Orrin caught a blip on his sensors, opening his coms back up. "Kefka, I don't think this is wise. I'd rather not get into anything, and that includes if this is pirates."

He then switched back to Orrin.
"Well guess who decided to talk? Look here, those are TIE fighters, no doubt about it, check your systems. Since when do pirates use TIEs? It's just not a good pirate ship. Maybe an ugly, but never a TIE by itself. It's impractical for a pirate. And if there are TIEs here, then that means there's an Imperial cruiser somewhere near. If this is the scout party, then there's too things we can do. Either let them here and report us, and then get our asses whipped up before we even get to Hoth, or we take them out and hopefully their commanders will think they got sucked into the nebula."

"Its a blip. That means nothing on confirmation. Have you seen them? No. It could be anything. And If there is an Imperial crusier nearby, I don't want to have to fight it. Unlike you, I want to stay alive." Orrin Commed back. "One damn squadron of fighters is not enough firepower to keep us alive. Say it is a damn TIE squadron, what then? You blast them, you alert the entire imperial fleet nearby. If they go into the Nebula, their commanders still have audio contact with them. If they don't report in, we're screwed, and that's not even accounting for the possiblity that they don't report in before being blown to smithereens. That's even if they're Imperials. Don't let your imagination run away with you. Or at least think things through half a tick."

Azure flew into formation with Stardust. "No matter what they are, we should still be ready to fight." she said as she locked s-foils in attack position.
