That's what that is? Ok, well now I'm even more confused about 3d modeling,.(thanks algebra...) because when using an object to interact with another (combining, or having one intersect and remove parts of the other) it is also called a boolean... I can't see the connection.
Does anybody know the average velocity of an aerosol-powered potatoe cannon? I'm wondering just how safe it would be to start Abbotsforian Potatoe wargames with the locals. It would give "grapeshot" a whole new meaning! twisted
edit: Hmm, nevermind I just checked it...apparently the average muzzle velocity is about 500 feet per second... perhaps using potatoes isn't a grand idea.

500 FPS? I've seen faster, but they're much smaller projectiles. Even so, 500 FPS is pretty dangerous with larger things, especially something like a potato. Not the best of ideas, Koz.
For some reason I'm in a semi-emo mood. Must be depression coming on again -.-; I thought I'd ended this, but I think someone else ended it for me, and now...well, I'm going to leave it at that. Nobody wants to hear me complain or whine.
Anyways.
I'm just going to sit here, munch Easy Fries and facon, and listen to my emo deathmetal.

Yeah I took some time to research average muzzle velocities... 500 FPS is the maximum muzzle velocity allowed in Canada before it is considered a lethal weapon... Some upper level airsoft guns fire at this rate. Methinks I'll see what it'll do if I fire packing foamies at 500FPS, it's not like they do a whole lot of damage. I'd use paintballs, but they hurt enough at 125 - 300 FPS, so I think that's pretty much ruled out! lol
It was a stupid idea anyway. razz But there's gotta be a way to have wargames without having to sell out a few hundred bucks for the gun alone! I tried laser tag...but the range on those things is too short. Although if we wanted to do urban stuff then that would work. Alas, Abbotsford is somewhat lacking in the way of urban sprawls!
Still....It'd be really cool to set up a pintle-mounted spud gun on a dune buggy and go bombing through the woods. Meh, maybe I'll just go back to designing my collapsable wrist-mounted crossbow... I'm trying to see just how cheap I can make one. Right now the only thing I need to figure out what I can make a bow out of that will be commonly found on a person. For example; I have a calculator as a base, a sweatband as the wrist anchor, darts can be concealed in pens, and I can make paperclip eyebolts to secure the bow to the calculator and the string can be made with heavy-duty elastics....but what do I make the bow out of?
Come on Val, I'll hear you out! After all, if everybody puts up with my crap, it's not like they'll ostercise you for spouting your sob story! Have at 'er boy!

Hello Everyone :3
This is just a quick, but important message. As you've all probably noticed, I haven't been active much as of late and have pretty much been unable to fulfill the duties as your guild captain. In light of the current circumstances, I have decided to step down from the role of Guild Captain and have given the seat to Shazzer, who I believe is more than ready to assume it.
I'm not abandoning you guys, since I really do love this guild, but I really don't think I'll be able to be your captain anymore. Hopefully, I'll still be able to pop and visit, but my activeness remains to be decided.
I'll do my best to maintain my presence in any roleplays I have already joined and I look forward to the positive changes that will be made by your new Captain, Shazzer.

Worked Abbey Airshow today...it was cold...and nobody showed up cuz it was cold....and it was boring cuz nobdy showed up cuz it was cold....and so on.... This all wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't also ended up sleeping through the pyrotechnics show. I mean, car alarms are going off and 20 gouts of flame are erupting in the air and the ground is shaking, but I slept through it like...well a baby. Sure, they do the same thing every year, but it's still damn cool! On the bright side, we now know that if World War 3 breaks out, I will sleep through it. blaugh

God... I was dumb/clumsy last night and burned my right hand by falling onto a cookie sheet. It was on top of the oven, I tripped and managed to hit my thumb and half my index finger on it. Now I can't use my thumb. >.<
