Lillian heard something whining, crying outside the door like a wounded animal. She opened it up and saw Rose curled up, her hands red and her whole body shaking.
"Rose!" She exclaimed. She lifted the girl up and supported her into the room, gently putting her down on the soft armchair across from her desk. She didn't sit behind the desk but kneeled in front of Rose, looking up at her.

"What happened?" She asked, shutting the door with a flick of her wand. She knew Rose could fall apart without too much effort, but had known her to be a pretty stable and happy girl. One of the last people she would've thought would be here was Rose, at least crying anyways. It must've taken a lot to get her in this state.

Lillian stood up and sat behind her desk looking at Rose with concern. She wasn't sure what to say. But she had a hunch about who Rose was talking about. First she waved her wand and pointed them at each of her fingers in turn, healing them instantly with Episkey. It worked on fingers, toes, noses, that type of thing. Then she sighed and looked down at the papers scattered on her desk.
"Was she a Slytherin with a cold glare, 14, black hair, who looks wicked no matter the expression?"

Rhiannon. Lillian had been around for a while, picked things up. She wasn't positive, but fairly certain Rhiannon had done...something...some dark arts to get her the way she was. She didn't know how, since only Rhi, her father, mother, and boyfriend really knew about it. Only people who were close to Rhi knew about the unicorn blood, so Lillian had no idea. But Lillian did know that it wasn't a natural evil or darkness that seemed to posses that girl. She'd done..something. She wasn't a werewolf, a vampire, part troll, nothing like that. She'd actually been researching it a bit, since she was curious herself. But being headmistress, she did know about Rhi's father being imprisoned, and how the ministry was looking for Rhi, and how she now wasn't looking forward to telling Rose what she had to say.

"Because I know Rhiannon." Lillian said simply. "I know her story anyways." She looked up at Rose feeling horribly guilty.
"Her father was a death eater and has recently been imprisoned in Azkaban. He's done plenty of terrible stuff in the muggle world too. He hunts muggles for sport, he's a cruel, vicious, violent man. Much like how that Desdemona woman was last year."
Lillian didn't really know Rhi's father on a personal basis, she's always hated and avoided the dark arts. But from what she'd heard about the secluded, isolated family, none of it was good stuff.
"I can't expell her, though." She sighed, looking down at her desk again, keeping a calm face when she was raging inside that this had happened.
"No matter what she's done, I can't. Rhiannon is being hunted down by the ministry. She was her father's partner in his more recent crimes. They want to throw her into a cell in Azkaban as well. But since Hogwarts is so outspoken against the Dark Arts, this school is the only thing keeping her from prison. She can't leave here. If she graduates here, the ministry will leave her alone until she picks up her old ways. But for now she has to stay here, or die. I doubt she'd live in Azkaban for very long as a 14-year-old child. I don't think I could expell her, knowing that if I did I'd be sending her to her death. I'm giving her a chance to improve, to change. I don't know, even doubt, that she will. But it's that or the dementors kiss for what she's done."
She looked up at Rose.
"She hasn't just been cruel Rose, and you aren't her first victim. This girl is a murderer's accomplise, she doesn't just threaten. She will follow through on what she says. I don't want you to tell anyone this. Not a soul, not a word to anyone else. If she dislikes you now, then you're already her target. Avoid her at all costs."
