So bored. Go bring me someone interesting~______________________________ » » » » †

Not necessarily.
Trust me, I know many mods, artists and devs, and all of them are ten shades of awesome. Of course, even they frequently mention how not all staff members are on the same level. Mods, in particular: They have one of the worst jobs ever, and the reward level is abysmally low. And even then, many do try their best because they are committed to Gaia. That's pretty ******** cool, IMHO.
The main problem is that Gaia is HUGE. It has grown well beyond any of its initial specifications, and as such, many of the additions have either been rushed, or not planned for such a large scope.
Thus, problems happen, a lot.
You weren't here back in the day, when it all started. I was. I have seen every database error under the sun, every section of the forums come online, the first Guilds (Before there was any kind of guild system!), the first event (I still regret trading those Chicky slippers), the first donations...
And all along the way, there have been errors, and the errors have been corrected, only to have MORE errors whenever a new thing rolls out, or the number of users grew beyond a certain number.
Maaaan... I remember when there was a chat. And how we totally crashed it.
And all those first events... Full of bugs. The first zombie event crashed the entire system! Too many users making requests!
Maaan... Those were REAL ERRORS.
