"I'll get on those mine spells Draeken," Kira said, "and by the way, it's good to be back, even if it's at a bad time." With than, she turned around and walked out of the room, hand resting on her hilt in tradition style.
---------------------------
Outside Alex had had to search for a bit, but came upon Tara's unconcious, partily burned body. He knelt down and took out a kateen that he uncorked and splashed a small bit on her face before her eye's fluttered open and she coughed saying, "You could have found a nicer way to wake me up." Before taking the kateen and began chugging it, even though it had been magicly altered to store an entire 5 gallons, she finished it off and handed it back to Alex before scrapping herself up and graoning into a standing position.
"So, how long will you be out of commision this time?" Alex asked. "I'd say fighting is out for about 2 days, not full stregnth for 4." Tara relpied feeling the top of her head and discovering that though much of her human hair was still their, it was signed and blackend on the ends she sighed saying, "I just got it the way i liked it too, stupid machines."
Alex laughed and said, "Well at least we know those suits Trevian got us hold up to heat and fire like that. Otherwise you'd be wearing nothing right now." "Yeah," Tara said as she ran her hand over the black, scale like under suit she was wearing that looked much like a wet suit that cut off at the knees and elbows. "I liked those cloths too, hard to get a tailor in this world to make them."
"So then, what happened to our tag along?" Alex said, "Is he around here somewhere?" "He should be back around the far side of the lake's tree line, I had him stay back for his own good." "Looks like more so than you expected. The blast probably hit him, though not as bad, lets go see if we can find him." "Fine," Tara said, "I need to start moving some to speed my healing up."

Blinking in surprise, he was amazed that he had allowed himself to forget that there were still others in the room besides himself and Phia. "Ah, thank you. Be careful, though. It seems there is someone new approaching the mansion. Not sure if they are friendly or not. Perhaps you could go greet them on your way to creating those mines?"

Sparkei rewarded himself with a grin at causing Erudemasa's first semi-serious look. Of course that was a while ago, but he was surprised to see the constantly smiling Power faulter in expression. Looking out the window, he realized he wasnt much for planning, so he decided he'd just do what he did best, fight when the moment came. And help if that was the dominate need. His ears twitched up, and he looked out the window to see someone with guns heading towards the mansion. "Well thats no good...." he wispered to himself, "Lets hope they're one of the good guys, cause the air here is pretty heavy with tension..." Leaving the room where they first met the powers that were here to get rid of "Old D", he heard the doors open, and as he reached the rails, he saw and heard the whip crack at the gun-totin woman. He decided to make himself less apparent and slowly hid in the shadows, watching the silver haired woman, and the purple haired woman......talk.

Elisi A loud crack would sound out as Elisi's whip lashed towards the drawn guns of the new comer. "I would put those away were I you. This place is a shelter for the refugee's of the Black Company, not a shooting gallery. As much as I find myself hating my brother sometimes, I do enjoy the fact that he has a nice mansion that is, surprisingly, filled with a few priceless trinkets and artifacts. I'm sure he would not be pleased with you shooting up the place." Elisi strode forth from the left of this woman and tilted her head. "Of course, if you are one of the enemies, I would have no qualms in killing you where you stand." "Yes, I would have to agree with my somewhat hair trigger fellow company member. I would really hate to see yet another thing threating the peace of the BC only moments upon my return," Kira said as a swirl of blue smoke faded away and she walked calmly out of it, her dark jade over robe making a shuffling sound. "And those guns won't really do you any good, how many people here do you think hasn't found a way to deal with such simple weapons? Besides, unless you mean harm, you don't need them anyway."

Draeken Aakarshan Blinking in surprise, he was amazed that he had allowed himself to forget that there were still others in the room besides himself and Phia. "Ah, thank you. Be careful, though. It seems there is someone new approaching the mansion. Not sure if they are friendly or not. Perhaps you could go greet them on your way to creating those mines?" Phia stood up. "I'll greet who's ever out there." She leaned over and kissed his cheek, grabbing her rapier causually on the way out, she belted it to her waist and opened the door, looking out a smile fell upon her face as she spotted a blonde figure in the yard. "'Ello, Welcome to the Aakarshan Manor. Ar' ye from the BC?"

Upon Phia's exitting the mansion, she would find the young man with his back mostly to the mansion; the scenery had his attention. When he realized he was being addressed, he turned his blue eyes to her and blinked a time or two.
"Hmm? Me? Oh no I come from up there," said the man, promptly pointing to the sky. "I came here looking for one Draeken Aakarshan, actually" 3nodding

She smiled. "Ah...My 'usband...Yes 'es inside. Follow me." She turned and walked back towards the door.

Sparkei shifted in the shadows, one of his feet had fallen asleep. He gritted his teeth as the nerves tingled back to life. Looking back down to yet another woman addressing the gun-totin bad-a**, he decided to move out of the shadows and sit on the railing from the walkway, his feet dangling over the edge. "You know lady," he said, "you really shoulda came in here with a more positive appearance...now you've gone and got everyone thinking you're a threat." He grinned, his fangs just peeking from his upper lip, and his tail twitched. He may have looked calm and such on the outside, but if things did get alittle........hostile, he was ready and had already devised a way to get to her and at least get one of those guns away from her. His ears twisted and his feet kicked playfully, watching and waiting to see what the gunwoman was going to do next.

"Your husband? >> Oh then that would make you Phia?" the man asked, chuckling the entire time.
The boy let himself be lead into the mansion and taken to Draeken's whereabouts. He wouldn't have had a chance of getting around such a large mansion. He was surprised someone hadn't tried to shoot it yet. Regardless, he hardly seemed hostile, even skipping from place to place, looking around the mansion.

She turned into the study that D was in, walking over to him, an arm curling around his waist from behind. "Love there's someone 'ere to speak with ye..."

Focht strolled up towards D's Mansion, not really in any rush, a tattered and worn black scarf around his neck, a patch still covered his right eye. Those that didn't know him would only think to describe him as a Kitsune dressed in black clothing that had been well traveled in. The Dojo wasn't worth visiting from what he could tell. The only other place he could think of was here or the forest, but waiting in the forest wasn't the best option. Maybe he would find answers here, still feeling uneasy about what happened last time he was in the area. About the time he reached the doors, he figured leaving a note was best since time was running short on taking care of a few other things. Pulling out a piece of paper and pen, he hastily scribbled a note to leave for D: Quote: D, I hope that things haven't gotten too bad while I have been away. I had wanted to talk to you to get the details of what I have missed but I must attend to some business. I will try to return soon. Focht Folding up the note carefully and muttering something under his breath, casting a small but effective spell on the note. Handing the note to one of the workers in the masion and asking that it be delivered to D or Phia, pointing out that opening it wouldn't be a good idea, Focht sighed and headed back down the road. The spell wouldn't do much besides keep the note shut until either Phia or D touched it. With him, it had just become habit when leaving a note for someone and since there were many people here whose scents he didn't recognize, it seemed best he didn't stick around.

Draeken had, since Phia left the room, bent forward with his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands. He was deep in thought when Phia returned with the guest and for a moment remained silent and completely still before twitching and looking up when Phia touched him. "Oh. Excuse me for my being lost in thought. As I'm sure you've been told, I am Draeken and obviously since you have been brought here you are seeking an audience with me. So. Let's get down to business, I'm still trying to ponder over how to keep my ancestor's soul from being taken. And I'm almost starting to believe that another recent threat has gone dormant or silent altogether. I'll have to check on that soon....But I digress. On with it!"
He was aware that he was being a little rude, but he really was running low on patience anymore as of late. As a servant entered bearing a note for him, he grunted as he accepted it and opened it. "Pardon me for just a moment." He quickly read over the note and nodded. "Well, seems something is going well for once. Or at least I can hope so. I'll have to write a reply in a bit. Anyway, sorry again."

The stranger hardly seemed taken aback by the casual behavior; he wasn't really expecting a huge greetings. However, he couldn't help but be a little set off by D's openly telling him the situation. Then again, the man knew that D had other hidden powers.
"Actually, I came seeking an audience with you to offer you an audience with me." the man jested. "I heard the good old black company had been blown to bits and its people were en routed. Now I don't see why a good company of well known fighters should just suddenly die because some crack job has too much time, so I came to offer any help I can be in the coming fight. If nothing else, I can do manual labor like you've never seen!"
The stranger seemed rather genuine, and D would be able to sense no sinister intent by any form of telepathy. Whoever he was, he'd come to help.

Looking at the man intently, his eye half shut, Draeken sighed and sat back against the couch. "Alright. So you've come to help. What, other than manual labor, are you skilled at?" He shrugged and closed his eye for a moment after that then skipped back to the first statements that the man had made. "As for people having too much time and well known fighters dying...It cant be helped. This is a rather peaceful corner of the world for people like us to be residing in. In my ancestors times there were wars erupting all over the place, mostly because of human stupidity to be honest. There was always something to keep even the most sinister folks at bay seeing as how they had to fend for themselves half the time. But here, such sinister people are stagnating. They are given all the time in the world to amass armies and resources. To plot and scheme. It's not surprising the KB made such a move against the Dojo, forcing me to either let him have his way with it or destroy it. Also, I felt the BC needed a wake up call. But again, I digress. You, kind sir, have not told me your name."

"What else can I do? Well let's see,' was the man's quick response. "I don't exactly tend to look it, but I can fight something fierce, I'll tell ya that much. I get my training from all over the place, so I know my way around the block. But I do have one major specialty I guess, maybe two."
The man raised his arms up and brushed his hair back, almost posing with one foot almost off the ground.
"I'm hella good with chain type weapons, and," his hands snapped forward from behind his head and he snapped his fingers in a stylish manner. Two small flames now kindled over his hands. "I'm real savvy with fire."
Letting his flames hang for a moment, the man seemed to give a blink when his name was requested before answering: "My name? I honestly left that out? Well damn, I'm sorry. My name's Sigmund..... Sigmund Asbah Xiao L'etranger Lore Othreus Wickham Crescendo........ the thirteenth, I believe."
Sigmund just laughed at the introduction. His name was extensive and borderline ridiculous in length and mixed origin, but again D would sense no deception on part of the name.
