If it's not too much trouble and she has a few moments, could I speak to Lady Asanti? I have some rather important things that I need to discuss with her directly."

Again, out of respect for how things were in his own customs, Quinn did not push past Rike. He would wait to either be granted entry or be denied it. If he had to, he could speak with Lina mentally either way.

"I appreciate it." Kaiser nodded to Aron. He then spoke to all of them. "Why show you the way when I can just take you there?" He waved his hand to put a protective shield around the food. Next he pulled one of his little invisible threads of magic, and Karrot's bag of holding opened. He smiled and snapped his fingers. The sand poured from Karrot's bag, enveloping them in his tornado. They vanished from the street and reappeared just inside the tunnel entrance to the garden. The extra sand poured back into Karrot's bag and it closed. Kaiser pointed a finger. "That way gentlemen."

Kaiser put a hand to his forehead. "May Sune help us..." He looked back at Karrot, Aron, and Roma. "Just find a place to put it for now. You may need make a table with your sand for now. Rike will be along later." He sighed and became serious; even more so than normal... "This marriage is going to be huge in it's importance. The bride is Lina Asanti, leader of the Lotus group which aims to bring back the ten leaders who at one point ruled this planet. She is a vampire. The groom is Remus Sec. He is a lycan... On top of that, he joined the Lotus after his own kind labled him a traitor. The major point here is that many Lycans, and Vampires, will be very angry with this. Their species are blood enemies in this day and age. They will be the first Lycan Vampire marriage in almost three millenia." He paused and waited for their response.

Rike looked up thoughtfully for a moment before moving aside, "Well, I suppose you can see her since you aren't the groom, but you should hurry. The ceremony will be starting pretty soon." he then walked past Quinn, fading away and appearing in the Nocturne.

"Now, to bring Merlin and the others to the place..."

Lina turned slightly as the door opened for Quinn, a quiet smile on her face. The other ladies within the room quietly left, nodding slightly to Quinn before doing so. Lina turned comepletely, now in the wedding dress, "There is something you wish to talk about Quinn?"
