 Grateful for the solitude, Amelia curled up on her side, staring at the lake. By now she'd heard rumors of monsters and mermaids within its depth. She could reach out, and barely run her fingers along the still surface, breaking the serenity. It didn't look evil, but through its waters she couldn't sense anything. There were the small plants at the surface, but nothing large or humanoid, as she would assume a mermaid to be. Drawing her hand back, she watched as the surface slowly calmed once more into stillness.

Amelia Frances
 Noticing the sun was disappearing slowly, leaving only echos of its lingering light behind, Amelia stood slowly. Her question when curfew was, had never been answered, but she was sure by the time it grew dark was too late. Amelia carefully made her way back to the castle. She wasn't tired, merely calm. It was doubtful she'd meet a Professor on her way back to the common room, so she wasn't going to be expelled tonight. She'd worry about it tomorrow.

 A loud cracking sound was heard, mere moments after Daemon had emerged from the shadows. Cloud stepped through the gates briskly, turning to shut them. They made a loud creaking sound, ear-rattling enough to wake the whole castle. Cloud smirked, then turned and sped up, just enough to catch up to his side. Her dark robes and cloak bore no blood, but sported long rips and tears that were mended crudely. All along her body were deep cuts and scratches, which looked like they had been closed up painfully. Her nails were dark and sharp, and there was a hollowness in her eyes.

Annette had been going out for her evening run, where she would finally get some relaxation from grading and doing what teachers are supposed to do - Work. Just as she was going down the steps of the Castle front doors, she noticed a figure - One she had seen before. It was Cloud. She tilted her head, recalling that Cloud had come to class once, and then didn't come back. Maybe she dropped the class. Well, what ever the case, she thought maybe it would be a good idea to talk to her. Before she set out on her run, the professor decided to go to Cloud first. "Hello, Miss. Cloud. How have you-" As she approached Cloud, she noticed the tares and rips on her clothing. Not only did she see the rips and tares, but briefly did she see a few cuts. They were more like gouges in her skin. Her eyes widened, and she gazed at her for a moment. "Cloud, I do not want to get into your business, but I think you should have some of those cuts checked out by the nurse." She really didn't feel like angering a student, so she added very delicately "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. I know you haven't been to class, and you've missed a lot, but please, don't get anymore... hurt than you already are." Annette was curious. If Cloud was hiding something, she would surely have to tell the headmistress, but then again, she didn't want Cloud to get angry with her. Still, it was Annettes responsibility as a professor to keep everyone safe, even if that meant telling the headmistress what she saw tonight.

Cloud turned at the sound of a voice, and halted abruptly. Her dark eyes focused on the woman, and she bared her sharpened, jagged teeth as she spoke.
I don't need help.
She turned swiftly, and continued to follow Daemon. She put an arm around him as he limped.

Ghaleon Elmerast, Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Ghaleon arrived outside the castle with his hand locked together with Rose's. They came out to try and see if they could figure out who if anyone was the groundskeeper. As they knew the castle much have someone looking after the basic landscaping but so far had been unable to see who it was. They never appeared to eat in the great hall, also rather certain they'd never herd the person mentioned even once. They were outside hoping to find a professor to question or even some random clue as to where the mystery groundskeeper was.
Unfortunately at the moment the grounds of Hogwarts seemed to be rather barren of other people. "Well seems like questioning a professor is out at the moment." Ghaleon said as he gave Rose a somewhat disappointed grin.
