All of the rage inside the demon flushed out of him, making him fall to his knees! The demon on brought down on his knees by his own actions that he personally went along with and yet....It hurt. His stomache churned and his chest hurt severely. Why? Why did he have to feel anything? Life was fine without him feeling anything other than anger and hate. Life was fine without everyone being around him often and bothering him.

Yes he was the one who started the relationship but it was the fact that Kalore had hidden that knowledge of himself still using those pills that pissed him off. It pissed him off to no extent because if he was able to tell Kalore to lay off it, that he had nothing to worry about....It would be thrown in his face.

It was hours before someone was able to check up on Kalore and that was only because Rave had needed to ask him something. Most people didn't randomly go to Monty and now he was stuck being at a loss from some information. It was rare that he didn't know something about elvish culture but... Kalore did have his moments. But he hadn't been able to get an answer from him. Frowning, Rave called again. He didn't answer. "What the hell...?" Whispering that, the stoic elf was out of sight once more as he leaned against the wall, calling Gambler. Kalore always answered his phone... and Rave had been calling for a while. Even when he was with Monty he would jsut click it to voicemail but this time it just kept ringing. Kalore never did that. "Gambler... Have you heard from Kalore? I haven't been able to get a hold of him."

The boss held the phone against her and listened to Rave, bitting her lip softly. "Um....Is this the same Kalore who's blonde and funny?" She asked, trying to not answer with anything that might cause more trouble for....someone. Twitching, the woman sighed softly. Telling Rave everything that Kalore had told her, "That was the last I heard from him. I don't know if....." What did she know? No one told her anything anymore.

Frowning at first, it wasn’t long before Rave’s eyes were narrowed, “Gambler…” Almost growling at the other, it was obvious that he didn’t like this ‘being kept in the dark’ thing but once Gambler told him what had happened that she knew… his blood turned cold. “Monty did…” He shook his head, trying to make sense of this. Didn’t those two like each other though? He frowned more as he heard about them going to Eri’s but he knew that that had to be it. “Get to Monty and see what you can find out from him. I’m going to go track down Kalore.” He needed to make sure that the other was actually okay… if not… He didn’t want to think of how Kalore could be if he was truly hurt. Again.

Flinching at the growl, Gambler nodded at what Rave said though he didn't see it. "Alright. I'm not promising anything will come of it." If this was something that ended up bad then chances of finding out anything with the demon was slim to none. Depending on how foul his mood is.

Rave took in a calming breath, knowing that he shouldn’t be snapping at the woman that he cared so much about. “I’m sorry, Gam… It’s just… I’m worried about my friend.” That was the best way that he could explain it as he closed his eyes once more, thinking about what it was that they could do. “Could you… Do you think that you could try then? I just… If this is really bad, I’m worried about what Kalore will do. When he really cares about something and this happens… it’s not a good turn out.” Either he does something really stupid or… does something really stupid. There wasn’t really another option to this.

Biting her lip, Gambler nodded. "I understand Rave. I'll try." She whispered, thinking that if this truly was a huge thing, then there might be no hope in ever getting anything out of that stone cold demon. "I'll have my phone on me if you need anything."

“And I shall have mine.” He sighed softly before he composed himself more as his shadows were beginning to fan out. There were a few places that he knew to check for Kalore and those were where the shadows were going. He wasn’t going to be nice and polite this time. He had been that before and he had found Kalore with cut hair and twenty pounds lighter. He didn’t want that again. “I love you, Gambler.” The words made him smile just a bit, knowing that he meant every word. “If you can’t get anything from him then leave him be. I just want to find Kalore and know what happened. I shall speak with you soon.” After her reply, he hung up and began to search for Kalore, quickly and efficiently.

Gambler's heart squeezed for Rave at the sound of those three letter words that she would never have thought the elf would say to her but he did and she wanted with all her power to get something out of Monty so that they could piece together what the hell was going on. "I love you." She whispered again to herself, to Rave through her heart.

Yet all emotion died away quickly as she looked sharp at her office. Fine. It was time to clock out and now she had to get to the bottom of this from Monty's side. Without further ado, Gambler disappeared in thin air, floating through the air since there was no point in hiding her powers from the world, now that Sin discovered their existance and threatened it.

Shaking her head, the woman appeared in front of Monty's shed door. Knocking sharply she waited for the demon to answer the door. After a few minutes the demon slammed it open and glared daggers at her. "What the hell do you want?" "I want to know what the hell you did to Kalore?" "I did nothing to the elf. He brought it on himself for being a damned liar." Without any warning he slammed the door in her face. That just didn't make sense. Kalore wasn't a liar......Not that she knew of.

And Kalore wasn’t a liar, or at least not intentionally. He hadn’t meant to lie to the man but he really hadn’t been lying when he had told him that he didn’t feel the need to use the pills when he was around the man. He just didn’t use them as often. A lot of times he would wake up, covering his mouth so that he didn’t scream, and be thankful that Monty was off training or something. He didn’t want the man to know about all of his problems. Actually, he didn’t want anyone to know about his problems. At all. But that had gone down the toilet the moment that Eri spoke and he knew it. Now the elf was huddled on his kitchen floor, against the counter once more as he didn’t know what else to do.

It had taken Rave a while, but he had finally been able to track down the elf, soon frowning the moment he noticed that Kalore wasn’t answering his door. He knew that he was there… but why wasn’t he answering? He had to know who it was… but Rave frowned more as he knocked harder. Kalore still didn’t answer. Shaking his head again, he used his shadows to get him through the locked door and moved to be able to find the blonde. The sight was… shocking.

Eyes wide, Rave knelt down beside Kalore but he didn’t get a reaction. There was no crying, there were no tears - - at least not anymore - - and he didn’t see any emotion in the normally bright green eyes. Hues dull, Rave was… concerned. He normally knew what to do with his friend but this time he was at a loss. Kalore wouldn’t talk to him, wouldn’t register that he was even there, and Rave had to wonder just what it was that Monty and Kalore had fought about. He wasn’t arrogant enough to believe that Kalore had just been a victim in this for Monty had to have reacted for a reason, but they had all seen that Monty didn’t exactly react the best half the time…

Coughing up blood and on the ground, Gambler glared up at the demon. She had stirred up the hornet's nest in him and was paying for it since she was somewhat still weak and well....She was still tired and had said some bad things to piss him off. The demon snarled, raging again as he kicked the boss in her face, making her fly backwards to land on her back.

Turning on his heel, he went to grab his sword that was a long, thick sword that had a red orb at the end of the hilt with dragon heads facing towards each other where the blade began. Stalking Gambler he pointed it at her throat. "I should have done this in the very beginning Gambler. I should have done away with you so the existance of elves would never have come to pass." He growled.

It felt good to unleash himself now, especially on Gambler since Kalore had enough sense in him to leave. Now he was going to do her in and it was going to feel good, now that his savage side was finally getting released into the world.

Kalore wasn’t answering but Rave had been able to get the man at least up and off of the floor before he moved to get him into his bed. Looking around, he set out some food and drink for the blonde, already recognizing this form of the man. He didn’t want to alert anyone else but… this wasn’t good. This really wasn’t good. His friend had told him nothing of what had happened but he had been able to see some form of emotion in the man’s eyes. The emotions that he had seen had torn Rave’s heart in more pieces than he could count. What had happened between the two? He knew that he shouldn’t but… he was half tempted to go to Monty himself.

Shaking his head, he made sure all sharp objects weren’t in plain view or obvious places before he began walking, calling Gambler to see if she had gotten any more progress in the demon than what he had gotten with Kalore. He was walking to take more time and to make sure that he could still go somewhere. So far he was moving in the direction of Monty’s shed, not knowing where else the man would be. All of this was happening at a bad time, though, seeing as he wanted to help with Monty and Kalore… but he also had to get a hold of Kyoshi and give him a message from Dusk. Crap. Just too much going on at once!

Gambler was curled up in a fetal position, looking up at Monty. Still she looked at him with a challenging gaze. The angel shouldn't have done that but she refused to take up arms against him when there was no reason to fight in this era of human time. There was no point in having one of her best people damaged by her hands. So, she stayed like that, letting the monster in the demon run it's course. This to her was nothing but a defense mechanism about what the demon was truly feeling.

Yet this was seriously bad time when the demon had the pushed Gambler on to her back and lifted her chin with his foot to get a good view of her neck. Sadly, Joker came out and froze. "Monty! No!" He shouted as the sword was starting to swing downward, Gambler's unflinching gaze on her demon.

Rave was there before Joker had even shouted as his own blade was out in the open, something that rarely was seen. Eyes dark with his own shadows, the dark elf was holding his position perfectly as an obsidian blade was in view with the markings of his kind. Blue etchings littered the center of the blade but he paid no attention as he simply held his block of Monty’s own sword. “Put down your blade, Monty…” There was no anger in the elf’s voice but a calm and cautious tone that he didn’t have all that often anymore. The tone was almost dead to the world as his body stayed poised to block and parry again if need be. He didn’t want to attack or act like he was going to attack the demon for he didn’t wish to continue this. But… if he had to.. then he would. But rave really didn’t want to. “What’s going on, Monty?”

The demon snarled at he slapped Rave's sword away from him as he stood near his victim protectively. Joker was inching toward them very slowly with his hands up in front of him in a none threatening way. Gambler just layed there watching Monty and put up a hand for Rave to hold back. "None of your damned business elf." He snapped with a fierce expression. "I don't answer to the likes of you."
