yeah lets just say that to start off i was doing land nav and got stuck wait deep in mud. then the temp dropped to 28 degrees. i went to bed at two the first night and was nice and warm in my sleeping bag only to be forced out of it at five in the morning and to find the temp had dropped to around 20 degrees. then i had to put my boots on which had ice in and on them. that was after my feet were numb. then we got to march to where the simulators were. that was ok only i got the boring job out of the group when i got stuck driving. still it was not bad. later we marched over to the hanger where we spent the night. (much better then the first night.) then i found my wallet was missing. it was found by one of the ms4s who gave it to me today. i also had to do watch that night when it was 25 degrees outside. (thank god we were in a hanger) the next day was ok. we got to go shoot an m16 but for some reason my body was so tense and i was shaking that i shot like crap. oh and to top it off aside from one meal the whole time that i was on ftx i was stuck eating good top of the line army chow (MREs)

to explain the mud. it was night land nav. i was going up a hill and i was in the center of the road. i had passed a lot of the muddy parts and i thought ok well it cant be worse then that. so in the dark im walking and i step on a tree across the road and in my next step i just sunk. i was literally standing in mud up to my waist and the only solid thing to grab onto was the tree. i couldnt move my feet at all. my partner tried to pull me out and he couldnt so i had to grab on to the tree pull myself part way out and then he pulled me the rest of the way.

Wow, that DOES sound like you had a rough weekend. Well, hopefully your week is better than that. And hopefully you don't end up stuck in any mud again either xd

I think it would be really cool. The only thing is the star wars universe is sooooooooo vast. You would have to limit how many planets were in it, figure out power systems for each rank of jedi/sith/bounty hunter/etc. Good thing is they've already created a rank system that you can use for jedi/sith. It would take extensive work, but it would be really cool.

i think i would do it to mirror the old republic game and maybe throw in a few planets from knights of the old republic one and two.

i think that i would use the most part classes of the old republic to be a base for classes i would use. then i would you a dice roll to make a choice of what you are in those classes. for instance if you used a jedi class it would be 1 and 2 would be a strong physical, 5 and 6 would be more of a force user, while 3 and 4 would be more of a balance.

It's certainly worth trying. Although, I think people would be more able to pick their own type of jedi/sith. I mean it's like Naruto basically, Taijutsu user, ninjutsu user, or just a mild balance of both. People tend to often pick one they like, so maybe a dice roll isn't needed.

the roll is not need but this would also make it more random and also make people work with what they are given. it may not be their top choice but i think it would make it more interesting to role-play with.
