Lula pulled tighter against Kazumei when Melediana approached, before she realized who it was... And she felt sleep drawing in on her... My... Toys... She couldn't fight it... She clung to Kazumei with every conscious fiber in her being... "Thank you... Kazumei..." And then she was out... Her grip loosened on Kazu, and her eyes forced themselves closed against her will. She fell limp in his arms, still looking as fragile as a porcelain doll...

Kazumei looked up at melediana as he held Lula in his arms but the conversation with Melediana was way more important it was about his brother and the clan. Hearing her talk about the old fueds the clans had and the differences made. He looked up at her with cold look in his eyes saying with a mono tone "I knew my brother better than ANYONE in that village..I knew the sacafices he put on for the Uchiha clan". Kazumei said as he could feel Lula small body go limp again he probably went past out from all the thing that happened today she'll need the rest. Focusing back on Melediana he looked down at his shirt with the Uchiha fan on his sleeves and back. "..Times changes but history will always REPEAT itself and without remembering the past we have no future....thats what my brother taught me the greatest lesson I will ever learn. The dark side of families cause I seen it...and the word "dark" doesn't even describle it..its nothing but pure madness driven to the point of insanity.." Kazumei said as he never really talked about Toshiro or even what happened with the clan. Kazumei was speaking the truth history does repeat itself more times than people realize. Its true that the Uchiha and Senju had a past still to this day it lingers on in the whispers of the clan. But the evils of the clan will never change as long as there is a greedy and love for power his clan's secret will never go away. Never.

She spoke to Kazumei but though Lula's wounds had disappeared, she still kept her palm over the girl's neck, gently glowing faintly green. Melediana wasn't able to draw out any hints of poison - she checked at the shoulders and above the heart too - perhaps...perhaps Kana had neglected to poison that weapon... But she wanted to make sure.

"There is only a thin line between sanity and madness." Her eyes closed, thoughts drifting back to Gekkani. "It becomes too easy to cross it...and that brings tragedy. They say nothing is new under the sun - then why do human beings even try? Because there is something to live for..." A soft pause. "Darkness exists. That is inevitable. But there is good too - something beautiful - that each family, each person...has to offer. When a seed is cultivated gently, it grows and bears fruit. Likewise, when shown only wickedness and neglect, the lands remain barren. Kazumei."

It was definite then. No poisoning...thank goodness...

"When one is gone, there is no past...present...nor future. Respect for the past is one thing, but to linger, holding on to it with every fiber of one's being is another... With two nuances of meaning, just as being sentimental and sentimentality are not the same... One cannot face the future, with their steps wavering between the past and present - as the child who tries to keep the standing between the shore and the fringes of the sea, hoping the tide won't come...but it will return surely, the tide will come...and that 'standing between two ways' must reach a decision..."

"Then, will you contribute to that madness? Change is only impossible, when one becomes convinced so..." Before she disappeared in a swirl of leaves, she left Kazumei with Lula sleeping in his arms, to contemplate this: "Will you trade everything - for the sake of power?"

Lula shifted, cringing when tension raised in the voices around her, but she settled back in, curling against Kazumei and letting out a soft, content purr. She nuzzled her head into his chest and curled up into a ball, resting comfortably against the Uchiiha's body. Her eyes were closed, and they were dancing behind their lids. She was dreaming. A very small whisper escaped her lips, and she curled tighter against his chest "Kazu... mei..."

'I can't believe she's doing this..' Syrius thought as he sat wide eyed in the treetops. The small girl Kensei had waved on earlier in the day was now at their defense. Holding the small redhead by her neck with chain. 'And how could Kensei just let her do this to the girl.' They where roughly of the same age, though there was a very visible. The boys cousin was ranked among the sanin in Konoha. Though the other was a mer academy student.

Syrius watched as all of the character's of ordeal left but sat motionless. "Everyone I know is so crazy.." After a short while longer Syrius stood from his position and jumped from the tree. Slowly, Syrius strolled from the meadow towards the city. The towns folk still minding their own business as he made his way through the small mod. 'Today was just so odd..' Syrius walked slowly in the direction of his home.

Getting from the tree he moved Lula slowly at of the way. He had to leave getting kinda tired and wanted to do some training as his house. Bowing at lula before he left he bounced in a hurry. Kazumei had alot on his mind now as he remembers what Melediana said to him and he has to be alone for a moment. Walking headed to his apartment in the Uchiha District Kazumei seemed to walk alot more now and in days.

Lula woke up form a rather comfortable dream. And she looked around. There was no one here. She sighed sadly. She remembered what had happened... They must have just given up on her. She took a deep breath and walked through where once had been the destruction she'd caused, stretching to wake herself up. She needed to be better... She needed to be stronger.... She took all four of her fuuma shuriken and re-holstered them, walking around and gathering her thirteen smaller shuriken and replacing them in her pouch. She'd lost everyone, now... So what was she training for? Power. An infectious word. A word that meant nothing but destruction... And apparently, it was all she had to live for, now... No tears came. She had cried herself dry with Kazumei... And she had scared him away...

She was shaking now. Not of fear. Not of hunger. Not of pain... She was angry. She was angry at the Hyuuga scum... She was pissed that they could come into her life and turn it upside-down in one day... She felt her fists tighten into a white-knuckled grip. Her teeth grit and her eyes forced themselves closed. She could feel her heart beating at speeds that would shame a hummingbird's wings. Her blood was rushing through her body such that she was blushing, her body growing hot with rage.

Shaking, she placed her hand on a single shuriken, but she couldn't summon the strength to pull it out. She fell to her knees, staring at the ground. She was too angry to scream, too enraged to explode. She just looked at the ground and wished a hole would open up and swallow her. And so she stood, turning her back on the memories she had here and started drifting home, giving those trees a wide berth.

The boy stalked through the trees. He wasn't going to be killing anyone until he was better at this. And if he wasn't killing, it was just pretty talk. He had to focus on what he knew and what he felt. Keeping to that, he was glad it was nighttime. Those suffocating goggles weren't choking off his view of the world. He didn't completely know what he was stalking, but it was going to be apparent when he found it. Endless practices like these would make him great someday. But he was only concerned with them keeping him alive at the moment.

He was doing well so far. He kept his eyes darting around the trees, being sure o avoid the moon. Even that hurt his eyes nowadays. He had spent so much time in the darkness that his eyes were growing even more sensitive to the light. He hoped to the powers above that he would be able to keep his goggles on and keep missions to the dark. Unfortunately, he had the feeling that that might not happen. He just hoped that he had the good fortune to keep out of sight and not get in too deep. His life could depend on his ability to jump out and beat the holy s**t out of someone before they know what hit them. Reminds me. I need to brush up on anatomy. Knowing how to kill someone was better than just going and trying to kill them.

The snap of a twig. The rustle of leaves as he passed. He wasn't keeping to the code. Silent and deadly. Those were the rules. He sighed and pushed on, forcing himself into a crouch. Forward steps as opposed to downward steps. A necessity, true, but they increased the chances of rustling leaves. He decided to take that chance. He still had a ways of stalking before he'd come to a good spot. There wasn't going to be any corner-cutting on his part. Not tonight. He was training right now, and that's what he was going to do until he'd completed his self-assigned mission. I need to be better.

All right. He stilled himself. A slight adjustment would put him crouching beside a tree, looking out at his target. he'd have to slide to it, but he'd be moving fluidly, gracefully into position. He needed to. And so he would. Steeling himself, he slid forward. He was good at making himself feel like his life was on the line. He knew that feeling well. The boy moved into position.

He hit it too hard. The quiet thump of his shoulder contacting the tree gave him away. Damn it. He was still careful to refrain from saying anything or even huffing in irritation. He had to be as silent as the grave. Because then, he was one step closer to putting someone there. He took another silent breath and tried to pivot and place his back to a different tree. There was going to have to be a time he got it right, and he would keep going until he did. Eventually, he was going to be able to run through this whole routine without making a sound.

Once again. He gave away his position. But he accepted it and moved on. He needed to be prepared to make mistakes, and he would make them. The art of being a proper killer was that you could work around your mistakes. And those preparations would lead to the eventual absence of mistakes. He was going to get there some day. But now wasn't the time for perfection. He needed to learn, and you can't do that if you're perfect.

He slid his foot across the ground and disturbed the earth again. It wasn't wrong to make mistakes. But he needed to get this right, or else it wasn't worth the time. OK. He shook his head. It was worth it whether he got it right or not. No matter what he did, though, he couldn't quit. Quitting was a waste of everyone's time. If he couldn't live up to his hype, then there wasn't much point in hyping himself up. No more pivoting. No more cross-overs. One of the most fundamental parts of Kali: triangles. Never cross the legs. Otherwise you were destroying the single most important thing you have in a fight: Your balance. Your footing. A quick, light step forward would put him against a new tree.

First time with a new technique. It was natural to mess up. But he'd messed up less using this technique than he had using the last one, which had been more familiar to him. Which either meant he was suffering from beginner's luck, or that this technique was much better for this skill. Hopefully it was the latter. Although, either way it still got him where he needed to be. Being flat-footed now just meant being sure-footed then. And he would have a lot of then, so he needed to be ready now. A quick step. Both feet at the base of the triangle, the target step would complete the triangle and put his back to the tree.
