He gave a crooked grin when Moya started tickling her, amazed that Shilo thought he could protect her. Oh wait, he was the dad. Of course he could. Growling playfully at both of them he rolled over, shifting to his wolf form and pulling Shilo away from Moya by the dress without ripping it, stopping when she was a few inches from the end of the bed.

Shilo giggled and grabbed onto her dad's neck gently, hiding her face in his fur.
Moya chuckled and got down on her hands and knees, crawling slowly up to them.

Now this was a game. Growling playfully again he flipped Shilo up onto his back, making sure her arms were tight around him before running away from Moya and out the door. He was headed towards the park and the lake, he had a plan this time. 'Hold on tight, baby girl.'

Moya took off after them, her heart excelortating in rate and shifted suddenly. She didn't stop though until they were close to the lake and got a head of them. She stopped there and growled playfully to get their attention.

When she blocked their path he smirked to himself, stopping only to set Shilo down by the tree. 'Ready luv?' She had done exactly what he wanted. Time to let the teaching beging. Still smiling to himself he growled at her, tackling her playfully.

Moya yelped and turning to the side to take his weight to where it would turn them so she was on top. She growled at him and used her weight to pin him down.
Shilo sat by the tree and watched them play fight, trying to figure out how to do it herself.

When she pinned him he flipped them again, getting even closer to the water edge. If they weren't careful they were both going in, and that wouldn't be any fun. Stopping he shifted back, standing up again as he studied Moya while panting. "Picture yourself human again, Moya. Imagine yourself standing on two legs and no fur."

Moya sat there panting for a moment and then started to concentrate on changing back, taking her about 5 minutes before she shifted back, breathing heavily and wincing. "That hurts a little." She smiled softly and picked up Shilo, looking at the lake.
Shilo wanted to go into the water, but thought that it a bad idea to go in without one of her folks and she doubted that one would want to get in after having a shower or a bath that long ago.

He smiled and kissed Moya's head when she was human again, seeing where Shilo was looking. "Actually kiddo, I came prepared this time." Stepping back he pulled a baby swimsuit and a tiny floaty that you sat in out of his pocket, only taking a minute to blow it up. Taking Shilo from Moya he changed her into the suit, handing her back to step out of his jeans so he was in a pair of black swim trunks. "Much better." He looked to Moya now. "Put her in the floaty and then just set her in the water. I'll grab her. And this is for you." Digging in his jeans he pulled out both a green bikini and a dark blue one piece, setting them by the tree. "That's if you wanna come in." Smiling he ran for the lake, jumping in and surfacing a few moments later.

Moya put the floaty in the water and then put Shilo in it, pushing her gently so she would float out into the water so she could change. No one was around so she just walked away from the water a little and got undressed, putting on the green bikini. ever since she changed she had her flat stomach again, but still in a healthy way. She got into the water and sat there for a while, just enjoying the water.
Shilo wiggled in the floaty and splashed around, trying to get to the water over the floaty. She kicked her legs and moved, she did it again and got out a little farther, getting closer to her dad.

Nik knew immediately the bikini was a good choice. It looked fantastic on her, and he was glad she had given it a shot. Seeing Shilo coming closer made him nearly laugh, he could tell she was trying to go into the water more despite her legs already being under. Smirking he went underwater slowly, coming up under her and tickling her feet.

Shilo laughed and kicked harder, trying to get away. "Nooo!"
Moya saw that Nik was tickling Shilo and swam up slowly, pushing Shilo out of the way to save her. She was mom after all, and had to save her after being saved from.

Well that really wasn't fair. She got to have her fun with Shilo, why couldn't he? Still he smiled, staying underwater. But after a moment he pulled Moya under with him, shooting back up and grabbing Shilo out of her floaty and going low again while holding her. He kept her so her arms were around his neck, but he still took them low enough that the water went to just below her armpits. "Better?"

Shilo laughed and splashed in the water, getting completely wet now.
Moya resurfaced and gasped for air, looking over at Nik and Shilo. If he hadn't have had Shilo in his arms, she would have tackled him into the water.

He knew already that Shilo was his safety, that was why he still had her even as she splashed everywhere. Kissing her cheek he smiled at Moya, looking at Shilo now. "Maybe we should start teaching you how to swim sometime, that way we don't have to hold you and you can still have fun." It wasn't a bad idea, within the next few months she might be big enough to swim. And then she would slow down.
