{In honor of the Mistah....bomchickawahwah}

Natsu had been trying to find a way to occupy himself as he waited for Itsuki to return. He was currently upside down, holding himself up wit two fingers on each hand. Slowly, he extended his arms until they hit a locked position. He had intended to hold that pose for a bit, but was distracted when the door to the facility opened. His first view of Antissa was her legs, due to his position. Slowly, he lifted his gaze up, and stopped as he noticed her hair wasn't the only thing bouncing. Natsu merely blinked, and stared, not noticing himself falling forward. Before he knew it, his face smashed into the ground, followed by his body flipping over him. Immediately, he jumped up, glancing around to see if anyone had actually seen that. His cheeks were red with embarrassment as he did so. What a great way to introduce himself to the new set of....well the girl. His heart was still aching from Alkaid, who had left him without even a goodbye. But, despite that, he couldn't help feel attracted, it was in his nature. Natsu stopped himself before he did something else stupid, and actually thought for once. He imagined his sister Suki, and pictured what she'd say. His eyes closed in his moment of focus. *SMACK!* "Keep your eyes off her boobs! Don't drool! Wash behind your ears!" The imagined smack had actually made him reel backward, though he rocked on his heels and stopped himself from falling once more.

Natsu cleared his throat and fixed his hair, of course to no avail, and walked over to Antissa with as much 'swagger' as he could muster. He stopped before her desk, and smiled nicely before speaking. "Excuse me, but do you know how much a polar bear weighs?" He had an innocently curious look about him as he spoke. Now that he was closer, he caught a better sense of the girl, as well as a better look. She had a cute air about her, making him believe she was younger than he. Of course, her disproportionate chest made it seem as if she was older.

Natsu was a tall guy, and muscular as well. He wore two weights on his arms, clearly visible, and marked with the number '15'. He had on a vest, and no under shirt. Natsu's pants went down to his calves, and cut off, and he wore the regular sandals. His smile would reveal slight fangs rather than normal canine teeth other humans had. His eyes were pitch black, and his hair was...pink. Another thing that stuck out was his scarf. Despite the warm temperature, Natsu had on a white scarf, that did not seem to be made of cotton or any other material gained from the normal animals.

In the background, Happy, Natsu's small blue cat, smacked his forehead, and shook his head.

{I think I found a rival for Jade!}

Zin Naga
User Image

Naga 'Demi-Prince' - 'Jounin' - Naga Clan Head - Taijutsu Master - Legend of Shuntensatsu

After a while, Zin was starting to get used to the Kage way of keeping a straight face. it may just be an assumption, but it may just be their way of keeping biased and not letting the first emotions that they feel scream out. Zin may take this trait to heart and apply to his ways of Shukuchi to keep his talent of keeping people from seeing his emotions even further clouded in the mist. Upon hearing her voice, casual yet affirmative in each word, Zin couldn't help but to keep his attention fully on the woman and listen to every syllable she released from her lips. Retaining and collecting the sentences in his mind then further breaking them down for analysis to force himself to over understand the sentences she made. Upon hearing the comment, Zin smiled lightly as the child bowed genuinely,"Dui... Xie Xie, Hokage-sempai." He thanked her as he rose back up to the perfect stature that a person should hold when they are seated as Zin continued," It should be in the Shinobi's will to give as much information during a debriefing as they can recollect. For any information can hold or bare usage to the village or the person that you are relaying the information too." Zin had been around more ANBU than most children could ever say at his age, and learned how informative and over the top they were with information they give. In fact, he remembered one day when he hanged out with Matsuya, an ANBU give him a folder that Zin could easily say at least held four of five fully informative documents off of one mission that didn't last nothing more than a day. It was then that Zin changed his methods and always put his full and entire effort into his work; when he went to the Chuunin exams, Zin studied every single Clan and Bloodline that the library held in the public archives and created charts on their strengths and weaknesses. Before he left for the Chuunin Exams, Zin wrote endless pages of notes mixed in with his father's notes to create a perfect understanding of chakra, chakra control and the chakra system within the body and how to strengthen it. It is because of his will to over achieve that Zin was so confident in his abilities and with all the hard work he put into it he darn sure was going to flaunt his pride; let those know that the Demi-Prince will indeed take over what his father left off.

As Itsuki continued, Zin kept his intensive listening as the child somewhat mimicked the face he had to face during his own speech towards the other. Blank, with those slitted eyes that kept locked onto the Hokage's own showed the intensity that he took from every word she spoke during her comments. Though, he wasn't too happy with being on equal grounds with the Mizukage, the child was at least glad she would look at the situation as the two being simple humans; nothing more, nothing less. For Zin to be called something so degrading as a human bothered the child slightly, as he knew his grandfather would simply gawk at the idea of the child of being something so low, but he took it in stride as the woman meant it in all fairness; if he could recall from the many articles he's read during his extensive stay in the library, Zin could conclude that her judging style was the perfect example of the blinded judge who holds the weights of justice. " I understand... That indeed seems like the fairest manner to take this situation." The child said politely, face keeping it's emotionless state with perfection, as Zin would just let what happened-happen. But in the event that he becomes threatened, unlike before, Zin would let the coils around Konoha wound back up, as the dark flames that he held for the place still resonated within the child strongly; only suppressed by the kindness of Matsuya and this woman before him who seemed to be attempting to change the ways of the past.

As the points of her interest from his debriefing continued, Zin couldn't help but to feel somewhat slightly offended by yet another person criticizing him on moving ahead of the squad. The child should not have to wait a whole day for a squad to come to their required post. For Zin had other things in his life to do, than to baby such children who were possibly older than he. Natsu is a competent fighter which he trained himself and took as his student, and though he wouldn't dare speak a word about that to the Itsuki he was confident that he at least could handle himself due to personal viewing. Yet despite that, Zin had placed markers to watch over them as they passed through, it wasn't like he left them completely unattended! Then in his defense, would it not be just as worse, if a village requires their dire need and help and they come late to needing village's aid in which the situation has become worse? Making the village look bad, the ties with the other village be fractured because of tardiness and ultimately the problem worsened due to the lack of help and tardiness. He had yet heard someone take that side of the spectrum of his reasoning for moving forth but he was glad that at least Itsuki somewhat touched on his view when he was 'talking' to Itsuki; not the Hokage. It intrigued him somewhat to see her step outside of the realm of the robe, and speak to him real like a wise shinobi of the world. Zin truly took the words of the shinobi side of Itsuki to heart, keeping this enlightenment to thought before listening and retaining once more as she returned to the authoritative yet 'casual' Hokage set of un-biased mind set.

Though, Zin was quite elated to hear a compliment to his battle tactics. He wasn't expecting much especially since he spoke on the clash once more with the Mizukage during the latter portion of his strategy but in all.. he was still quite elated to gain a compliment. Though it was unfortunate that she didn't recall any knowledge of the ANBU operative that he spoke of earlier, truly wishing to gain some more enlightenment from the man as even though Zin saw no darkness in his soul; he could still at the same time gain knowledge from this skilled shinobi of the mist. The following sentences after speaking about the mysterious ANBU once more caught the child off guard, as he truly wasn't expecting her to put a promotion upon the table but Zin showed not a lick of change upon his youthful face. It was easier to do than one would think when you hold Zin's mentality and didn't even require his ability of suppression as the child already held said ranking. Through Matsuya's paper, Zin was technically already holding the rank of a Jounin and didn't need further approval despite the ruling possibly being retro. For even if it was, the child had already begun to step up his training of that of the ANBU he witnessed during his youth; training as hard as he could, extending his chakra reserves with the knowledge he held about chakra and it's mechanics, learning as much knowledge as his mind could within short time frames and then reiterating on the subject to lock the information into his mind , as well as gathering as much information on jutsu's and techniques as he could before the day of Armageddon begins. The kindness and the hand that he saw Itsuki was reaching out for him was indeed duly noted and acknowledged but Zin's mind was set since the day he returned to the land of his father, since the time those shinobi falsely claimed that they hailed from a fallen sacred village, and further since the time that another shinobi ripped the glory that should have been in his birthright. The blood of the infidels was already painted on Zin's blade, kunai, and fists; his fangs already had injected them with his poison and after the return of this mission Zin was further pushed to make the dream that he held come true; the darkness in Zin was already set, but as said... her kindness and attempt to reach out to him was duly acknowledged. The coils he once held around Konoha had diminished. His sword would not be pointed to them in the least but he couldn't help but to say that things could change quite quickly as the child has not forgotten the pain of the years that plagued him.

Once more to give the Kage her due respect, Zin rather for the first time gave a true bow as he spoke,"Xie Xie, for at least thinking of bestowing me the opportunity of a promotion, Hokage-sempai. Indeed if I am blessed to get such an honor I will be sure to hold the torch of the Will of Fire proudly in my spirit." Zin didn't mean those words totally but he wouldn't let anything happen to Konoha during the time he hosted in it; especially if he indeed gained said promotion. Though Zin wouldn't protect the elders of the village even if it were his mission, the Naga Prince would indeed provide his services to protecting the citizen's of Konoha from outside terrorist that may decide to waltz into his village. Zin knew it wouldn't be of the best interest during his stay if he put too much attention to himself because he's not being supportive to the growth of the village; it would be far too hard for him to work in the shadows and prepare for the war he was about to ensue.

Lifting back up, Zin noticed the change in position in the Hokage's way of sitting and saw it being more casual which rather flowed more with the questions she gave to him afterwords. Zin could tell that the bulk of the serious things have been said, and now they we speaking on a truly more casual yet still quite formal setting. The child couldn't help but to giggle somewhat to this small notice of change he caught his Kage in before thinking about the question and just speaking. Swaying his feet a bit childishly as he thought, Zin placed his over-sleeved hand to support his chin as Zin tried to analyze the flow of the mission before looking up and sitting up straight once more,"Well... The mission most definitely was not a waste of time. As an ally, it is our duty to help when in need to keep the bonds of our partnership strong. Otherwise, the partnership between the two countries will look more and more like just a piece of paper that ties them together. As far as the squad, I think it was good to send a three-man cell comprised of Genin. It gives those of lower rank actual field and battle experience, while giving the leader the experience to learn," Zin said, ensuring her that he heeded the comments she made about some of his choices," and to lead a squadron in the heat of battle. Plus, this may prove beneficial to the Genin when the Chuunin Exams come up. Any higher shinobi would have been over doing the situation. I believe in the situation that we were given at max, I think that two Chuunin at the highest three could take on the mission with relative ease." After taking a pause to reflect Zin nodded to himself as if confirming something before speaking,"I believe that is all I can say when it comes to the mission." The child stated as he awaited any more comments from the Itsuki or to see if that last ponder of questions was the start of the conclusion to the meeting.

Hiniko finally made her way into the academy. She looked really tired and shallow, paper white almost. She looked small from her lack of doing anything. She had been in a coma for almost a year now. She looked tired and pissed at whatever it was that had put her in the hospital. She also looked shocked. Everything seemed bright and new to her. She paused suddenly as she saw Zin and blinked a few times. Did he know what had happened to her? Did he even care? she was so weak after all and she wasn't reliable at all. She couldn't even bring herself to speak, tears filled her eyes but they refused to fall and she wouldn't let them. How long until this killed her? How long until she could get revenge for the people who did this to her? She looked between the two people here and said nothing her eyes dull as she tried to comprehend a thought long enough to do something, or say something.

Suki came in, scanned the area, and found her brother. "Aniki! There you are. You'll never guess what I found." She approached him, but quickly stopped. Snake boy... she grimiced, but this was too important to not tell Natsu. At least Itsuki-sensei was here keeping him pre-occupied. She pulled out a book that must have been three thousand pages long out of her messenger bag. "Aniki, I found it. I found Mom's notes. She wasn't just a Tanabata, not just a genjutsu user. When I went back to see if there was any more jutsu I could call 'hand-me-downs', I found out something: she could use seals to manipulate all kinds of things. Like the density of a table or the contents this book for instance. I got maybe half the library's worth of info in storage seals in this thing. But... for me to go any farther, I'ma need help. Stuff like communication and barriers... I can't know that they'll work effectively just using it on myself." She had a grin on her face, one she hadn't had since she was maybe two or three. It wasn't hollow or faked. It was legit happiness from her quest for knowledge and the improvement to herself and those she could help. She wasn't even mad or angry to ask for his help. She's changed slightly and wasn't as isolated. She was still arrogant, but she was accepting.

It was then she noticed the weights. She poked them a few times, then shrugged, going back to her half-puppy dog eyed stare. Natsu trying to push himself beyond what the normal body is allowed. That was nothing new.

Natsu could smell her a mile away. It wasn't that Suki had bad body odor or anything, merely that he had grown up with her, even raising her at some points. He was happy she decided to come back, now he could keep a close eye on her. Before Natsu could even reply, Happy came flying over, and clutched onto Suki's neck, burying his face on her. "I've missed you so much Suki-chan! Natsu's been a total idiot without y-" Natsu yanked on Happy's tail, with a look of terror on his face. Despite Suki's size, lack of physical strength, and age, she was the only person who was allowed to put a hurtin' on Natsu.

At the mention of his mother's notes, his heart tightened, though he saved the pain from his face. The memory of his failure would forever hang over his head. When Suki finished speaking, Natsu knitted his eyebrows and folded his arms across his chest. This was his fatherly look, something that asserted his role as the leading male in the family, as well as his dominance. Natsu rarely ever had to use it. "Suki-chan..." He still had a habit of referring to her as a child. "I don't know if this is safe. What if something happens...What if I..." He trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence. This whole seal business was a dangerous and foreign thing to Natsu.

Suki shook her head. "You won't. All you need to do is do what you do best. It's really not hard at all. Now, hold still." She pulled out something that looked like a small paintbrush from the book she was carrying and drew a small star behind Natsu's ear. She then applied a small amount of chakra to it, and stepped back. She turned around and muttered "Can you hear me?"

The seal was for a Radio seal, meant for communication between the sealer and the sealed. He should have been able to hear her perfectly if she'd done it correctly. Any errors would have lead to static fdor a moment, then a seal cancel.

Natsu grimaced, despite her reassurance. He held still for her, allowing her to test her little project. When he could hear her loud and clear, Natsu blinked once. "Uh...yeah. Does this go both ways?" He asked, speaking low as well.

Suki spun around, nodding. She wasn't grinning. She was beaming. "Yep. Cool." She eyed the weights again. "Idea..." She placed the book in her bag and pulled out two slips of paper. On each she etched a seal with her brush. "Let's see... it should work something like.... there." He glanced at the identical seals, then glanced back at Natsu.

Putting the brush away, she slapped the seals on Natsu's weights, then applied chakra. At first, she applied barely enough chakra to get the seals to activate, then applied more, bit by bit. This made the weights seem to weigh more due to the Gravity seals. Soon, the weights doubled. "How's that?" Who would have thought writing characters would do such a variety of things...

Natsu's hard 'dad mode' melted a bit as his sister's happiness. When she slapped on the seals to his weights, he exclaimed in protest. "Oi! Zin-sempai gave me these! Don't make them blow up!" He said, his devotion to Zin shown by his care of the weights. Natsu quickly picked up on the fact that the weights were only increasing, becoming heavier and heavier. It wasn't unbearable or anything, just something he'd have to get used to. He flexed his arm a few times, raising it as if he was pumping iron. "Huh...that's actually kind of cool..." He said, raising both arms above his head.

Suki nodded. "Figured they'd help..." For some reason, hearing they were from Zin didn't bother Suki. Actually, it made her inner demon smirk. She'd already put a plan in motion to act against Zin if he did anything... traitorous. For now, all she could do was build on her knowledge of seals. From her memory, she recalled another seal.

For the next seal, Suki drew blood via a kunai, and then mixed the ink within the mini brush with said blood, all the while swapping out tools and notes in her bag. It was like a bottomless pit filled with regents. She etched a seal on a slip of paper, then slapped it on the book she came in with, which bound the book from cover to cover. "Let's see if brute force bypasses this... here. Try to open this. The seal's a Security Seal meant to keep things closed for all minus the owner of the blood the seal's made from."

Natsu grunted as his form of answering and reached for the book. He figured they were close enough kin for this to be simple. So, rather than try, he simply tried opening it. Quickly, his temper grew, and he began to try and pry it open. Soon enough, Natsu was in a horse stance, muscles tensing to the extreme as he attempted to rip the damn book open.

Antissa Etalis

User Image
The Spirit is over town, waiting for me to hit the floor
Blooming white sky for the voice of one calling tonight

"Hm?"

Antissa's head rose for a mere moment. She had been awoken from her sleep by a voice, one of which was inquiring something. Brushing the sleep from her eyes, Antissa replayed the question back in her mind, thinking it over and trying to arrive at an answer that didn't make her sound like an idiot. But she had just woken up, what was this, quiz time? Well, she was in a classroom, but hey, who was she to care? Antissa was sleepy, so she would happily go back to sleep if she could just arrive at an answer for this individual next to her. Speaking of individual, she actually took a second to notice him. For that brief moment, she thought less of his question and more of his appearance.

He looked like some kind of street performer. Antissa's first idea of this guy was just that, with his billowing white pants, black vest and strangely decorated scarf, he could of done any type of performance. Not to mention he was muscular, and probably could of done any physical feat required of him. As Antissa studied him, she noticed the toothy grin. Canines protruded ever so slightly from his lips, hinting at the fact that he might be inhuman altogether. Nah, that couldn't be. Antissa thought he might be an Inuzuka, but she brushed the thought from her mind once she noticed the strange cat in the background, seemingly staring at the guy. Probably likes kitties... The thought didn't last long. She was beginning to stare, so she should probably just answer his question so she could get some sleep.

In the sweetest voice she knew, Antissa gave her honest guess at his riddle. "Umm... Maybe 500 pounds?" Lots of animals weighed that much, a lot of them weighed more, so was she really so wrong to guess such a heavy number? Antissa stretched her arms out, leaning over the desk as she propped her head against her folded arms. "Was that right, is it 500?" Antissa wondered if she had answered right, or at least close. She didn't want to sound dumb, but the question itself was really random.
The girl might not've had time to get an answer, because moments later, another girl barged in, grabbing the guy and taking his attention altogether.
Darn, guess I won't get to know, now. That's a bummer. With a sad look on her face, Antissa buried her tired eyes and puffed up cheeks under her folded arms, and tried to resume her nap. The noise that the two were making was loud enough to wake the dead, so there was no real chance that she'd fall asleep anytime soon. Maybe if she heard something that piqued her interest, she might just join them. Oh well...

Suki thought for a moment, then tapped the book, allowing the seal the null. She then recalled another seal formation that allowed for protection. "Let's try this." She quickly scribbled seals on three paper slips, then scanned the ground for good locations. Once found, she placed them in a triangle formation.

"Ok... Let's try this. Try to step in the sealed area. When the barrier comes up, try to knock it down. If you got any C ranked jutsu you can use, use them after you try your standard approach." She stepped out of the sealed zone, behind where the back wall would errect. If she'd done this properly, when he crossed the line, a pyramid barrier would errect. The only thing that would tear it down would be a C or higher attack. If she'd missed one centimeter's worth of ink on any of the seals, the barrier would just be for show and nothing else.

Konohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | Hokage

--clone--

Itsuki watched Zin with interest as she waited patiently for some sort of response to her inquires. Seeing the child swaying his feet back and forth while he pondered her question made Itsuki see to an extent just how young Zin was compared to most shinobi. 'Looking at him now, he can't be that much older than Tsuchigumo-san and she's already considered rather young for a Genin. Seems Konoha does contain a lot of youth with the potencial to rise to greatness.' As he spoke, Itsuki went silent once more as she took in his words. Stashing each word away like a treasure, Itsuki kept them locked up in the back of her mind so that she could reassess them tonight when she writes up the mission report.

Simply nodding her head in response when Zin finished, Itsuki was about to speak again when the sound of doors opening and closing and a loud ruckus began erupting from the room adjcent to theirs. In response to the sudden disturbance, Itsuki could only release a soft chuckle and shake her head in disbelief. Deciding that she got enough from Zin, Itsuki stood up and began tucking the chair back in. "Thank you Toijiro-san, you've more than provided me with enough info. I'm sure you're tired from your trip, take the day off and when you come see me tomorrow, I hope to present you with your own squad and a new mission as well." Heading towards the door, Itsuki slid it open with her right hand and just as she was about to step out of the room, she stopped and turned to flash a sincere smile at Zin. "You know you can call me Itsuki right? Hokage sounds to formal. And if you ever want to just come and 'chat', I'll be more than happy to. Anything to get away from the paperwork the elders assign me. See you around." Done talking, Itsuki returned her gaze forward and stepped out of the classroom leaving the door open for Zin to leave as well. Deciding to check out what all the ruckus was about, Itsuki turned towards her left and peaking in through the back door of the classroom, she spotted Natsu with Suki and another girl with light brown hair resting her head between her arms. Not wanting to disturb the scene before her, Itsuki just casually crossed her arm across her chest and leaned on the doorframe while waiting for any of the three shinobi to notice her.

{Sry for the lame post. Its late and I'm too tired to come up with something better.}
