Shazzer So, um... I had to take my mom to the hospital. She couldn't walk without falling over. God... I have no idea how we even made it to the car. I'm not too worried (it's likely an inner ear infection), but I'm still worried, 'cause it could be something else. sad
I had something like that once.. couldn't go about five feet without ending up either on my face or on my rear. Quite a painful experience....
All in all though, it was fun watching the ceiling spin for hours at a time... except not really...
And Val? V3.5 is ebil.. period... go for AD&D, so much simpler and funner ^^

And Val? V3.5 is ebil.. period... go for AD&D, so much simpler and funner ^^ I disagree miss! ^_^ the D20 system has many problem, but it is not evil and no less fun than AD&D! Besides, in my experience too much in the older forms of D&D were constrictive adn over-powered. D20 is a great, versatile system that can easily be adjusted to match anything. If you don't liek a rule, change the numbers. That and it's so damn easy to memorize! Even if you don't know it exactly you can usually get the gist of something and play without the books at all. The only problems I can see usually involve pricings and the weights of objects. ANY game that has objects weight as negligable is asking for trouble. Yeah I'm a bit bias, but hey, I enjoy the system. BEsides, at least D20 is based on something simple, unlike D&D which is based on some dodgy algebraic formula... on a side note: GOOD LUCK SHAZZER'S MOM!

Hello, everyone. I don't know if you remember me. It has been a year or two. ^^'

It seems like this guild has kinda of gone downhill a little since I left. It isn't that active, is it?

sweatdrop The main reason for the inactivity is because of people just getting up and leaving without warning (or very little).
I've been attempting to get it back up and running, gave it a facelift, etc, but to no real avail.

Yeah, inactivity... It's also because people just aren't joining o_o. I guess there aren't that many literates left or something.

I realize that I'm saying this very late, but I hope your mother gets better quickly Shazz. Though mine never had that kind of problem, I can relate to how horrible it feels to not know at first what's happening to a parent. Dunno what else to say without being melodramatic or unknowingly speaking for other people.

Oh, and Val, thanks for posting in Chronicles. I've been piling up profiles but no one had actually posted. I'll try and help too; thinking of making yet another Necromancer in Hana's RP. Can't believe how many Norse Mythology fans there are in here!

I survived my college interview! They liked me. I couldn't believe it! Everybody was so friendly! They were pretty surprised that I came prepared with 3d work though so I recieved some brownie points for that. ( for those that don't know, I am applying for education at Ai Burnaby as an animation student) Unfortuently my success at the interview does not mean I have been enrolled in teh school. what it DOES mean is that I have an inside guy at the school making sure that people pay extra attention to my application. It also helps that I am applying a year early. I will also be recieving assistance in applying for scholarships. I think I'm pretty much set! ^_^
Sorry I'm just really excited to have gotten through this thing alive! lol
Oh! Temra! I've run into you before! Where have you been? Well, wherever you were, I hope you hd a good time!
Gadz, I'm rather nervous about joining a new RP....so far every RP I've joined has gone under rather quickly...Well, save one, but it floundered for 4 months before returning to the surface..... and it might go back down becasue too few players came back after the break.... I'm a jinx! crying

Thanks everyone. She's out and she's okay. Eccch... some viral thing that she'll get over. People need to stop making me worry.
Gaaah, it's so humid. I went running with my little brother (he's eleven) and it's like trying to breathe through a cloud. I think I may have finally found a kindred cultured soul within the family. He likes classical music, acting, singing, dancing, writing, reading...
I even got my violin out yesterday and taught him how to pick out whether a note is in tune or not against a keyboard (I broke my tuner ._.; ). It felt so good to play once my fingers caught up to my brain again.
