Kyoshi smiled and nuzzled Dusk's cheek lightly, shivering at feel of her hands on him. It never cease to amaze him how much she affected him with just her touching him. Or with her looking at him or even talking to him. To have all of those things in one made him happy.

Though, if he was made to give her up so that she could be the world's greatest Queen to these people then he would do it, abeit reluctantly, but no matter he would do so. Only if she had to marry someone it was going to be him or to hell with the elvish people. He loved this woman and would do anything for her to a certain extent.

Gambler frowned. "So....He really is on pills?" What the hell? Why wasn't she told about this? Or anyone told? This wouldn't have happened if people were more honest about things they were doing. It especially upsetted Gambler that there wasn't enough trust within the group to be told this. At the very least this and not someone's life story. It just made it seem like if she was pair off someone with a person who kept these things to themselves, anything bad could happen on the job.

"Whatever, it's not my business right? Right, so when I find him, I'll order him to go to his house and have someone else keep an eye on him since Joker's very underqualified for that, what with his diability and lack of control in stopping one person. Sure...I'll call you when everything is okay and if I fail, I'll be the one to let you know before a big mouth like Eri or anyone else tells you, okay? Sounds good? Good. Later." Gambler said with her words dripping in dry as a desert sarcasm.

Hanging up the phone, the boss walked into the kitchen and patted Joker on the shoulder. "Let's go to Eri's quickly and find Kalore. If he doesn't want to be found then there is nothing I can do but admit failure for something I was never aware of. You weren't aware of it either so, don't worry about it okay?" Joker nodded but was still looking like he was beating himself up over it.

Running another hand through his hair, Rave was silent for a moment before he spoke. “I didn’t know, Gambler. Eri and I concocted these pills, short term and very weak, decades ago. I was told that he had stopped having nightmares, was off of them, and had been off of them for years now. This is new to me, Gambler. I wish that it wasn’t and that I could have known to tell you, but I didn’t know.” The dry sarcasm was hurtful but he sighed once more, speaking softly. “I’m sorry, Gambler… I hope you find him. Don’t order him, though… if he’s with Eri then that’ll backfire and if he’s alone then he’ll just stare at you. Lead him or else not much else will happen.”

Goddess, he was praying that Kalore wasn’t with Eri. If he was with that elf… Rave knew that Eri had been messing with him a little when he had first begun to stop dancing and Eri wanted him back, but hadn’t that stopped? Even Kristopher had come in to stop it… hadn’t he? Or had he made the dose go up? The thought was repulsive but he wouldn’t really put it past the man. After everything else that had happened… something like that was nothing.

When she hung up, Rave was left leaning against the wall as he rested his head back. He was trying to look at this in a positive manner but it was impossible to do something like that. All the man could imagine was Kalore back with Eri and if Monty saw that… damn, he didn’t want to think of what it was that that would cause. Kalore was with Eri, though, passed out on his bed - - clothed - - with the pink haired elf looking near giddy. So he had gotten back his blonde… and it seemed like he wanted another drug once more. It had been a while since Kalore had asked for them, a long, long, long while, so who was he to refuse him?

Gambler and Joker had stood outside of Eri's club, staring at it. Rave's words echoed in the bosses head as she sighed with regret in speaking to Rave the way she did. It just upsetted her that no one told her that Kalore was in need of meds. Would she have asked what they were for? Yes because she wanted to be sure they were for something important and not just to get a good fix.

Shaking her head, the woman put on her game face. The one face that said she was going to get her way whether the results of it was pretty or not. The one face that said she was a force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah it was good to be underestimated but not today, she was tired as hell and therefore cranky and ready to bite peoples heads off. Her target was going to be Eri's head.

Walking through the doors of the club, Gambler with a silent Joker stood in the middle of the place. "Eri! Come here! Now!." She snapped, loud enough for her voice to echo around the place.

There was an annoyed look on Eri’s features as he heard Gambler’s voice, having heard them come through the door before she even opened her mouth. Sighing softly, though, he tucked Kalore in, making sure that his room wasn’t found as he began to walk downstairs. There was no give away on his face as he watched the two, raising a brow at the oddly silent Joker. “Yes, Gambler? Please don’t shout… we can all hear you quite well…” In fact, there had been a flinching elf that had the bad luck to be standing next to Gambler when she came in. Poor dear. That went mostly unnoticed, though, as most people began to go back to work, cleaning up the club quickly so that they could go home. “What do you need?”

The angel considered Eri silently before she gave him a narrowed eyed look. "What I need is for Kalore to be in Joker's house, right now." If Eri so much as tell her that Kalore isn't there or doesn't want to see anyone she was going to unleash serious hell. Better her unleash it than Monty because if that demon finds out the extent of this he was going to blow this place and possibly the majority of the elven world to pieces.

Raising a brow at the woman, his lips twitched into something nearing a smile, “Oh? Then go get him. Isn’t he with the redheaded one?” Eri wasn’t acting innocent or acting like he was any different than he had been just a bit ago. He simply watched the woman carefully, “If he’s not around then I don’t know how to help you. When he isn’t required to work here, he tends to avoid this place like the plague thanks to Rave’s little contract.” Which was all completely true. Kalore tended to avoid the place; that didn’t mean all the time.

Gambler twitched but then smiled. "Fine Eri. Play coy with me. I'm going to be risking something very big just to get that damned elf back from you." The angel turned to Joker with a arrogant look. "Go get Monty. Tell him what's happened with Kalore and tell him to come here since Eri refuses to give me the elf away from this environment over something this ridiculous, thanks to Eri's own big mouth." The insane man nodded as he bowed to Gambler, as if she was some great Empress and walked out of the club, heading towards all the hot spots that he knew the demon would be located in.

"Now then, how about you give me a drink while we wait for the demon to come and pretty much blow you and this club to sh*ts for all I care. It will be your fault that me and Rave are on opposing ends since I'm trying to do this as calmly as possible without you f*cking it up worse. He's here since this would be the only place that everyone would look last for him." That was something she made up since she didn't know where the other locations, other than Kalore's home that she knew he would go to and obviously he wasn't at home.

Eri watched the woman in front of him and soon was simply laughing. “Well now… this is news to me.” He shook his head with another amused look before he tilted his head to the side. “I don’t think I will give you a drink, Miss Gambler, but you may buy one. Our lovely Kit is on a vacation so I don’t know if the drinks will be the same. Same price, however, as before.” The amused look was still there as Eri wasn’t fazed at all by her words. “And are you sure that this is the last place he could be? How about his father’s home? His mother’s grave? His aunt’s property? Kit’s home, Cecilia’s old hovel… I can tell you many places if you’re unable to track him down yourself.” Another chuckle and another shake of the head and Eri was leaning against the banister of the stairs, watching her, amused.

“And if the demon burns down my club then this is still elvish property, Gambler, along with the fact that we’re under contract. I had Rave add in the idea of your group being connected with the ‘higher powers of harm’ that he protects me against. Kalore helped, of course, so he didn’t have to complain too much.” And Rave hadn’t allowed it, actually, but Gambler didn’t know that nor was the logic flawed in the world of the elves. So… it counted, sadly. “Bring your demon, Miss Gambler, but I don’t think that you’ll find Kalore here. Maybe another day? If he’s so estranged from your group now, maybe I can get him to dance again… He’s quite lovely when he does it…” His eyes looked distant but underneath that distance was a look of nothing but pure amusement.

The angle crossed her arms. "Really? Then you have failed to know that he is still a part of my group and that part of that agreement was that should I need the elf, he is still mine, regardless if he is working for you on his designated time here or not. Through Rave, he still works for me therefore his well being and every part of him belongs to me until I give Rave and his two elves under his command leave of me. That's not going to happen anytime soon so give me the damned elf that your hiding his this blasted place and doing god knows what to him or else I'm...."

The doors of the club slammed open, breaking off the door frame as a soaking wet demon who happened to look highly annoyed and pissed off was steaming with a killer sword that he had almost cut Gambler to bits with, stared down at Eri with murderous intent. "Or else I'm going to tear this place apart for the idiot elf for coming to the wrong place during his stupid moment." He snarled low.

Gambler didn't look over at Monty. "You should have cooperated with me. Now I can't do anything about controlling a mean demon that you pissed off by not just letting him have the last word. Sheesh, you ruin too many good things Eri." She drawled, stepping away as Monty came closer to Eri, sword at the ready to cut the elf's head off.

By the time Monty came in, most people were already out and gone from the area. They had known that something was up but none of them that were there by the time that Gambler got there had really seen Kalore. They had seen a blonde but it could have been Kit for all most of them knew. Eri still wasn’t fazed as he gave a bow; elegant and mocking all at the same time. “Search and conquer if that’s what you wish, demon. I have nothing to hide and you’ve already disrupted the peace here. If you’re looking for your elf then I would come on a different day. I haven’t seen him yet though… I can’t wait until I do.” Chuckling again, he shook his head before he straightened, crossing his arms.

“Now… from what I’ve heard, demon… the elf isn’t exactly having a ‘stupid moment’… and is this really the wrong place? He has friends here… people who won’t turn him away and call him cruel names because of a habit that he’s tried to break. People here help him break said habit… I’m sure once Kit come back and sees him, if he’s here of course, then he’ll be healed… Then again, who knows? If he’s been hurt enough to leave his oh-so-loved demon… then who knows what he’ll do?” The man knew that he was in trouble with both the demon and angel so… why not have fun with it? They couldn’t kill him for he was someone that could put up more of a fight than anyone around. His abilities weren’t known but one very scary one. Time control; something he had shown the first time Monty got Kalore out of the club.

Monty raised a brow. "What would make you think I would believe that you don't have the elf here already? For the most part he wouldn't want to be around anyone. For another if he's so distraught he's going to possibly be stupid and come here thinking that it's the safest place in the world when really he's just putting himself in more harm. But your right, he has friend's who won't turn him away or call him names when he's earned them. Instead he's going to be in a place where everyone babies him, coddles him as if he was truly a child of three." He drawled but came towards Eri to tower over him.

"You are keeping that idiot elf from my bosses time when every man power is necessary during a time. Would you like me to just cut you down to pretty ribbons for disobeying part of the agreement? Then again, perhaps I don't want a weakling like him on my team. I hope your pleased with yourself elf, you ruined a good thing." Even if the demon wasn't helping matters at all but he was more honest when pissed off and everything generally came out worse that would end up for the best.

"However..." He punched Eri hard in the stomache, twisting his fist to crunch those ribs. "That doesn't mean I will not beat the living sh*t out of you for lying elf. It doesn't become you and you will never earn a place next to your Goddess." He growled, loudly in his ear.

Eyes narrowing, Eri’s smile was damn near cruel as he spoke, “The agreement was that I didn’t take him from your time but I’ve done no such thing. I’ve had all three elves and even our lovely Dusk and Kit explain to me what they all have concluded from Gambler’s rules and it seems like if they need to quit then it’s allowed. She is no tyrant… unless that rule is no longer there?” Tilting his head to the side, he continued to look amused at the man in front of him. “If he’s here then he’s here on his own accord. If you needed him then you shouldn’t have called him something that he really wasn’t… A druggie? Hardly. A recovering one, yes…” His words were interrupted by the punch as he gasped, eyes widening. He hadn’t expected to actually be hit…

Eri could take a punch, however, as he doubled over but kept himself controlled. As Monty was growling in his ear, his words were low, just for the man in front of him. “You’ve lost a damn good f*ck, Demon… And to think, I had thought that I had almost lost him… Thanks for being such a hothead.” Snickering, he placed his hands on Monty’s chest, the nails lengthening as they tore through skin, shoving him away as the nails went deeper than healthy, the tearing of his claws coming sideways from the man were deep and ragged. He smirked as he was soon up away from the other, tilting his head to the side. “Now… From your own terms, Miss Gambler, Kalore left on his own accord. He has no contract with you and no ties with Monty from what the demon has claimed. As another employer of Kalore… it’s my job to make sure that he’s okay.”

Chuckling softly again, he continued to look amused. “The situation is bad with me, yes… I’ll admit that… but he won’t kill himself with me. He won’t starve himself and break down with me…” No, he would be too drugged up to do anything like that. “He will with you and your demon. If he’s here and if he comes to me and stays then it’s none of your concern. If you continue to cause damage here then… well, I can make sure a war breaks out. Whatever problem you have going on now apparently doesn’t need any more problems added to it, correct?” He looked smug as he sighed again, stretching. It hurt to do so but… oh well. “If you want Kalore then track him down. If you want him back then talk to him… but I don’t think he wants to go back... not if the rumors are true on what your little demon said to my blonde one.”

Gambler listened and inwardly twitched. Though she nodded. There was nothing she could do and she couldn't, wouldn't go against her own words. "Fine then. He still has to answer to Rave. Once Rave is out of my employ then I could care less what happens to anyone since all this mess is a thorn in my side." The angel had bigger fish to fry than Eri. "Though I can't let it go that you drew Monty's blood when all he did was punch you. As far as I'm concerned, whatever he does I didn't see."

The demon bared his teeth after regaining his footing and growled loudly, rushing at Eri to slam him against the wall and grab his throat, holding tightly to the point where the slightest pressure could possibly crush his airways. Holding him there with on hand, he watched him like a predator would his prey and smiled a cruel smile as he used his mind to summon knives that were hidden on his body to levitate around him.

Bringing up one hand he held it up against the wall, one knife burying itself to the hilt in his wrist. Then with the other one. The last few were spinning around them as the demon leaned closer. "I don't take kindly to bleeding by a runt like you elf. If you want a war then do so with me. I promise you a worthy death for your pathetic kind." He murmured softly as if Eri was a deer he meant to calm from running away.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 17, 2011 7:28 pm

Gasping loudly, panic finally began to set in Eri as his hand twitched, the pain running down his arm as he felt his body being stabbed. “Son of a…” Whispering his words, he glared at him before a kick sent the man far from him. “Goodbye, then, Gambler. Do know that without one of the trio, you won’t have your Rave for long either.” He typically had no problems with Gambler but Eri was getting pissed… really pissed. Before he could get out of the man’s hold completely, however, his ear twitched as he glanced away, hearing something. He didn’t think that Kalore should have woken up by now but he was constantly forgetting the blonde’s hearing…

“Kalore.” Whispering that, he glanced back as he made sure that he looked like the innocent one in the situation that they were in. It wasn’t that hard to do seeing as he was the one that was stabbed in the hand with a freaking knife. Watching the blonde almost glide down the steps in the same leather and mesh outfit that he had started the day in, Eri was struggling now. “Kalore, get him off of me, please.” Respectful and playing the victim, he watched as Kalore was standing beside Gambler, an almost dead look in his eyes as he was about five feet from all of them. “What’s going on?” His voice was soft but not meek; damaged and torn, but not meek. The breakdown and the screaming at Joker had ruined his voice and it would be a bit before he got it back.

Sighing once more, he shook his head again before he glanced over at Eri but he couldn’t look at Monty; it just hurt too much to do so. “Just reverse and stop it all…” Muttering his words, he sighed before he faced Gambler, speaking low now on purpose so that he didn’t hurt his voice more. “Miss Gambler, I don’t know what it is that’s going on, what I’m going to do, how things will be. I will go with you for you’re my boss but I just don’t know at the moment.” Eri had messed with the time space around Monty and him, quickly moving so that he was near Kalore, hand healed but Monty also moved back where he had been before. It was creepy that he could do so but… it wasn’t something that he could do often. He didn’t show the pain, however, as he tried to touch Kalore but the elf wouldn’t have it.

He glanced over at Monty finally, his green eyes dull but not at all drugged. Kalore couldn’t look at him for long, however, as he had to simply watch Gambler. Thankfully, Eri was called away to work once again but that left Kalore with two people that he really didn’t want to be stuck with. Gambler, his boss, and Monty… the guy who had figured out how to tear him apart quicker and more than anyone else had done. It hurt so badly but… what was he supposed to do?

Gambler narrowed her eyes on Eri, taking what he said about not having Rave for long as a threat. Though she didn't say anything because it would have been a waste of breath. Instead her gaze went to Kalore. Sighing softly, Gambler threw her hands in the air. "You know what? I quit. I don't care anymore. I just don't because I'm not going to force you to do anything you don't want to do Kalore. I get that you don't really like being in a group. I also get that you don't like any of us. You never really have. But what I don't get is why you would hide something like this from me?"

She gave him a sharp look. "If anything I would have liked to know that you were on something because your well being is the most important thing to me. That in itself is like showing no trust or respect. Even a little wouldn't hurt to give but if this is where you want to be, then I won't say another word. I'm not defending the demon's actions or anything, but I'm going to defend mines so when you want someplace to go, my door is open to you always. Just don't expect me to pretend that this didn't happen." The boss rubbed the bridge of her nose gently, trying to starve away a growning headache, her skin starting to look more unhealthy from the lack of rest and all this excitement.

"Look Kalore. I don't want you to stay in a place just because you and someone else can't get over something or make it work. But you control your own decisions. Not me." The woman looked to the ground and started to walk away. "You have my number if you need anything." She said, wanting to be the biggest a**hole in the world to make the elf go back to the house but knew that wouldn't be good.

The demon had walked away while Gambler was speaking to Kalore since that would take the attention away from him to leave. He didn't want to be there. Not ever. What was the point? If he didn't get to beat the sh*t out of someone then why stay around?
