Aiden continued to stare at the page.
"I don't even think I can read this. Like... I can read the words, I just don't understand."
Aiden set the book down and looked over at him.
"Is there something you want?"

Nathan refused his need for a deep breath and smiled at his son.
"well i wanted to spend some time with you...i...havent exactly been here to be dad..."
fears started to creep up on him as he awaited his reply

Zarrius listened intently to Takehitsu he absorbed all this information. "You say that time is the difference... How much time? Ten times you say? Well now is that a good thing or a bad thing because you can no longer find any kind of challenge in you own kind but yet there are demon and angel in masses. If you try to return things could go worse for you. I mean if you go back any further you would not find those as interesting as myself so easily or you might find yourself surrounded by demons and angels... At war...and that would be deadly lest you get in between two as great as Raphael and Inferno you would be dead ..not that I am saying that you are a bad fighter its just that those two fought to the death and killed each other and that would not be good for those around them... that much power released....... SO how do you like things here?" he asked drinking some more tea. THis was an interesting person one who carries himself in an odd way... He had vasts amounts of knowledge.

Nathan put his hand on the book and used his arms weight to push it down.
"son. im sorry. i didnt know what i was doing. yes im an idiot, jerk, a**, whatever you want to call me i deserve it. but i came back. i missed you..."

Aiden looked over at him and sighed. He set the book down and stood up.
"You missed me? It didn't seem that way the...whatever time you were gone. You want to spend time father and son, then let's go outside the castle walls."

Aiden walked outside and walked 100 feet away from the castle. Around the 100 mark and turned around.
"We are going to have some father and son time."
His temperature dropped.

Nathan knew what his son was going for. he always started that way himself. it inhibited his enemies movements.
"i wont fight you son"
he said. maintaining a smooth voice and warm temperature

A mixture of shadowmancy and ice wave krept on the ground and towards him.
"You're father left you huh? Then you'll know just exactly how I feel!

Nathan's eyes sharpened.
"my father was a monster."
at this he ripped open his shirt and threw it on the ground. countless reminders of past abusements covered his torso and arms.
"he got drunk every night and beat me and my mother till we almost died. numerous times i stared down a barrel of a gun held by my father."
his voice was harsh. mostly for the reason that this brought up memories of his beloved mother, long past.
a matching wave of black ice inched across the ground yet at a fast pace

He jumped up and kicked up at him.

As his son flew at him a smooth vine shot up and wrapped around his ankle and swung him back but in a way where he could catch himself.
"i had no idea what i was doing! i had some exploring to do. i was missing something"

Aiden landed on his feet and glared at him.
"Missing what? Your sanity? Your mind? You didn't even care about how me and Scarlett would feel. How about mom, did you think of her? And exploring? What did you do sleep with other women? Tell me father! Why us?"
Fire blazed in his hands and threw them at him.

Nathan kept a soft gaze as a wall of sad shot up and negated the attack.
"i never even looked at another woman. i love your mother more than any other woman alive, besides your sister. i was lost in this life. i was not used to it. i've spent my entire life by myself. no one else to worry about but me. then when you guys came i felt lost. i never imagined i would be given such a gift as you and your sister"
