"Do you need help?" May asked looking at Spiderman intensely, realizing the situation. If someone was in trouble she wanted to help. She was going to help out anyway, but, it wouldn't hurt to have some manners.

Spider-man nodded. "All we can get," he added dryly.

"Alright just tell me what to do." She replied with a quick nod.

"CRUSH!"

Scarebeast watched as Doomsday jumped from the rubble and headed in the direction where Scarebeast told him to go; towards the others. To give the enemy a chance to plan would be a fatal mistake and therefore, Scarebeast enacted upon a moment of vulnerability within the hero ranks, sending in Doomsday to destroy them. Descending from the sky, Doomsday landed before the heroes, smashing his fists into the ground in preparation to attack them.

"WAR CRUSH!"

Scarebeast concentrated and sat down, focusing all his concentration in spreading the Pestilence Gas across New York. People were no doubt dying from his toxins, but no actual death was occurring. Rather, those who breathed it in became quite dull or rather in standard terms, zombies. All directed by Scarebeast to attack, but only as long as Scarebeast kept concentration or they would instead just be plain sick instead of infected. Doomsday was warming up by building up his rage, preparing to jump in and rip things or people apart.

((enter Superman and Spider-man from Fisk Tower, Sorry everybody, I thought Doomsday followed apocolypse for some reason. sweatdrop ))

Superman felt the anti-matter begin to naw at his Skin, but before he could even express annoyance, he found himself in New York, looking down at a Doomsday that looked.... different. Here we go again.... "DOOMSDAY!" he Yelled, plowing into him fists-first at reletavistic speeds, just barely avoiding igniting the earths atmosphere into a giant fireball.

Spider-man recognised the monster from his psychotropic nightmare. "Let me guess, you let the flying monkeys put you back together, didn't you?" He taunted Scarebeast. Let's see how this guy handles me when his Toxins are useless...

Spider-man blinked a few times. There was a gigantic monster pounding the concrete in front of him... but he had barely managed to get out of the way in time. His spider-sense was still working, but it was almost like his reaction to it had been impaired. Hard to think... what the hell...?

The Flash appeared to be asleep against a wall.

"You..." Ghost Rider pointed at Scarebeast as he said that, then continued with, "...Guilty..." Giving the bike a quick rev, the Spirit of Vengeance rode up to him, spinning his chain over his head, then whipping it out, aiming to wrap it around the creature's neck. He was going to catch him, and drag him along.

People approached. Didn't look normal. Appeared to be unthinking. Under control of something. My face helped to filter out gas. Prevented similar effect from happening to him. Scarf helped prevent gas from seeping up under face. "Stop..." Didn't want to hurt them. Innocent people. "Will stop you if you do not go away..." Didn't listen. No choice. Us or them. Won't kill them. They are not responsible for their actions. Will make sure they cannot continue, however. "Warned you..." Rorschach began attacking the zombified people. He dislocated arms, and broke ribs and legs, all intentionally. Cannot be a threat if they cannot stand or fight. Whenhe needed to make space for himself, he would grab them and throw them at others. Knocked some out. Kept coming. More replaced the ones he put down. He could continue for a while, but not forever.

THE WASP

Janet Van Dyne

Janet shook her head slowly. She would never get usto this. Never. She tired to take in everything that was happening. There was so much going on and she wasn't sure where she was for the first few momments. Then she regonized that it was New York. "Why does he always do that?" She bit her lip and tried to think of a plan.

Pixie smiled and pulled Natalia along towards the park. "Ok, lets talk." She ordered as they arrived, the park itself seemed pretty empty and doing a quick scan for any thoughts, nothing human seemed nearby.

Spidergirl did a flip backwards to avoid the monster that had staretd to attack, "Uh, so who are they...?" she asked small Spidey, slowly trying to get her thoughts straight.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 16, 2009 10:24 pm

Doing his best to fight off the zombie people despite his increasingly fuzzy head, Spider-man tried to remember. Who were they? He knew who they were... The names were just escaping him at the moment. Why couldn't he think straight? ... And why did he suddenly really feel like attacking his older counterpart? This made no sense. Something was very wrong. "Gas..." he said fuzzily, then blinked, "Scarecrow! Gas! ...Um... I'll be right back," he told Spider-girl, making an effort to speak slowly and clearly, "Try not to... breathe too much. And don't fight him," he added, indicating Doomsday. Without waiting for a response, he jumped up into the air and started swinging off toward the Baxter building. On his way past, he shot a glob of webbing at Scarecrow's face. Hey, every little bit helped.

"Wait I-!" She sighed as he left, and leapt up avoiding some people who started to attack her. She quickly shot webbing at them and bound them each other, unable to move. More started to move and she did her best to dispose of the people without hurting them too much.

”Ah.” X said as he turned his attention to Riku now that he was up. ”I‘m here because you picked up one of my cards that I had given to Reaper. Normally nothing should have happened, but you had an interesting reaction from simply touching my card. The only cause for such that I could think of is that you desperately want something. From what I gather, that would be your old Blood that the girl is now wearing.”

”You have a way for me to get it back?” Riku asked.

”Easily.” X replied. ”Though I‘ve already offered the girl my assistance, and I‘m not sure she‘s very eager to get rid of it at this time. But…I can replace your old Blood for a new one.”

”What, you like to play mad scientist too?” Kenji chimed in.

X glanced back at Kenji with a slightly annoyed frown. ”Please, don‘t insult me. As close as those scientists of your world thought that they were to creating a real form of ‘Blood‘…they were barely even poking at it with a stick.” he said, then lifted his hand a moment. A multicolored spiral began to form hovering above it, and spikes began to poke out of it in various places as it began hissing. ”What your world calls ‘Blood‘, are what used to be my signature creations. My little ‘guard dogs’ if you will. I created thousands of them. I‘m afraid they had the same fate as the rest in that little event that gave your universe sporadic powers. Though not quite the same. They were completely encased rather than just their souls. Though with only one correct way to free them…those idiot scientists killed nearly every one they attempted to save. What they did manage to get, was as accurately as you named it…blood.”

”Heh, don‘t tell mister obsessive that.” Kenji laughed. ”He thinks he‘s the one making the perfect forms of Blood.”

”Hardly. He had the right idea when blood was all he got out of it, but those are only the essence of what my creatures truly are.” he said, turning back to the boy. ”For you humans…it shouldn‘t effect your mind and judgment if you became one with the real thing. Your strength and all physical abilities would be increased ten fold, create a near endurance to nearly anything you come in contact with, breathing in water or space would be nothing, and some of my creatures could even mimic or learn the powers of others by simply watching.”

”Can you still make them? Even a temporary one?” Riku asked.

”Of course. A temporary one, or even one that was more like the one in your universe would be much easier to do than a fully complete one. Do you not want a true one?”

”I want my old one back. I‘ll take anything that could give me the ability to get it back. Any kind of advantage.” Riku replied.

X thought for a brief moment and glanced up at the sky. A faint smile made it‘s way across his face as he turned back to the boy. ”How do you feel about the color green? I know your suit was that dark blue, but...”

”I don‘t care if it‘s pink…as long as it helps get my suit back.” Riku said.

”Hold on.” Kenji said to Riku, then turned to X. ”And what are you going to want in return?”

X smirked a bit. ”At the moment, I have nothing that I need. Though should a problem arise, it would be Blood related, and with people that he knows. I‘ve already tried one, and he was taken…out of my reach. Another is already at his full form, as I believe the boy‘s already met. And another just needs some coaxing out. Though I‘m sure he‘ll have no problem helping with that.” He said, then paused a moment to think. ”If you‘d like, I can direct you towards a few places that may provide you with a well paying job.”

”I‘ve already got one. Just direct me towards Dea-.” Kenji started, before cutting himself off as X pointed towards the sky.

”Floating miles above the planet in a secure cell. As well as your previous employer. It may be a while…if at all that you can work on that job again.” X said. Kenji grumbled a bit to himself and X smirk grew slightly. ”You could stop by the large tower over there, the Fisk building I believe. Or Head towards Metropolis or the Beach.”

Kenji glanced back at Riku a moment. ”Go on. I‘m fine.” Riku said. Kenji took another quick glance at X, then darted off out of sight.

”Very well then. This might...” X began, turning back to Riku, then abruptly stopped and glanced towards some of the far off buildings. He visibly became quite annoyed.

Riku glanced down the direction he was looking, but didn’t see anyone or anything. That building he had been taken to before…that Fisk building or whatever it was.

”I‘ll leave it for you to find it then.” X said with enough annoyance in his voice to match his face.

”What?”

”Something else has come up...” X replied, slowly turning back to the boy. ”I‘ll leave it somewhere inside a museum located between New York and Gotham. You know what Blood is like before it is awakened, so you’ll know what to look for. And it will be green. I‘d hurry though. It could easily be mistaken for a certain stone that others are trying to collect.”

”Why would you make it look like something others are looking for?” Riku asked, a bit annoyed as well. And sure he knew what Blood was like at first, didn’t mean it was different from any other jewel or stone.

”Because it is the same thing.” X replied. ”You wanted a slight advantage, right?” is voice said, fading as he did.

Riku stared at where X had been a slight moment, then let the symbiote cover him and took off up the wall.

[enter the Phantom Stranger and Chris from JLA Satellite]

A mist appeared in the middle of Central Park. It was thick, and there was no reason why it should possibly be there. The Phantom Stranger and Christina walked out of the mist, although they had not been there before the mist arrived. As they walked out of it, the mist dissipated. "Here we are, Christina Miller. New York City. And not even a break in our steps on the way here." She had been nervous. He was trying to calm her, although he knew she'd see worse before her time was done.

Chris nodded slowly, "Of course, I know where we're at." She said trying to calm herself down. This guy seemed harmless enough and he had gotten her out of the awful satellite. "So... what do you need me for?" she asked curiously looking at him firmly. "You mentioned there was a reason for me being in this universe? Is thisl ike wizard of oz and I get to go home after I kill the wicked witch or something?"

"That, I cannot say. I have already interfered as much as I can in this matter at the moment." The Stranger turned to leave.
