Karrot woke up to a timer going off, he got up and went over to the cake, which was cooled down enough to add the frosting. He reached into his bag and removed a metal knife, on of few cooking utensils that he must use his hands for. He spread on the frosting to each cake layer, none of them stacked yet, so he had one dark chocolate frosted devils food cake, one milk chocolate frosted milk chocolate cake, one butter creme vanila frosted vanila cake, and one vanila frosted angel food cake. He let the frosting set for a minute, then stacked the layers, combining the remaining frostings into one all Chocolate, one milk chocolate/butter creme vanila, and one butter creme vanila/plain vanila. He used these to fill the seams between the cakes, and then he smoothed them. The cake ranged in color from a light yellow at the top to a dark brown at the bottom, the colors blended perfectly. Karrot then put the cake into a stone box, one that only he can open without using a hammer. Karrot went back to his chair and set a timer for 30 minutes. He'd take a nap, then check on the brothers.

Goldie paused to think about that seriously and then she came upon the answer, "Oh! Because he's probably going to kill her!" She said.

[Wow...did you see Fifi's new charrie for Lorindel? Wow...I think we got a new bad guy..girl on our hands!]

Tyran paled before he began to walk towards the exit, "That's what I am afraid of. He wouldn't really kill her would he?"

"I haven't seen you in a while," Cara said as she leaned against the door, "Where have you been Sasha? You've missed out on alot."

[lol That's an understatement...]

Monaleth slowly sat up, a bit dazed but aert enough to know she definitely wasn't in the Nocturne. She turned to the voice before nodding, bowing slightly at the regal voice, "I am well..at the moment. Would please be so kind as to tell me where I am?"

Kanna watched as Pride's eyes returned to their pale blue color and the calm look became tainted with something else..., "An'ari." she said, watching his form fade away into the spirit that he was. There was only a moment as the spirit floated infront of her before it comepletely faded away, not even a once of resistence see from it. All it left was a shocked daughter.

Kanna looked down, a small smile upon her face as she said, "Yes..it seems Lady Kari cleansed him of his insanity to control him better therefore making him pure enough not to go to the Underworld after death...it doesn't relieve him of the pain he has caused, but it did allow him to accept his death." she closed her eyes before saying a small prayer to him, "I inform the rest of the Sulla clan of the news for my reign as the Sulla Leader to begin." she looked at Aster and offered him her hand, "Do you wish to come?"

Monaleth slowly stood up, a bit wobbly at first, but with the aid of the nearby wall she stoof firm, "I am Monaleth...second in command of the Blaydon sect in Signet. I take it you are the queen of this realm?"

Winistruya nodded in affirmation, "Are you in need of healing?" She asked, "Maybe something to chase away the dizziness?" She asked, moving towards her.

Magnolia woke up feeling refreshed, not an inkling of what went on in Signet. She smiled when she realized that her father was healed. SHe felt so warm and fuzzy that she flushed and let out a delighted squeal.

"Magnolia? Are you awake, dear?" Her mother came in, "I thought I heard something." She entered fully, revealing that she was carrying a tray laden with food.

"Oh, Ma....YOu didn't have to do all that! I can come down and eat." She protested gently but smiled gratefully and sat up, propping herself against the headboard.

"Nonsense." She replied with a gentle laugh, setting the tray in place and getting everything ready. When she was finished she set her hands in her lap and watched her daughter as she began to eat. She pressed her lips together.

Magnolia paused while putting jam on a slice of toast, "What's wrong?"

She shook her head, "Everything is perfectly, right darling." She reached out and stroked Magnolia's cheek, brushing a curly strand of hair out of her face, "I....thought I would lose your father." She said very quietly.

Magnolia put her toast down, wiped her hands and covered her mother's hand but waited.

"When he got that injury...." She paused to collect herself, "He fought it at first, he stayed active, took walks, that's the time when your brother was concieved.. The healer wasn't able to treat it fully but he was able to seal the poison away in his throat, that's why he couldn't talk." Another pause, longer this time, "Ever so slowly, however, the poison leaked into his system and he got sicker...and he finally couldn't walk anymore and he looked so weak, Mags." Her eyes were glassy but she held back tears for now, "It was killing him so slowly. It's a horrible thing, my dear, to watch those you love die in slow motion before you. I'm so grateful that you saved him. Now I have all of you, you returned and you brought him back..." She dissolved into tears then.

"I'm glad I came back when I did, mother. I'm glad I saved Father." She murmered.

Her mother produced a kerchief from her pocket and wiped her eyes, "Oh, what am I crying about. Everything's just fine. You came back with a very handsome husband."

Magnolia blushed, "Mama!" She exclaimed, "He's not my husband yet..." She mumbled.

"Oh he might as well be!"

Aster smiled, "Naturally." He took her hand, "Who to first?" He asked.

Goldie smiled, "And that is good. I wouldn't have it any other way."

Merlin sighed, looking around the club. It was in shambles. She produced a slip of paper with a rune on it. She had two others, gifts from Ranier. They were restoration spells but they were blank so that she could adjust them how she wanted. She smirked. Her gang had cleaned up the best they could but it was nowhere near it's former glory, "Everyone out." She commanded.
She waited then closed her eyes, holding the rune between her her middle and ring finger and she began to murmer quietly. The rune began to glow dark red. Her eyes snapped open, her pupils had seemingly expanded until her irises were completely black. The room around her began to blur and the Nocturne began quaking. Things shifted around, repaired moved and new developements were added. The building grew in height as a new floor was added, it shifted a bit more and then went still.
The rune dissolved in her hand, used up she smiled and looked around. Everything was brand new and there were some changes. The color scheme was similar the bar area was gorgeous gray marble and supporting the counter top were snakes raised up to look like S's. The new dance floor was black marble as well and minutely drawn in was the detailed image of a dragon, coiled in the center. When the lights hit it, it would glow under the feet of the dancers. At the front door, sitting as sentries were two black panther marbel statues. Their eyes were garnets and they sat regally on either side of the front door. The tables and booths were pretty much the same, dark red leather booths and cusions on chairs, black table tops with little drawn figures of cats in each corner.
An elevator was added and on the new third floor was a private salon area. Perfect for private parties and especially perfect for when the Ten arrived and needed to have private meetings. There was a mini bar that could be staffed to serve refreshments. The second floor was more or less teh same and the stairs were still there.
She sighed, feeling drained, she needed to feed then rest, she'd been working quite vigorously tonight. SHe turned and left the Nocturne for her gang to explore.

Jack sighed, "All over, huh? Good." He said grimly then jumped when he felt his phone vibrate near his groin, "Yikes!" He hissed and answered it, "Heeeey, Nathan!" He said then listened and laughed, "No, I havn't been avoiding you....yes I'm still in Signet.....yes I met a girl but that's not the only reason I'm still here. This city is very active, lots of things been going on! Hey, I'm thinking of maybe moving the main office here, what do you think?"

She made a surprised noise since up until now she'd been the instigator of kisses between them. But she smiled and was flushed as well when he pulled away, "Oh..." She breathed.

Magnolia sat up, "Oh, he's here."

"Go and greet him, then! I guess you can eat your breakfast downstairs afterall." She gave Magnolia a kiss on her forehead and moved the tray.

She smiled and scrambled out of bed and streaked to the stairs, taking them down two at a time. She raced towards him and threw herself on him, wrapping around him so she didn't slide down, You looked pleased. She observed, of course, she looked pretty pleased too.
