" she didn't finish her sentence. "of course. . . she wouldn't come. . ." she said turning her head slowly away from kaya.

Chloe's response blipped on Kaya's Pokenav a short while later.

"Thanks again, girl," Chloe grinned, giving the dragon a hug, before recalling Alkaid back into her Pokeball. She made her way to the Pokecenter, making a quick stop to the PC box.

Exchanging Alkaid for Kaze, Chloe made a swift trip outside, summoning the Charizard.
"Hey, Kaz, sorry for not having you out for such a long time," Chloe apologized, as the Charizard rumbled his displeasure.
"I'm going to raise some of my other Pokemon for a while, but rest assured, when we go after Lance, you'll be there," she promised with a wink. Kaze nodded, fangs showing as he gave a grin. He was more than eager to teach the dragon master a lesson.
"In the meantime, I got ya this," Chloe smiled, offering Kaze the mushroom she had picked in her travels. Kaze sniffed it curiously, before chomping it down in one bite.
