"Oh, hold on a second, Kilik," Nina said, hearing a voice from behind her talking to her. She turned around to answer; "Yes... it's over in the nor--" She met with Onix's very large face.
She screamed and took a few steps backwards before she fell over. Looking to the top of Onix's head, she saw a familiar face.
"MIKE!" she half-yelled, but was happy to see her friend. "Don't ever scare me like that again!"
All of a sudden, Nina heard a rustling in a nearby patch of grass. Getting to her feet, she started to approach it.

"Okay then. Which city are you headed to? Rustboro or Lavaridge?" Mitsu asked so she copuld get on the train before it left just incase he was going to Lavaridge.

Kilik laughed when Mike brought up his Onix. Then he watched as Nina crawled over to the grass. "I wonder...what's over there..." he blinked.

Laughing harder than ever before, Mike, Shiver, Nitro, and even Titanuim were all in tears.
"I'm so sorry Nina, but you so would have done that!" Mike said, wiping some tears away. "Hi Misdreavous!" He said with a smile.
Returning to his conversation, "I'm going to head to Rustboro and beat the tar out of Roxanne, because Shiver will have NO problem whatsoever, neither will your Magikarp when it evolves."
Mike hopped off of his Onix and said good-bye to Mitsu, the smile never leaving his face.
"Oh boy, I get to see her again! I'm so happy!" Mike said, doing a little dance.
Then Mike turned to Titanuim and said and said "How about a game of catch Titanium?"

"I'll be in the PokeCenter." She said right before he hung up. "She released her Pokemon holding Magicarp ever so carefully. I can't wait till you evolve buddy." She said to her Magicarp and walked off. "Hey guys, Mike comming!" she said clearly happy. And the trio, plus Magicarp headed toward the PokeCenter.

Nina bit her lip as she approached the grass, with Misdreavus at her side. She had Marill's Pokeball in her hand, just in case.
When she was about fifteen feet away from the tall grass, she heard a noise.
"Siiiii?" it said. "Chaaaaaaaan..... siiii?"
A split second later, the grass parted.
 Wild Chansey appeared! Level 15 Pound, Growl, Tail Whip, Refresh, Softboiled
"OH MY GOSH!" Nina squealed; "It's a Chansey!" Doing some rather quick thinking, she sent out the Pokemon she felt would do the best job in helping her capture it.
"Go, Marill!" Nina threw her Pokeball and Marill poofed out of it.

"Titanium! Rock Throw, but use really small ones!" Mike commanded, positioning his Shellderabout 30 feet away from his newest Pokemon.
"Grrooooo!" cried Onix as it gently flung a small rock at Shiver, who jumped and caught it in his "mouth".
"Good job Shiver! Keep it up, we need to work on your speed and accuracy." Mike exclaimed, having quite some fun playing with his Pokemon. He looked at Nitro and winked, Nitro winked back.

After arriving in the Pokecenter Mitsu brought out three bowls of Pokefood and asked for riceballs for herself. The sight of Magicarp eating was quite amusing and she gave a friendly chuckle and pet him on the head. "Eat up guys, I want you to grow up big and strong." She said to her three Pokemon with a smile on her face.

Kilik's jaw dropped. "You...found a Chansey?!" A smile spread across his face, "Those are so rare..." He scratched the back of his head, "I've read about them in books. Really rare Pokemon they are..." he nodded his head thoughtfully. Eevee cooed and rubbed against his leg.

"Groo!" roared Onix playfully as he chucked more rocks at the small aquatic Pokemon, who caught each one without fail.
Slowly inching their way towards Titanium, Nitro and Mike handed the Onix Mitsu's gift; the Water Stone, to him.
"Toss this one too him, but make him work for it." Mike said with an elbow nudge and a wink."
"Graaa..." Titanium reared his tail back, and rocketed the stone up into the air, a pop fly ball.
Shiver looked intimidated, he wasn't sure he could catch this one. He darted backwards, never taking his eyes off of the target.
Plummeting like a metor, the "stone" was heading straight for the little Pokemon.
"Thwack!"
Caught inbetween his shell, Shiver hopped up and down in a victory dance.
And then...
Shiiiiiiiiiiiing!

Kevin and Squirtle entered Viridian Forest and headed directly for the tall grass to train Squirtle. Crawling through the grass for at least 10 minutes, they found nothing.
"Hm, I wonder where all the Pokemon are?" Kevin asked himself. "Its also strange that I havent seen a single trainer all day..." he continued. "Ah well, probably just some freak coinsidence." he finished and went back to hunting for Pokemon.

As they ate the trio Pokemon chatted away on who knows what. Mitsu on the other hand looked threw her pack. She'd have to beat Norman and the four other gym battle before him, buy Surf and then she could return home for a visit. That is going to be a lot of work she though.

Nina felt her hands shaking and a smile grew on her face.
"Are you sure you don't want me to do this, Nina?" Misdreavus asked. Nina replied, "No, Misdreavus-- Chansey can take a beating from Special Attacks, but Physical ones are what they have trouble with. You can be my backup." Misdreavus nodded.
"Chaansii!" it said, staring at Marill. Nina pointed a finger toward the Chansey and said, "Marill, use a Defense Curl! Bring up your defense!' Marill did as Nina told it to, and just in time-- Chansey ran over and started to Pound on Marill.
Nina smirked. "Marill, give it a full-on Tackle attack!"
"Mare!" it cried, before springing up towards Chansey. It knocked her down and then sprang on her again. "Sii!" she cried, before bouncing up. It looked quite perturbed. A moment later it created a bright egg, which cracked open and sent white orblike things into the Chansey's body.
"Oh no!" Nina said; "That must be her Softboiled! With that she can get back almost all of the damage that we inflict, and it takes a lot to wear a Chansey down!" Suddenly, Nina had an idea, and a grin flashed on her face. "Misdreavus! Use Spite attack, now!"
Misdreavus, a little surprised that Nina had asked her to fight alongside Marill, did as she was told. Misdreavus closed her eyes and created four ghostlike creatures which danced around Chansey. Chansey seemed to become intimidated and temporarily lost the ability to use Softboiled as much as she would have liked.
"Marill, give Chansey another Tackle attack! Misdreavus, Confuse Ray!" Marill charged head-on at Chansey, who this time dodged out of the way. However, Misdreavus floated near Chansey and flashed a bright light at her, causing her to become confused. Not knowing who to attack, Chansey slapped herself a couple of times before making a dive for Misdreavus, only to pass completely through her.
"Good job you two-- excellent work!" Nina cheered. "But let's end this now! Misdreavus, blast it with a Psywave attack! Marill, use your Tackle one more time!" Nina's Pokemon followed instructions-- Misdreavus seemed to confuse Chansey further with psychokinetic waves, stunning it long enough for Marill to knock it over.
Nina quickly reached in her backpack and pulled out a Pokeball. She let it fly.

Shiver's blackended center body turned to white light as it erupted from his shell, shaking the very ground that they were standing on. Soon his entire body was enveloped in a blinding glow.
When the light subsided, Shiver's small clam body was replaced by the massive carapace of a Cloyster.
"Cloyster!" Shiver cried as he examined his new body, and smirk in approval.
"It never get's old." Said Mike, still in awe how beautiful the evolution process is.
"Meleon..." agreed Nitro.
"Groo!" Titanium rushed over and inspected Shiver's new form, utterly amazed that the little shrimp that beat him up so badly, was now fully grown up.

Kilik watched Nina work her Pokemon. Whoa... he thought as she called the orders out swiftly and calmly, She's amazing... He shook his head and looked down at his Eevee. It made a cute noise. "Well, now," he said aloud, picking it up, "It seems Nina has a new friend, no?" It nodded and wiggled its tail.
"Ee!!" it said.
"Maybe we should be on the look out for some new friends..." He nodded, patting the Pokemon on the head.
