The gaggle of individuals set off at a sprint towards their ships, tails tucked between their legs…how very disappointing.
About her ankles the trailing edge of her coat wavered in the breeze. Idly her long digits reached down to touch the array of A/M (Anti-matter) explosives set against her thigh.

Silently her mind focused inwardly on remaining invisible, cloaked by her Spiridon genetics. All it would take was a few strides to be in reach of the Doctor…but Issildia had other plans as she watched the flock of frightened humans and their alien overseers dash away from this so called explosive. Again the woman pulled forth a small glassy disk from the inner pocket of her coat. The device looked like a translucent circle of darkened glass that glittered enigmatically in the light.
“Scan for combustive elements, depth 5.5 karths.” She intoned softly.
The mechanism immediately whirred into life with a soft hum as its surface became illuminated with back lit script along with an image of the immediate area. The illustration drawn out in clean azure lines included the miniscule figures of the retreating Time Lords and their company along with the lone image of Issildia at the center of the screen. Her figure was marked in a bold red, the device marking her own collection of combustive weapons while scanning the rest of the area for similar items that the Rani had claimed to activate. A gentle beep indicated the completion of the scan, and not a single item was located. Stowing the scanner back inside her inner pocket the woman allowed the invisibility cloaking her to subside, her body becoming clearly visible.
“Yes Doctor.” She whispered as her fingertips removed one of the crescent shaped A/M explosives from its holster, the device whirring into life as she activated the internal fuse with the press of a small node on its surface.
“Time to run”Did she intend to kill him…no, merely keep up the illusion that the Rani had indeed planted a bomb. Better that the Doctor run, separate him from those like the Time Lady who might make Issildia’s mission all the more difficult.
So she would let him run…far away until he was naught but a flicker of light in the dark…alone, and easy prey.
With a flick of her wrist the crescent shaped half disk of silver metal was sent thundering towards the ground where it would detonate. The anti matter atom core making contact with the matter of the metal casing surrounding it. This would cause a severe reaction as the positive and negative electrons reacted to cause a deadly blast of explosive energy.
Moving at a fluid gait Issildia deserted the soon to be blast radius , her ebony locks swaying in the wind as the explosive impacted the earth, sending out a brutal shockwave that would cause anyone within ninety yards to be sent off their feet. Within the seventy foot blast zone, the earth had been turned to simmering embers and smoking ash.
