She gasped at his sudden movement, she hadn't expected him to strike out at her like that. But then she realized that he hadn't hit her, just grabbed her and he was--She threw her head back and let out a gut wrenching scream. Tyran's power met with the tiny fragment of Goldie that had survived. Her utter rage at being taken and her complete hatred of the woman who'd turned her into this....thing had successfully stored a tiny pebble of Goldie inside of Lust. She was locked away, curled in a fetal position, waiting for any oppurtunity to break free. When she felt Tyran, she stirred and suddenly clung to it like it were a lifeline. Lust dug her nails into Tyran's shoulder and thrashed around wildly in his grip. Obsidian smirked, "Oh, I'm sorry." She said in mock sympathy, "Did you think it was going to be easy." Obsidian disappeared and reappeared behind Sloth and slached at the girl's back with her black bladed arm.

Tyran felt blood trail down his shoulder, but he gritted his teeth and continued, Goldie, You'll have to help me... he said trying to call out to her, I can't do this without you.
Sloth cried out, quickly turning around and lashing out at her with her newly formed dragon tail as the grey power turned back and shot towards the dark fae.

"If you can't block it, redirect it..." Remus muttered to himself as the blades began to approach. He jumped forward to meet one of them. The first blow sent it straight up; the second side of Remus's weapon then moved to knock it back at Wrath.

Now fully awake in Lust, Goldie clung to her affection for Tyran, clung to it like she clung to Tyran's power and fed on it. Her strength was growing, like a chick struggling against shell of it's egg, Goldie began pushing her way out. Lust let out another gut wrenching scream, this feeling in her chest, like something was going to break out of it...

[Yeah...the best thing you could do is go to the Bastet base and wait until the chaos ends. It's almost over anyway. I'll have Cara hang out with you^^ And I posted for Sloth earlier Scarlett.]
As soon as Tyran felt her presence, his efforts were doubled. It was working, much to his surprise and relief. It was actually working...

Aurora swayed, drinking it all in. She could see it all, she was so far away from her body that she didn't hear her own delirious giggle. ((I knew that.... sweatdrop )) She collided with air and more black dust. Obsidian appeared behind her again, she knew she wouldn't be able to keep this up for long, she was holding the spell at bay but it would slow her down soon, best to do as much damage as possible. She slashed at Sloth's back again. All the effort in the world couldn't keep this egg from hatching, Mistress-- Goldie exploded back into her body and immediately set about taking over again, filling her lips and her fingers and her toes, crushing Lust, operating on her own power now that she was strong enough. She sighed and relaxed into Tyran's grip, "Ouch..." She mumbled.

Sloth blocked the attack before slashing at her stomach just as the grey power finally began to wrap itself around Obsidian. She grinned before flying backwards, "Try to esacpe Lady Kari's power now. It won't work."

Tyran sighed, pulling back and wincing as her nails finally came out of his shoulders, "I'm....glad you're back."
Kari's fangs lengthened as she sent Dorien across the room, her normal pale eyes now pitch black, It seems you are the same warrior as I remember. she said, walking over to him, The Father I knew wouldn't allow himself to get so...weak. she knelt down and grabbed his neck. the darkness around them slowly crawling up to cover them both, Once I am done with you, I'll make sure that your precious Magnolia joins you! her voice was calm as her nails pierced his neck. She was a far cry from the scheming elf form before. Once her circlet had been taken off, the beast truly took over. As well as that son of yours.

Before Quinn could think to reply to Lina's question Malen disappeared and everyone was on the move again. In his condition, following wasn't a viable option. So, he shooed away the doctors and took a Lotus Meditation position. Closing his eyes and beginning the process, the rest of the world became dead to him. Unless, of course, there were things that he knew he had to take care of.

Kiran had been hiding. Signet rarely allowed for much rest, she had been abusing the safety of the base. If she'd been awake when everyone had dashed off again she might have followed. Things were becoming a little boring, but as usual the city didn't rest or wait for anything. She could feel the faint washes of power, another battle. Too powerful for her to conceivably help with.
Tiredly she wandered into the infirmary area, somewhere she might be able to help a little. It seemed mostly empty, a few of the healers wandering about absent-mindedly preparing, others looking shellshocked. Kiran noticed Quinn curiously. His eyes were closed-- she went to work making up a gurney instead of bothering him.

Quinn opened his eyes after Kiran had turned away. He had been meaning to talk to her ever since the proposal of training had been made. Stepping silently down from his bed, he walked over and quietly began helping her. He said nothing; he kept his mind to himself. He had to gather the words first.
He finally spoke, "I've been meaning to talk to you, Kiran. The proposal for me becoming your teacher was set out some time ago, but nothing was ever finalized. I bring it up now because I may be leaving Signet again soon, and if I'm going to be your teacher you'll have to come with me."

"Well, Kanna seems too busy to bother these days.... How soon will you be going?" She worked carefully rather than quickly. Her actions made it seem like she was holding back part of what she wanted to say, a certain tension to the shoulders. Leaving. Of course she had thought about it, but to actually face it was odd.
