Aeroden Eternium Once upon a time, there was a princess named Bob, and a prince named Amy.
Amy was kidnapped by Bob's evil twin, Bobbina.
Bob was occupied with her favourite hobby, running up and down the stairs, and ran into Bobbina.
Bobbina exploded, and left a duffel bag on the stairs.
Amy burst out, and became absorbed in his favourite hobby, dust collecting.
And they all lived happily ever after.
The End. The ceiling. That was *sniff* beautiful. bravo

I like how Tokushi just flat out assumes Nexus is having problems with the world. Heh, there's no way he could possibly know this, but he just happens to guess. Ah, good stuff.

The way it typically goes down is a new member makes their first post. Wait for a bit, and if no one replies after a day, they move to where the action is.
The way I'd recommend starting is somewhere along those lines, except, if no one replies, just reply to yourself. The best intros are ones that go in depth about the character. Maybe start off with a flashback from the past, ultimately putting him/her at this particular point in time. Give him/her a reason for being here (or where ever he/she) is. Then jump in the action. Role playing is about writing. Do it right.

I did about the same. My charrie is going to head into his dorm room. So, he is going to be busy reading charts and data that he has. Trying to understand what is going on.
