As she kicked, she pondered the answer. "Hmmm.... If you dont try, you will never complete the task at hand? Or is it something more like... you will never know unless you try?" They were close, but different at the same time. She wondered f she would get it. She waoted for his rerply.... she was surprised he didn't bark at her for getting the previous one wrong... she was expecting another comment on how stupid she was... in which she would have sent one right back.

Thinking Katagi got it he instantly slipped and fell into the water face first. "D-damnit!" Being wet would make the training even tougher for him, the large splash would make the water bugs swim away from katagi and the waves katagi made would bring them back onto him. "G-gah! get them off!" He had a scared face as he began to splash like a mad man until he grabbed onto land and took himself out of the water. "This is going to be tough...Focus the chakra to the feet...first step..." He took the first step onto the top of the water. "Here we go..."

Sakumo nodded. "That's right: If you never try, you will never complete the task at hand. A very wise lesson for a shinobi. The next one is: A frog in a well does not know the great sea." Sakumo new that he had started to hard, that's why the previous one was so easy. Now he was now increasing the diffilculty, step by step.

".... Would that be something close to... 'Someone who is confined to one village wont survive anywhere else?' Because they dont know what the world is like other than where they are from?" She was starting to get into these mataphor things... she lost the harsh edge to her tone as well. Focusing on her current task and the riddles at once didn't leave room for sarcasm... not that she needed it right now.

"Indeed......now the next one: A bee to a crying face." Sakumo had chosen a more difficult saying. It was time to level things up.

Shuiro pondered that one for a while. This one was most definately harder... "A bee to a crying face... A bee to a crying face? Huh..." Denerlly a bee to a crying face is considered something to be scared of, whether the bee was there beforehand or after the child, I'm guessing, was crying...So what would a shinobi fear? The kunai at their throat? No... Shinobi are not afraid to die... well, some are but they push it aside... The bee represents 'the threat' or 'the enemy' and the crying face is obviously 'the shinobi'. So what does it mean?

She still couldn't figure it out as she kept at the exercise. "I'm not sure about that one sensei. I have an idea on what the bee and crying face could represent, but I dont understand what the metaphore could mean..." She was dissappointed in herself... she really wanted to figure it out. He was probably gonna say she was stupid or something... She wasn't looking forward to that, but she would be ready...

"Okay...another step now..." he gently took his other foot which had chakra shooting out to prevent him from falling through the first time. "I'm on top of deep water now...." He looked back at his sensei to see him swatting the bugs like before. "Gah...stop being side tracked...i need to get this done..." he said as he used the other foot to step foward also.

"ARGH!" he yelled out as he splashed into the water, he could feel the bugs swim onto him. "W-what the hell are these things? Why do I even need to do it here?" He swam back to sure to put the chakra back into his feet and try again by putting his two feet on top of the water with his chakra exiting his feet.

He slipped and fell into the water as the chakra in his feet failed, it felt weird walking on water as it felt like a solid floor. It's amazing what humans chakra could do...now only if he could do it once again. Going back on land, he turned around to take one step on the surface of the water hoping he wouldn't fall into it like his past few tries.

"Oh man..." he sighed as he fell into the water and crawled back out to land. "Chakra to the feet..." he said as he tried to channel his chakra to his feet and took one step onto the water.

"Finally..." he said as he was standing on water with the help of his chakra. "Okay second step..." he said as he moved one foot out and followed by the other if it worked.

Katagi was able to walk on the water luckly but the further he got the deeper the water got. Taking the next two steps bravely he would hope he wouldn't fall to his doom.

"Are you serieus?......... I INCREASE THE INCREASE THE TRAINING WITH ONE LEVEL AND YOU CAN KEEP UP?! OH, GOD! THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE MOST STUPID KID ON THE ACADEMY!!! Training? YES, THE OLD SAYING WERE A TRAINING, A MENTAL TRAING, TRYING TO SEE IF YOU CAN DO 2 THINGS AT A TIME!!!" His voice was so loud that even the ground trembled! This was the moment Sakumo was waiting for, a moment of weakness, a moment he could use and he enjoyed it!
(Dice check to see if you can maintain your position or fall to the ground, due his voice. DC=12 + balance skill)

(My roll is on page 39 of the recruitment thread. And I didn't know if I was supposed to put my balance on the DC or the d20. Either way... I win)
Shuiro didn't even flinch at the sound of his voice, she was expecting it after all. And she had something to throw right back at him. Continuing to beat the boulder she replied," Ya know sensei... you really need to take an anger management class..... or sometherapy, cuz there is something seriously wrong with you. I assume you had a poor childhood?" Her voice was very calm... she was even surprised at herself.
