 Actually, this was entirely my idea. If it were Azura's, she would think of some tacky way for the both of us to correspond, like last year.
 Ah, the Utena art style is not very appreciated by many. It figures. Or perhaps that was a statement for the sake of provoking a negative reaction. It seems to me that you like to do that.

*cough*  Right. The style is very different from mainstream, and perhaps malproportioned depending on personal tastes...
It gives off a kind of snooty air because the series focuses heavily on abstraction and symbolism.
Accounts for why many seem to be turned off. If Ruka were drawn in another style, he'd probably look more attractive to the masses.
Definitely not something that appeals to the action-craving generation of today. ">_>

It wasn't intended to provoke a negative reaction, though I freely admit that I do like to do that.
I'm too happy now. I pre-ordered Brawl.
I really just think he looks ugly. It's not the art style, though again I freely admit that it certainly doesn't help. The picture in your post is more aesthetically pleasing, but I still don't like him. Maybe I'm biased against him and I don't know why.
I no likey swords that don't have real blades. If you're supposed to poke someone with it, it sucks. Strong opinion, I know, but hey.
Am I being called something passively? It's in your best interests to tell me, Azura... It'd be a shame to have to... Well, never mind that now...

Ah, I see. rofl I guess Ruka immediately does exude that kind of aura.
I mean, the very first impression you get if you were to see his character in the series is, "God, what an a*****e!"
And then you find his motives for being such an a*****e later, and it's like... "Waaaaahhh... ;-;"
I have such a taste for men like that. I don't know why. 
@opinion on fencing: Well, in this day and age where it's illegal to seriously hurt and kill as a result of such methods... razz
