Kearo crawled out of the scanner and laid on the cold metal floor of the factory. "Alicia... She's gone..." Kearo turned over and felt the pain in his arm as the rest of his body was weak. "God... New b*****d outlasted me... Now they took Alicia back..." Kearo ignored the pain, and tried to think about what could be happening in Zero Space right now.
"What do we have here?" Sakio said, looked down at the two, although for him, it was up. This was Zero Space anyways, so it didn't matter. He came down lower and examined the new girl. "I would have preferred Kearo, but I guess she does nicely." He takes off his hood to show his familiar face, red eyes, and a wicked smile. "Haven't seen you since last time I left here. Although, you always see my face..." Sakio slowly floated back and waited to see what Ethan was going to do to her, and wait for what XANA wants with her.

(( I guess it doesn't matter... Heads if it's the first option. *flips coin irl* I got heads. o.o ))
Brook followed after Conor, climbing down more carefully, and asked hesitantly, "Does that mean we lost?"
Brook turned around and saw an unfamiliar boy lying on the floor in front of an open scanner. He looked like he was in pain, and Brook knelt down next to him to try to help him sit up. She could feel the chill run up her spine when Kearo told she and Conor the news. "'Gone'? What do you mean Alicia's gone?"

"She is gone... Is there any other way to put it?" Kearo slowly got up to his knees and laid there, bent over in weakness. "She has been taken back with them to Zero Space. I saw it happen right in front of me." He pounded his fist on the floor. "Dammit... Dammit. DAMMIT! I did nothing! Just blew myself up, and that didn't do s**t!" Kearo stood up and leaned against the scanner to keep himself up. He kept pounding his fist on the scanner as he thought about what Sakio, Ethan, XANA, or what the other warriors would be doing to her. "In that void... And all alone... I can't believe this..."

She did nothing as she tried to make sense of the whole thing. Maybe this was all just a bad dream or something like that she tried telling herself, but she knew that wasn't the case. She merely floated in that dark void wondering why she was here. Hell, Alicia didn't even know where here was. There was no ground and she was barely able to see anything. Eventually she felt something else as her face started getting cold. "Ow! What hell are you doing?" she snapped at Ethan as she tried moving away, even though she had no idea where she would go. Alicia then heard a voice that sounded familiar. Her mind just filled with more questions as the figure took off his hood. It didn't make any sense. Why did he have Kearo's face? Was she going crazy?

Sakio fixed his position and floated right side up in front of Alicia. "Get used to it. You're gonna be here awhile." Sakio folded his arms and smiled at her. A smile that very much distinguished him and Kearo, although, Kearo didn't really smile and Sakio only did it out of evil. "You might be wondering why I look like Kearo, all but for the red eyes, and the fact I have a different outfit than him. But, by the way you look and react, I guess he hasn't told you yet. Guess he doesn't trust you enough..." Sakio said, making one tentacle slide out of his backpack. "But... You don't have to worry about trusting anyone here... I promise you... You can trust that I mean everything..."

Isaac prepared to push his sword through Kearo's back. He began the slow impailment, when sudenly, it was like the blade had no effect. He felt himself losing his senses of this worled and found the embrace of the darkened void upon him. He bowed his head and grinned as he accepted that his time here was done...
He reappeared it the darkness, not alone. He laughed triumphantly. Not a laugh as if he had just heard a funny joke, but a victorious howl of victory.
"Hahahaha! We triumph!" he said rather thatrically. He noticed the girl who had come with them. He floated down to her, rolling around in the air rather delicately. Hmmm, who is this one?" he asked.

"Back off!" Ethan hissed as he turned to face Sakio and Isaac, slapping away the tentacle Sakio sent after her. "I need her mind in one piece. Get your own test subject!"
He turned back to Alicia, and cracked his knuckles menacingly before extending his hand out sideways. His double-bladed staff formed out of vapor in the void. He spoke as he pulled apart the weapon at the middle with a sharp click."I have some simple questions to ask you, and for your own sake you're going to answer them honestly." "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

"Yeah. We lost," was all he said before turning away and slowly climbing back up the ladder. He climbed up to the supercomputer room and plopped down lifelessly in front of the screen, pressing keys at random.
One key brought up a video of a newscaster, speaking hurriedly with a worried expression. "... Titan IRBM was just launched 30 minutes ago from a US military base, with no possibility for interception due to a wide-spread virus program infecting all bases with anti-ballistic missile platforms. This act was not accompanied by a declaration of war from the United States nor were there any terrorist demands we are aware of. The projected site of impact is Kadic academy, a boarding school situated in..."
Conor's eyes flew wide open in epiphany. So this was XANA's plan! We left it too late, now we're all gonna die -
Another window popped up over the news video, interrupting his thoughts. He looked at it briefly and sighed in relief. The tower had just been deactivated of its own accord, which meant that its energy would be available for use to launch a return to the past. That new girl virtualized by herself, is it possible that she knows some codes? Only one way to find out...
He ran over to the trapdoor, slid it open, and yelled down urgently into the scanner room. "Kearo! Brooks! The tower just got deactivated. Get up here! Hurry!"

"I better have something to do with Alicia..." Kearo said as he turned away from the scanner and walked over to the elevator. He entered the code and left his thumb on the button, staring as Brook as he waited for her. "Come on... Conor needs us..."
Sakio slowly backed up from Alicia as Ethan slapped his tentacle. "Don't matter if she tells the truth... But... What really matters anyways...? She's stuck here..." Sakio said as he put on the hood and his cloak made him blend in with the darkness. "I'll be able to tell is she's telling the truth anyways... But you method seems funner... I'll just get some things prepared..." Sakio said and then swiped his hand across the empty space and pulled up a panel, like the ones in the towers that he would pull up all the time. "Besides... Kearo is gonna be coming soon... Too bad he won't bring more playmates... Such a shame... His emotions always did hold him back..." Sakio said, with the light from the screen only lighting up the smile that he made under his hood.

Things were getting worse as more of XANA's freaks were coming around. Judging from the sounds of their voice, there was three of them so far, but there was a chance that there were more of them around. It felt as though Alicia was stuck in a den with lions. It would be pointless try to run as there was no way of knowing where the exit of this place was. There wasn't even a floor underneath her as she just floated in the dark void. Her throat tighten as her stomach dropped, she had no idea of what these things were going to do to her.
A cold chill ran down her spine as Ethan spoke up once again. Mind? One piece? Test subject? She seriously did not like where this was going. It was beginning to feel like being in a mad scientist's lab. Alicia frown some more as he cracked his knuckles, not a good sign. She watched as he pulled out and took apart his weapon in front of her. Oh this isn't going to end well? She blinked a couple of times as she felt as though she was in a daze. "What kind of questions?" she asked in a low voice. Her attention was on him only as it didn't seem as though the others were not going to get involved in the moment.

Brook closed her eyes when Conor confirmed what she feared. What would happen now? That was the only question that ran through her head as she sat next to the other boy on the cold floor. She was briefly aware that Conor climbed back up the ladder, but spent most of the time staring at the floor, asking unanswerable questions in her head about what would happen.
After a while she heard Conor's voice call her and what she assumed to be the other boy's name as well and stood up, following Kearo and getting in after him. After a second of staring at the wall awkwardly, she spoke up to introduce herself as the elevator took them up to the computer room. "Um, I'm Brook, by the way," she said quietly.

Conor cut straight to the chase. He spun the chair around sideways to face Brook and Kearo. "Long story short, the tower just deactivated itself and we're all gonna die unless we launch a return to the past, like, NOW. Do either of you know how to do it?"
A drop of sweat trickled down from his temple. Please say yes...

Ethan floated forward and lashed out with the flat of his sword, striking hard at Alicia's torso. "I'm the one asking questions," he said, glaring at her coldly. "Not you."
He floated backward slightly and stopped, suspended motionless in the void. A slight grin tugged at the corners of his lips as he idly twirled the blade in his left hand. "How did your group discover Zero-Space? I want details." "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

Kearo hit the button as soon as Brook entered the elevator and waited for the door to close. He turned his head to her as she stated talking and telling him that her name was Brook. "Brook? Hm... Name's Kearo..." Kearo said, depressed as he waited to get up to the Super Computer room. The door to the elevator opened and he entered the room, walking up behind the chair that Conor was sitting in. Conor was frantic, but who wouldn't be? They were all gonna blow up if that missile wasn't stopped. "Yeah... I do... Well... Of course you know that..." Kearo walked up to the keyboard and entered the codes for the Return to the Past. "Not like it will bring Alicia back here..." Kearo said as he entered the final part of the codes. He finished the codes and turned his head to Brook. "Get ready to go back to... Maybe lunch... Or some time around that..." Kearo said and then hit the enter button, letting the white light consume the entire area. "Don't worry... It won't hurt..."
Sakio just floated there and listened to what Ethan and Alicia were doing. Ethan was questioning her about things that Sakio already knew, but apparently Ethan wanted more than that. "Kearo probably told them... Or maybe they found the old crap left behind... Well, what does it matter anyways...? The suspense is fun." Sakio looked back at the screen and saw that it hooked up with the super computer and that a return trip was just launched at the factory. "I guess stopping the missile would really help them..." Sakio said as he waved his hand again and sent the screen away. "Now to watch the fun..."

"Kearo..." Brook repeated quietly. Interesting name... When the elevator doors opened and they stepped out, she stared at Conor, barely understanding what he was talking about at all. "We have to do what because of what?" she asked, narrowing her eyes and scrunching her face muscles into a confused expression, like she was struggling to understand something being spoken to her in a foreign language.
She just stared at Kearo as he went to type in the codes, still no one explaining the situation to her. "Wait. We're going back? How is that--"
But Brook was cut short by the white light overtaking everything in her vision...
