Remus continued training, his blade coming only breadths from his limbs. Every now and then, the blade came close enough to blow his hair.

The walk was surprisingly short to Lina's perspective. She had assumed there would be many 'talks' about her chosen patner, but no one had made any move to do so. Maybe there were some perks to being a leader. Lina quietly slipped into the training room, barely making a sound as she closed the door and watched Remus train before a thought ran into her mind. She glanced at the daggers before she leaned against the wall.

Troden looked at the blade that was given to him by the Tenth Leader so long ago and smirked as he used it to cut his palm, the blood somehow absorbing the dark blood as it fell upon it. The blade began to glow red as Troden looked into it, his eyes glowing the same color. I know you hear me Great One...let us speak as teacher and student one last time before we become enemies...

Remus didn't hear Lina come in. He continued to slice the air in front of him. He was in his own little world at the moment.

She bided her time before she looked at the daggers again. They disappeared and she was not surprised to feel them in her hands. Let us see how you react to the element of surprise... she thought as she suddenly let them fly, the blades hurtling towards him. Oh, she knew they if he didn't move, they would indeed hurt him, but she figured he could handle it...

Remus heard the whistling of the blades. At the last second, he turned around, spinning the blade in an arc. He felt a razor thin cut on his left forarm, no more than a papercut would have left. "Well... that was close."

Oh, Lina wasn't done yet. Three more daggers flown in the opposite direction, easily hiding the blur the ran past his body before coming up behind him ready to kick him squarely in the back.

Remus saw where the daggers were coming from, but then where was the person that... His eyes widened in recognition. He fell flat and swept his leg in an arc behind him.

She fell backwards, landing hard on the floor, the daggers flying past their heads. After catching her breath, she began to laugh, looking at the daggers now embedded in the wall, "Nicely done..."

Remus looked like he couldn't decide whether to put the sword down or keep it in reach. "Thanks, is there more of that coming or are you done for now?" He was breathing hard and trying not to laugh.

Lina slowly looked up and sighed, "I am...uncertain yet. But I do know that something will happen." she looked into his eyes before she laughed once more, "I believe it will be hard for me to stop being a leader when I'm alone with you...but I will try."
