Sere tried to relax but found that she just couldn't get her brain to calm down enough to let her. Instead, she tried to focus on Kasiya's battle with the trainer. Both of her pokemon looked so strong, and the battle looked as though it was evenly matched.
"She sure looks like she's been doing this a while eh, George?" She said to the pokemon who was now at her side. "I hope one day we'll get to be that strong."
"Marssh." George nodded. It was busy looking at the Marshstomp that he had met three days ago on the beach. Though they now looked the same, George could tell that Levi was a whole lot stronger. He wondered if he could get to that point eventually.
Both trainer and pokemon were surprised when bright lights surounded both of Kasiya's pokemon. "Look George! I think they are evolving!" Serenity said. She started bouncing up and down, excited for her new friend. 'Evolutions are so exciting!' she thought to her self. She looked down and George and found him looking curiously at the Swampert. 'It must be exciting for him to see what he'll eventually become. Or maybe it's scary, like thinking about being a doctor.' Sere shuddered.
George started to wander a little closer to the battle, just so he could get a better look. 'That's what I get to be like? I can definatly protect Sere if I get to be like that.' The pokemon was in awe of how strong the newly evolved form looked. He did a quick glance at the other pokemon that Levi's trainer had with her and noticed it had evolved into an even bigger plant. George started to back away. He had already learned that him and plants just didn't get a long.

Seeing that she was getting the go ahead Hera went over to Dante and stood behind him carefully guarding his back even on this boat. Maybe that Wailord would come back? Either way nothing else was gunna hurt her trainer for the rest of the trip not if she was there!
Standing up Dante gave Cynthia a look for a moment before a small frown appeared on his face. " This won't be my first time in Sinnoh." He started slowly. "Though really I didn't actually get to see anything over there, it was more of a meet and great?" He wasn't exactly sure on the terminology to use to describe his first trip over there. "Anyway, I met them and they met me then I was taken back. I have to make the official trip over there to actually secure my position but that is really only a formality." For a second he wondered if he should be telling her this but he quickly shrugged it off. The Sinnoh legendaries really did seem to like her over there so he figured he couldn't get into to much trouble. "Anyway for the short time that I was there they talked about you a little, of course I didn't realize it was you at the time so I didn't pay to much attention. They reminded me though and I put two and two together. Anyway they like you, just thought you should know." Dante trailed off in the end feeling a little bit embarrised. This was really the first time he had talked about his job to anyone. He hadn't really given Mitsu this much information and here he was giving it to practically a stranger!

Train blinked and glanced over when Brock congratulated her, then gave a small smile and muttered a small, ”Thanks.” that he definitely wouldn’t be able to hear. Oops. Thanking people tended to work better when they could actually hear it…oh, well.
”Ratta—ah, I mean—Raticate, don’t let that thing step on you!” Train yelled, stumbling over the name and feeling kind of dumb afterwards. Raticate darted between the Rhyhorn’s feet but its tail still got caught under the Ground- and Rock-type’s foot. Raticate let out a loud squeak and struggled to get its tail free. ”Raticate, stop struggling! You’ll pull your tail and only make it hurt more,” Train called to the Mouse Pokémon. ”Use another Bite to make it move!” Raticate opened his mouth wide and made to chomp down on Rhyhorn’s leg with it’s huge front teeth, hoping to free its tail from beneath the large Spikes Pokémon.+=+=+=+ Leon open his eyes and glanced at the clock. It was relatively late, but he supposed it was because he’d basically stayed up for two days straight. He pushed the covers back and slid out of the bed, eyeing the PokéBalls sitting on the nightstand. He went into the bathroom and changed back into his regular clothes, then took the red and white orbs and slipped them into a couple of the special pockets that were sewn into the inside of his coat. He shouldered his backpack and stepped out of the room, closing the locked door behind him before making his way to the exit of the Pokémon Center.
Once outside (and having dropped the room key off at the counter, of course) he released Ghos from his PokéBall and headed towards Route 102. Shortly after exiting the town, a small boy approached him, holding a PokéBall tightly in his hand. ”I challenge you to a battle!” The boy said immediately, staring intently at Leon.
Leon stared back at him for a moment before answering, ”Alright.” He motioned at Ghos with a small nod forward and the Ghost-type floated in front of him, also showing that Leon didn’t plan on moving and therefore the little boy was going to have to back up. ”Perhaps you could tell me your name before we begin…?” Leon look inquisitively at the boy, who went red with embarrassment.
”M-my name is Calvin!” The kid said, pressing the button on his PokéBall and releasing a rather determined looking Zigzagoon.
”My name’s Leon,” Leon said, even though the boy had forgotten to ask his name in return. ”You can go first.”

Though she was worried for the Cyndaquil, Riza didn't rush over to her side right away like she wanted to. Eris had to learn to tough it out. The smoke had almost cleared up completely now and Riza could see that Flareon had a hold of Diemia's claw, and no plans to let go any time soon. It reminded her of how the Corphish defeated Surge's Electrike earlier, and she smiled. "Diemia, point-blank Bubblebeam!" Needless to say the Corphish had no objections and raised up her free claw before letting the stream of bubbles fly. Even with the sand still lingering in her eyes she couldn't miss this time, and she let out a satisfied cry as the bubbles pelted the Flareon in a continual stream. More experienced or not, that was definitely going to hurt!
Jaden smirked a bit as he watched his Flareon get pelted by the Bubblebeam. 'That ought to cool him off a little,' he thought, though his real concern was Riza's Cyndaquil. After all, he had told his Pokemon to go easy. Heracross, while not normally one to back down, was looking at the Cyndaquil with a sort of apologetic expression. He hadn't meant to hit her that hard, honest! He took a step towards Eris, wanting to see if the little fire mouse was all right, but very suddenly Eris stopped crying and glared harshly at the mean old bug that had just attacked her.
"Eris?" Riza questioned, taking a step forward. The Cyndaquil's back had practically exploded with flames, and now the small Pokemon was standing perfectly still. Riza had no idea what was going on, as she hadn't been caring for the Cyndaquil for very long. Very suddenly the flames on Eris' back grew larger and larger until they practically swallowed her whole. This had caught the attention of both Flareon and Diemia, and even though they were still in a deadlock both were watching the fiery scene intently. Then, just like that a navy and tan coloured blur streaked out of the flames and smashed straight into the Heracross' stomach, forcing the beetle to stagger back for a second time. Eris then sped back to her starting position in front of Riza, throwing a grin over her shoulder at her trainer. Riza blinked a few times before she realized what had happened, and she clapped her hands, smiling happily at Eris, who was now a Quilava. 'I guess she was stronger than I gave her credit for,' she thought, glancing over towards where Ken and Crenu were battling for a moment before turning back to her Pokemon. "Have you girls had enough, or do you want to keep at it?" The response was overwhelming from both Eris and Diemia, even though she still fought to shake the Flareon from her claw. "That's what I like to hear!"
Jaden had raised an eyebrow when he saw the little Cyndaquil disappear into a ball of fire, and she had motored out of it so fast with a Quick Attack that it wasn't until she stopped again that he even realized she had evolved. 'Riza said she just acquired that one last night,' he thought, scratching his chin. 'I'll have to ask her again, I can't believe it's evolved already.' He looked to his own Pokemon, smiling when he saw Flareon's tail wagging. He knew the fox wasn't trying to hurt the Corphish and now he was just having fun with her, but he wasn't so sure about Heracross. Heracross had only landed that one hit but he had taken several more, and Jaden could see that he was starting to get frustrated with Eris. "Stick to the defensive," he called out to the bug. 'That Eris really is full of surprises!' * * * * * Katie hadn't managed to get very far, nor had she even heard the whooshing sound of the doors closing behind her when suddenly something rammed into her from behind, apologizing as it did so. Katie hit the ground hard and on a weird angle, and reflexively she had thrust out both arms to keep herself from smashing her face into the ground. She felt a jolt of pain shoot up through her palm and through her arm as well, and there was a bit of a ripping sound. Groaning, Katie pushed herself up to her knees, ignoring the pain in her arm as the ripping sound had been far more worrisome. She looked over to see the Floatzel from earlier offering a paw to help her up, and after a moment or so Katie accepted. The Floatzel wasn't much smaller than Katie, only by a head or so as the girl was rather short for her age. "Thanks, I'm okay," she muttered, wincing as her body began to register the pain from the fall, and she looked towards the blue haired girl that had knocked her over, mostly certain that she hadn't knocked her over on purpose. "Accidents happen." She forced out a small smile, even when she saw the tear that now decorated her skirt, as she knew it would be an easy fix. Good thing she always carried her sewing kit with her. "Um, are you okay?" she asked the blue haired girl hopefully. Accidentally causing injury to Crasher Wake's daughter wasn't on her to-do list for today.

Mia's eyes lit up at that forced smile, the light bulb flashing in her mind. Ahh . . yeah, the girl wasn't overly thrilled, but at least she wasn't pelting Mia with rocks or anything. Which, to the blue haired girl, was definitely a plus. She picked herself off the ground, not really bothering to dust the dirt off her clothing with the full intent of cleaning herself, she merely did it out of courtesy. A little dirt never hurt anyone! "I'm fine!" she replied cheerfully. There weren't too many scratches and if there was a wardrobe malfunction with her outfit, well ones that weren't already present before the fall, it didn't bother her now.
"I'm reaaaaaally sorry about your skirt though," she sighed, eying the tear in the pink fabric. Her tone was patronizing or slandering in any way, she just spoke with drawn out words. She was an oddball if you hadn't noticed yet.
Rhyme grunted, glad to have helped the girl out despite her size. She was much shorter than Mia, who was a most definitely tall for her age in comparison. What? Did you expect Crasher Wake's daughter to be short? Haha, of course not! Though she wasn't awkwardly tall and had the grace of her mother. Fortunately she received most of their best traits. "Thanks Rhyme," Mia said, smiling to the Floatzel. What would she do without the sane one in the bunch?

Riza couldn't help but stare at her newly evolved Quilava, as it was still only just sinking in. She knelt down and took her Pokedex from her pocket, eager to see what it had to say. 'Quilava's body is covered by nonflammable fur. It intimidates its foes by using its intense flames and bursts of superheated air. It applies its outstanding nimbleness to dodge attacks even while scorching its enemies with flames.' She looked over at Eris again, and smiled. She had been pretty quick before her evolution, and now she seemed to be even faster than before. 'I wonder if she'd get even faster if she decides to evolve into a Typhlosion,' she thought, looking to Diemia as the Corphish had finally managed to wrench her claw free from Flareon's death grip and was now shooting a merciless array of bubbles at the fox. Flareon was more than happy to keep out of the way, using its Quick Attack to evade all of the bubbles. Eris, meanwhile, was still staring down Heracross, looking more eager to attack than before, and Riza wondered if evolving had sparked a boost in her confidence level. 'Why wouldn't it?' the raven haired girl thought, still grinning. 'Look at her, she's so amazing!'
Jaden, meanwhile, was rather enjoying seeing his sister so happy and proud, and he knew then that sending her off on that ferry to Slateport had been the best thing he could have done for her, even though he hadn't known what would happen. But even with that whole fiasco with team Rocket going down and everything, he could see that she was starting to figure stuff out for herself. 'I'm proud of her,' he thought, watching as Eris sent an ember attack towards his Heracross, but Heracross deflected it easily by using Protect. He could see that this ember was much stronger than the one from before, and it was easy to see that with some training, Eris would be a valuable member of Riza's team. * * * * * "Don't worry about it, it's an easy fix," Katie answered quickly, also brushing the dust from her skirt, some of it left over from her previous excursion. She couldn't help but cringe inside at how rough the girl's clothes looked, and she silently wondered if she cared even a little bit about her appearance. The orange in her outfit really wasn't working too well with that blue hair, and she was already picturing what she would look like with cooler colour tones in her clothing, and her hair down....
Katie blinked and snapped out of her daydream, though it took a few moments for the daydreamy look in her eyes to fade as she adjusted her bag on her shoulder, glad the throbbing in her arm was starting to recede. She carefully eyed the girl one more time, her expression fairly neutral. "I know who you are," she said astutely. "You're Crasher Wake's daughter, aren't you?" It was really more a statement than a question, as she really just wanted to confirm what she had overheard earlier instead of just jumping to conclusions.

There was a bit of scattered applause below him, and Pan looked down to his adoring(?) public, idly wondering if he should give them another show. He didn't know what else to do though, as the other Wingull in the area were quite obviously staying away from him. The cheeky Treecko did a bit of a twirl atop his flagpole perch and looked down, carefully eying the crowd below them. They were starting to thin out a bit, as now that the Treecko really was just showing off, none of them really cared all that much. Pan huffed and folded his arms, glaring down at them angrily. He didn't need them! He didn't need any of them! But then, his eyes came to rest on the familiar yellow and black-striped boy he'd seen on TV before, followed by the lovely female Treecko he'd seen as well. The gecko's eyes went wide, and he hoped with all his might that she'd seen him take out that flying menace. Slicking back the nonexistent hair on his head he quickly clambered down the flagpole, leaping off when he was about two thirds of the way down and landing deftly on the bald head of a rather large man wearing a particularly loud Hawaiian shirt. From there, it was a quick jump to some woman's convenient, wide-brimmed hat and after snatching up one of the fake flowers decorating it, it was a short hop directly onto Kilik's unoccupied shoulder. He thought it was the cutest thing that Treecko was acting so shy, and he boldly announced his presence and offered the flower to his new-found love, hoping she would accept it. ===== More fear flooded Miharu's veins like ice water as she watched her helpless Metang rocketed into the sky by Chuck's Primeape. Tingle, while not her most reliable Pokemon, was one of her strongest, and seeing it weakened and confused, and at the mercy of the Gym Leader's Pokemon did not weigh lightly on her mind. She wanted to close her eyes and look away, but she felt compelled to keep watching, even as Tingle's ascent came to a stop and it would now begin its plummet towards the ground. Just then, a sort of epiphany shot through the girl's mind as she came to the realization that Tingle's special ability, Clear Body, prevented the reduction of stats, like defense. Tingle was only in more danger of damaging itself if it actually was confused. Either way, Miharu knew she had to try to get through to the Metang. "Tingle! Aerial Ace!" she called. At first, she thought her command had gone unnoticed but after a moment she saw the glimmer of concentration in Tingle's eyes. It now had the Primeape in its sights, and was honing in on it, both sets of claws ready to strike.
Chuck had suddenly come to a realization as well, though it wasn't about the Metang being immune to stat reductions. He was only aware of the fact that Aerial Ace would not miss, and that at this particular moment, at least, the Metang was seeing perfectly straight. He grit his teeth as the silvery, steel Pokemon sped towards Primeape like a comet, using the momentum from the fall to fuel the attack. Primeape screeched loudly as the attack tore into him, unable to do anything but flail around and eventually back off once the attack ended. "Don't just stand there!" Chuck barked, beginning to see that this challenger was for real. "Get in there and strike back with a Brick Break!" He knew that Tingle had been hurt by the previous throw, but not nearly enough for his liking. Primeape, still shrieking from a mixture of pain and anger rushed forward, both fists glowing bright as it jumped up and slammed them down on the smooth surface of the Metang's head, the blow so heavy it sent Tingle into the grass once more.

He stumbled slightly when the other Treecko landed on his shoulder, but couldn't help but laugh. As the flower was passed in front of his face, the boy looked over to the male Treecko and then to his own. The flirty side of him makes me think he belongs to Mike, but there's no way Mike's here, he thought, and the only other flirty person I know is Keegan, and I don't even know him that well. Then again, it is entirely possible that he belongs to somebody I don't know. Sure hope I find out, soon. He slid his hands into his pockets and looked up in the sky, pretending to ignore what was going on between the two Gecko Pokemon.
Treecko looked up for a moment to see the fake flower (yet truly had no idea that it was fake) and took it. The girl slid the stem between her eyes and smiled at Pan. Oh, he was quite dashing! Defeating such a brute of a bird, and even showing off a little more! He was very agile and figured it would have taken a master to jump all the way from the pole to Kilik's shoulder without breaking the poor boy! After all, she had no idea that he really jumped across three others which is even more impressive! "Treecko...Tree..." she blushed heavily again and buried her face into Kilik's neck once more.
"Say," he tapped his foot, "Mr. Treecko," as he decided to call the male, as to not even confuse himself with his own, "Where's your trainer? You're awfully strong, and I'd really like to meet whoever it is. Think you could take me to them?" He smiled at the Treecko, "If you do, I'll let you play with my little lady here." Kilik nodded to his other shoulder, "What do ya say? Worth it?"
That Kilik was always looking for another challenge! Surely he wanted to meet the trainer of this wonderful specimen of a Treecko, then make the two lovers battle to a bitter end! No, she couldn't do it! She wouldn't allow such misdeeds to occur! She'd never lay a hand on her newly-found heartthrob! She brought her head up, looking quite angred at her trainer, though he couldn't quite take her seriously with that flower on her face. With a light laugh, Kilik reassured his Treecko. "Don't worry. If I end up battling him, I'll do it as a one-on-one with Cable! That'd give you some quality time with Mr. Dashing over here." She kissed her trainer's cheek and nuzzled against his neck, blushing again. Oh, boys! How they got her heart aflutter, and she was barely a day old.

Pan made a happy sort of trilling noise when Treecko accepted his gift, and he had to admit that the pinkish colour of the plastic flower did bring out her beautiful, amber eyes. And again, with the blushing! She was too adorable. However, now that he'd actually found her he wasn't so sure what to do next. He looked over at the human as he spoke, uninterested, for the most part. Why did the human care so much about meeting his trainer? Compared to him, his trainer was unimpressive and very boring. In fact, Pan was certain the redhead was still very much asleep up in that boring room. It was so especially boring that he wasn't even sure of where it was anymore. He looked over at Kilik and shrugged. It seemed like a fair enough deal, but that didn't mean he had to go through with it right now!
Grinning impishly, the gecko took quickly reached over and took Treecko's hand in his. Hers felt so soft and delicate in his! Gently but firmly he pulled her with him as he jumped to the ground, pausing only to look up at Kilik for a second. "Treecko, treeckoo!" he said, nodding as though the human had understood him before he dashed off, his lovely lady Treecko in tow, grinning all the while. He knew the human would have trouble following the two speedy grass types, though it wasn't like he was planning on running off with her forever or anything, as the ship itself was fairly limited, and he did intend on fulfilling his end of the deal, even if it was to come at a later time. ===== Miharu winced at the Metang-shaped crater now decorating the ground as Tingle hovered back up, looking a little rattled. Its steel and psychic elements meant that it was neither weak nor resistant to fighting type attacks, but that Brick Break had looked as though it could have been a critical, and Miharu could see that Tingle was hurting. "Confusion," she said quickly, knowing that there was a good chance that Primeape had no attacks with range.
The Metang's eyes began to glow, and it continued to rise off the ground, the glowing aura surrounding its steely body before it launched the psychic attack, the force of it pushing Tingle back several feet. Miharu knew this had to be a good one if they wanted to win this match.
Not a psychic type attack, Chuck thought angrily, unable to do anything as Primeape was hit head on by the blast of psychic energy. It brought the Pig Monkey Pokemon to his knees, trembling, and after a few painful deep breaths he was able to get back up again. He didn't know how much more of this he could withstand!
"Brick Break worked before, and it's gonna work again! Go for it, Primeape!" Chuck shouted, punching the air as though he had something against the very air molecules that surrounded him. Primeape let out an enraged screech and raced forward, his fists glowing once again. He was going to throw everything he had into this strike, wanting nothing more than to bring the Metang down for good.

It was at this point that Riza began to realize that through the majority of their training match so far, Jaden had hardly issued any commands to either of his Pokemon. Both Flareon and Heracross were acting on their own most of the time, and Riza wondered if that was a result of all Jaden's training with them or them acting on instinct or a combination of both. She wasn't sure if she'd ever be comfortable enough with her Pokemon and herself as a trainer to allow them to make their own choices during a battle, but she imagined that it would be something she would learn over time. After all she hadn't been doing this for very long, and Jaden had nearly two years on her so it was to be expected. 'We'll get there,' she thought, looking to Eris and Diemia, and wondering if they were starting to get tired. They hadn't taken too many hits and had launched many more attacks than Jaden's Pokemon had, and she wondered how their stamina was holding out. Diemia seemed to be enjoying herself out there as she continued to fire her Bubblebeam at the agile Flareon, and Riza could see that her aim was getting better and that the technique seemed to have a bit more oomph behind it as well. Eris, on the other hand looked like she was eager to test out her speed as she was taunting Jaden's Heracross with her flames, daring him to attack her.
Jaden watched his younger sister curiously, trying to figure out what was going through her mind. Riza had always been tricky to read as her expression didn't always match up with her thoughts, but there was no mistake that she had come a long way in the short time she'd been away from home. She could be awfully selfish at times but so far he hadn't seen that side of her at all. He eyed the way the Quilava was taunting his Heracross, and he decided to grant her wish. "Okay Heracross, let's see if she can dodge your Fury Attack." As usual Jaden's voice was calm though there was a hint of amusement in his tone, and he wasn't surprised to see Heracross speed forward, as it seemed he was eager to teach the young Quilava a lesson. He glanced quickly at Flareon, deciding that the fox was fine for now as he was giving Riza's Corphish a very good workout.
Riza narrowed her eyes as she watched Diemia, who was now taking potshots at Flareon and definitely running out of steam. 'Diemia's moves are still so limited,' she thought, her glance shifting to Eris for a second as Jaden gave an actual order. 'Maybe it's time for some shopping later on.' "Eris, dodge!" she called, though she knew she really didn't need to. Heracross seemed pretty eager to make Eris work as well as he was quick to try and jab her repeatedly his horn. Eris stayed true to her Pokedex entry at first and was able to dodge the first few attempts, but the final few were able to make it through. Eris' cries made Riza wince, and she knew that soon it would be time to throw in the towel.

Nero shrugged as she dismissed her own skill. It seemed that she was a better trainer than he was, and as such, he wanted atleast a beginners course in Training. As the two began to exit the Pokémon Center, Mia seemed to have hit someone on the way out. He chuckled a little, after seeing the event. He was glad that no one was injured. "Is everyone okay there?" Nero asked, genuinely worried. He wondered who this new person was and what sort of pokémon she carried with her.

And off off off Mary-Anne and Neal ran! Or, in truth, it was more Neal thrusting his whole entire body forward, his heels kicking back behind him, while Mary-Anne tailed like a rag doll; she used to pride herself on being mildly athletic, but Neal was just too much for her, and he was absolutely relentless in his search for who knows what. The city-scape flashed by, people's monotonous faces blended into one another, and soon they were out in a beautifully lush field of grass and Pokemon.
Once there, Mary-Anne felt she could breathe again; here was natural emotion with no pretension, the world of Pokemon, undomesticated. Here Starly trilled through the skies, and Bidoof and Shinx ran unhindered through the seas of grass blades; here the ground beneath was receptive and she felt almost as if the dirt was embracing her sore feet, rather than punishing it as cement had a tendency to. All around her was life; the city they had just fled from was a purplish gray figure to her south, but it was far away enough from civilization for her. With a laugh, she threw her Pokeballs in the air, releasing all her Pokemon -- well, except one. Diego was nowhere in sight, but Mary-Anne was in a temporary state of euphoria, likely induced by Neal's wild carousing about and his relishing in the boundlessness of the world, and she couldn't have noticed the Smeargle's absense then.
Ulani was extraordinarily enthused to be let out; who knew how long it had been since she had been released? Too long. A funny, fluttery feeling sat in her stomach, but she attributed it to sitting in a Pokeball too long. With a gleeful "Swa!" she blasted into the air, swung around, and kissed Mary-Anne lightly on the cheek. The dark-haired girl in her flowing white sun dress laughed and spun around, arms stretched in the air, knowing how unlikely it would be for a passerby to see her and stop to judge. She was not bound by their rules, anyways. She was her, human, alive, and the sun was stroking her pale cheek, and suddenly she was feeling a little anemic, but oh, there was poor Daemyn, poor Daemyn and his forlorn eyes, and she kissed his muzzle over and over with a great embrace, only stopping when Tora insisted on a hug, too. The Pokemon loved her, greedily lapped up the love she returned at that very moment, was afraid that it would dim; in truth Mary-Anne loved them very much too, and would not waver in that sentiment, but in her muddled mind she could not always remember that they were there and not mere weights on her belt, another burden to bear as she sunk into the dark absurdity of life.
A trainer came by, was about to inquire if she would like to battle him, but something alarmed him about the girl's flashing eyes and here-there-and-everyone mane, a mane strewn with wild flowers. Neal, however, insisted that they do indeed battle, and Mary-Anne straightened herself up properly to give the young man an irresistable, winning smile.
He blushed, tried to square his shoulders to seem more masculine, then revealed his two Pokemon -- a seal-looking thing and some dark, lion-like critter that sparkled with electricity. Mary-Anne had never seen these Pokemon before, but my, were they gorgeous! But her beloveds were just as beautiful, oh yes they were. And so Daemyn and Tora roared into action, Daemyn just jittering with blood-lust after such a long period of anxious inaction and Tora part hyper and part eager to please; after all, he loved to see Mary-Anne's smile. Even though, as of late, it curved oddly at one end.

Jun, meanwhile, was at the salon, watching the professional Keora masterfully clip at his hair. God, the fluidity of her motions, the flicks of her dainty wrists! This was a Goddess working on his head. This was a true hair-cutting queen. He tried to suppress an involuntary moan, so gentle and precise her scissors were. He failed though, twitching a little and letting loose a quiet "Ahhhhhhhhh"; Keora masterfully continued on, not letting the tiny movement distract her.
"Anything the matter?" she asked, a musky voice.
"No, no, of course not! You, dear saint, are /puuuuuuuurrfection/."
But for all his admiration, his sharp emerald eyes did not miss a single movement; after all, he was there to scope out the competition and learn what he could from the best of the best. Him and his beautician team would surpass all of them, of course, some day... when he found the rest of his beautician team, anyways. Demi the Jynx and Posh the Roselia, the only two members currently, were currently enjoying the benefits of the salon, too, Demi getting a facial and Posh reading some high-fashion magazines as someone groomed her luscious petals.
After tipping generously and feeling his wallet cringe a little -- he was running a little short on funds, having spent a little too much on fabrics and accommodations for his model, as well as his brand new Alexander McQueen dress (totally necessary! after all, his designs had skyrocketed in value and price now that the beloved designer had passed away) -- he exited the salon, turning sharply left only to stumble upon a... furball of some sort.
"Excuse me, sir," he said. For whatever Pokemon it was, Jun could tell that it did not possess the heart of a woman. But it was longing something regardless, he could tell, from the sunken eyes in its head.
The Unidentified Hairball glanced up and suddenly, with some bluish vines, half-tripped Jun, thrusting its dark eyes closer to Jun's head. "Hey there, I /know/ I'm fabulous, but a little breathing space, I think, is in order... Hey?" the man said, confused. What was the thing looking at? His... haircut?
The Hairball sighed, and, in an apologetic gesture, helped the man back to his feet before situating itself before the window of the salon once more. Jun, intrigued, stooped to his level this time, following the Pokemon's gaze inside through his Dior black-rimmed glasses.
It was looking at Keora. No, not at Keora herself, but her wonderful hands as she trimming the coat a purring Persian. Jun glanced down at the Vineball, then back at the Persian. Now, although he specialized in hearing the hearts of women, he could hear the cry for beauty from miles away... or from miles inside that nest of vines.
"Did you want to have luscious fur.. er, hair.. er, vines, like that, too?" Jun asked gently.
The Hairball glanced at Jun sheepishly, looked down, and nodded. When he shifted, however, Jun noted the silver scissors and comb that were nestled within the hairball. "And you've... tried to do it yourself?" he asked.
The Vineball nodded slowly. Jun, immediately, was won over. A fellow soul seeking beauty! "Come along with me! Let's see what I can do for you," Jun said with a wide grin. "I might not look it, but I am not a half-bad beautician, you know, and JUN FIERCE is not afraid of a challenge!"

Jaden had also winced when he saw Heracross' Fury attack hit Eris, or the last few tries, at least. She'd taken that big hit from the Horn attack earlier as well, and he was surprised to see the Quilava get back up again. Heracross seemed surprised too, even more so when her flames flared up again, and it seemed like she was eager to continue. "Riza, do you think Eris has had enough?" Jaden called over to his sister. "And your Corphish, too?"
Eris let out a small growl and shook her head, disagreeing before Riza could even answer. Oddly enough Diemia, who was usually the one who was raring to go, put a stop to her Bubblebeam and backed off, nodding towards Flareon respectfully. The Corphish didn't show respect unless she felt someone had earned it, and though she had an advantage over the fox, it was obvious that he was far more experienced than she was. Flareon sat down and nodded back. He knew that in time she would catch up to him, and most likely even defeat him someday, as well. The two Pokémon went back to their trainer's sides, and Jaden knelt down to pet Flareon. Riza would have done the same with Diemia had she not thought the Corphish would try to snap at her, and she didn't really feel like losing a finger. However, Diemia was looking up at her and finally Riza did kneel down as well, and cautiously let her hand rest on top of the Corphish's head. "Great job out there," she said proudly. "You're getting so strong!" Diemia nodded, enjoying the affection she was receiving for once. She had to admit that she was enjoying traveling around with Riza, and didn't object when she was put back in her pokeball. "Okay Eris, you too! That's enough for now, time for a rest." Eris shook her head, very much not wanting to stop, and when Riza held up her ball to recall her she dodged the red beam. "Stop that right now!" Riza shouted, trying again to recall the Quilava, but the Pokemon nimbly jumped out of the way.
Heracross had backed off as soon as he realized that Riza was calling back her Pokemon, and he watched with amusement as Eris ducked and dodged around the red beam, refusing to go back in her ball. Flareon tilted his head to the side in confusion, wondering why the little one refused to give up. Did she really think she could win? Jaden looked down at the fox. "Help Riza out, alright Flareon?" he asked. The fox barked in reply and raced into the fray. The Quilava was quick, but he was quicker, at least for now. He barked sharply again and cut her off, with Eris slamming into his side and bouncing off like a little rubber ball. "Now, Riza!" Jaden called.
Feeling embarrassed and a bit annoyed Riza quickly recalled the unruly Pokemon and clipped the ball onto her belt, hoping Crenu and Ken hadn't seen Eris' little tantrum and her inability to control her Pokemon. Tears began to form in the corners of her eyes and she felt flustered and fearful that Jaden was judging her she avoided eye contact with him, even though a part of her knew him better than that. After all he hadn't said anything and had helped her get Eris under control. "So, what next?" she asked, hoping her voice didn't sound as shaky as she felt.

Isabelle went to the back of the centre and found her room. She was more than tired after the last few days. 'There was a reason I wanted to do this by myself.' She thought as she lowered herself to the bed. 'People are only there to cause you pain, as that Tyra proved.'
"What trouble she was." She hissed. Euri and Frank looked up at their trainer as she seemed to painfully get to the bed. "Two days later and I still feel the fights that I ended up getting into to save her a**."
Euri got up on the bed next to her trainer and started to nudge her. She didn't want to see her trainer hurt any more. Isabelle was impressed that Euri had learned after the last few weeks that she needed to let her tail go out before she could get up on the blankets. Isabelle had the burns to her leg to prove that, but she figured that was the small price she had to pay if she was going to train a fire pokemon. Frank for his part waited until Euri had gotten settled on the bed before jumping up and snuggling into the top corner of the bed. Just like every other night once they had gotten settled Isabelle released Sweetness and allowed her to get up and get comfortable. She discovered that if she waited until the other two got settled then she was less likely to pick a fight with the two of them and therefore Isabelle was able to spend the night sleeping instead of being kept awake by the trouble makers.
"Good night you three. Dream of taking home a gym badge, cause hopefully we'll be able to get that done tomorrow." She patted them each then rolled over and closed her eyes.

"Bingo!" Mia giggled. "Yep, he's my dad." It struck her as a bit odd, having people recognize her without having even met her before. She wasn't even truly aware that the fact that the infamous gym leader had a daughter had been broadcast in the first place. She didn't really take to fame, per se, it was awkward and she felt like people already had opinions about her before having even spoken to her. Like Nero, already expecting her to be a great trainer just because she was the child of a Sinnoh Gym Leader. What if she didn't even want to be a gym leader when she grew up. Oh! The harsh reality's of life. It was much, much better to just focus on the positive.
"Yeah, we're fine Nero!" she laughed, answering the green haired fellow. Between the three of them, they had quite an array of exotic hair colors: blue, green, and orange. Mia giggled to herself, they only needed a few more colors to complete the rainbow! But back to the matter at hand. Now that she'd run into another girl Mia wasn't sure what to do. She felt it was awfully rude to just leave and have a battle with Nero, though that had been the original plan. Plus, she still had to get to Oreburgh to get her first gym badge! "Sooo. . ." she asked, rocking back and forth on the heels of her boots, still unsure of what she should do next.
(( Keegan, Kasiya, and Mitsu would make it a rainbow, ahaha. x3 ))
