(Sept. 25) - If Warner Bros. has it their way, Jessica Biel will be filling out the blue and red suit of Wonder Woman in their superhero all-star movie "Justice League of America."
Variety reports that the "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" actress is in talks with the studio to grab Wonder Woman's lasso, in a movie that's expected to feature Superman, Batman, the Flash and Aquaman as well.
And the people that AIM is listing as who they'd suggest have been everyone from Kate Beckinsale to Beyonce Knowles...all I have to say is....wow... stressed

d**k Grayson Ted_Kord Y'know The legion and The Batman just don't interest me right now. The Legion was meh at best imo and I've never found any reason to watch The Batman. (Although if Clancy Brown's is back as Luthor I may give it another try...) I just can't make my self care about those when Avatar's back. whee Ted gets + 349071234967 cool points now. xD My TiVo records ALL Avatar showings. I would have my DVR set up to do the same but it fills up quick so instead I have it set to tape just the new ones and I bought the boxed sets for the first and second season. When the third season ends I'll likely spend one weekend in an all Avatar Marathon... whee @Joseph: Well look at it this way, even if it does end up sucking at least there'll be eye-candy...

The people in charge of the new Bionic Woman show need to be stabbed. mad
Obnoxious kid sister? Enormous hideous puffy lips? Creepy mad scientist-boyfriend-twice-her-age? Nanites?! Film editor with ADD?
My expectations were absolutely crushed. Now, it's true that sometimes a pilot is a dog and the rest of the series recovers nicely, but this one's already built itself a mountain to get over. They haven't even bothered to NAME half the characters, forcing me to refer to them as "Creepy Mad Scientist Boyfriend" and "Guy who's supposed to be Oscar Goldman."
And WHY the obnoxious kid sister?!
I just hope that, as a result of this dog of a show, the ORIGINAL Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman shows finally come out on DVD.

Jaeger_Ayers So being a headcase is a nice change? rolleyes The only decent thing that can come out of this in my eyes Kell-El learning there's more to existence than just fighting and becoming more like Clark. Who says he's a headcase? He's grown up in a warzone as a weapon. And I believe that is the POINT of the show, to have him become a more heroic figure. I hesistate to say "more like Clark," because Clark is such a dumpy boring character.

He's loyal to the point of being ready sacrifice himself for his new friends. Shows good character. And growing up in a warzone as a weapon pretty much equals headcase.

Watched Bionic Woman and yeah, there's a lot of room for improvement. Still, I'm going to hang in for a couple more episodes to see if things improve.
Also, Jessica Beil as Wonder Woman. Well, the fanboys will certainly be drooling. She's not a bad little actress so it may so decent.

Not really sacrifice if you're invulnerable, now is it? Nothing shown him to be a headcase, just a d**k. What's going to be interesting is his change, his transformation into heroic figure. That was one of the major roblems with the first season. There WAS no transformation, there's no shift into heroic figure, there's not even a shift into unheroic figre (which can be interesting in it's own way but not necessarily appropriate for this show, although they slapped you in the face with the idea for Brianiac). Good coming-of-age stories, interesting stories, are about that transformation. There was nothing to transform here. Clark was there, stuff happened, aw shucks, t'weren't nothin' ma. I'd have loved to see young, reckless and boisterous Clark learning to curb his enthusiasm and think of the consequences to his actions. Or perhaps unsure, hesitant Clark, so used to not using his powers, have to overcome his self-imposed restrictions. You can STILL be loyal but that doens't mean that the character has to be so empty. Right now Clark is a golden retriever. Even the kiddies aren't thrilled by Clark, they all love the supporting characters (I'm basing this one what 7 year old Alice and her classmates say as they tear around the house, fighting to play the part of their favorite Legionaires and NO ONE wants to be Superman. "If I have to be Superman I'm not playing!").

Went into action again against the Sun-Eater under simular circumstances. The Clark dipicted was a Clark I was interested in. I like the aw shucks farmboy thrown into a future situation and yes he was unsure of himself at times and a bit overwhelmed by what he was told about his future. I did not see him as empty. Quit giving your opinions as if they are facts. It's annoying. Currently the Kell-El I'm seeing dipicted is one hardwired for fighting. It's his first response to things. This to me is a headcase. I've seen it in animals. I've seen it in people. It's not a trait I like in the least.

I'm not stating my opinions as if they're facts, I'm stating them as opinions. Which is to say that I'm talking about them. It should be obvious that they're my opinions since I'm the one typing them. The Brain Drain episode, sun-eater, etc, didn't feel heroic, didn't give him any depth. I could easily blame the writing on this, and the voice actor for the character, but then that may be exactly what works to make this character so consistently bland. He never felt like he was overwhelmed, he was just...there. He wasn't particularly interested in anything, he didn't go out and explore anything, he was practically a background character because his personality was so lacking. To be overwhelmed he'd have to have been in a situation where he acted overwhelmed, to be unsure he'd have acted unsure. The main problem with this character is he was JUST a farmboy in the future. Brainy's fantasies feel like they've got more character than the real Clark, because at least there we have Brainy imposing his own passions and visions on the character. Kell, on the other hand, while a d**k, has opinions, he speaks up, makes commentary, etc. The dialogue isn't great (never is on this show anyway), but it gives him personality. Clark's never did.

I just watched The Crow for the first time. Amazing movie. Really sucks that Brandon Lee was killed while shooting the movie. I didn't think they actually shot the actors during production, blanks or not. Did that get changed after Lee's death?

Oh, hey, meant to ask this on Monday after Heroes premeired but two things:
1. It just me, or is Hiro yelling/saying "Yatta!" going to be the traditional first episode of the season thing?
and
B. Anybody else think that if HRG has powers, it'll have something to do with paper ala Yomiko Readman in Read Or Die?

It should be obvious that they're my opinions since I'm the one typing them. No, you said "Clark is bland.", and in relation to my mentioning The Batman you said "At least it wasn't a good show." Those are statements, and one's I disagree with, and I feel like you're calling into question my taste for feeling the way I do. If you had typed "I feel Clark is bland" this discussion would have gone on this long.

The gun was supposed to have been loaded with blanks, but a real bullet got in there somehow. Loads of speculation and controversy about it.
