Had she blinked? Fallen asleep? As air filled her lungs, muscles stirred across her upper and lower back, it certainly fight like that might have been the case. Sounds popped and laughed and spoke and rustled through her ears. Those hadn't been there moments before. The darkness, the silence... the tower. In that instant, she remembered. The pillar, the Voice, her status as a fragment of another, someone else in the tower with her. But. She was still here.
Where was..?
Her eyes opened, the light of the pillar making her blink a few times to adjust. It... was all back to normal. Her senses, anyways. The facts of the situation were still... fact. There was no time to dwell on this though, nerves prickling as she registered the sensation of cold-- and someone squeezing her hand. Purple eyes wide, she turned quickly towards the source, struck by the reality of sight. A boy. There was no hiding how her eyes skimmed across him, curious to finally see whom it was she'd held so tight to in her--what she assumed to be--final moments. Pale skin, horns, tail... cold, icy. Not a bad combination. Her expression softened, happy to see he'd... survived. Her tail curled towards his legs, an act of affection in response to his words. Thank you. Her mouth opened to... well. She wasn't quite sure what she was first intending to say. When he lifted her hand like that and kissed it, it effective cut off her thought process.
....how long did they have here again, exactly?
Even if they did not truly exist, she felt more alive in that moment than she had in... quite some time. "It... it's very... nice to meet you, Spinar." Her voice came out slowly, an airy laughter accenting it. A smile tugged and pushed at her cheeks. "I am... Agsilved." It had struck her as awkward to give her full name, but to only give the nickname did not seem proper. If only there was more time...
Her eyes shut briefly. Find others. She glanced around quickly, trying to find others from the Violet Kingdom. Others she felt she knew. And yet. The idea of letting go of his hand made... her quite sad. "Yes... but...--"
It was then she noticed another girl behind him. Her eyes widened slightly before a reassuring smile flickered into place. He had others to speak to, as did she. Her wings settled around her shoulders, tail moving back to sway behind her. "I should go... speak to some of the others." She gave his hand a squeeze. "We... can speak again."
It was an act of impulsive, reckless behavior. But it was easy to lean towards him and lift herself up, letting her lips lightly rest on his cheek before leaning back and stepping away. He had been there when she thought herself alone, given her comfort in a moment where she had nothing else. A kiss and a smile seemed insignificant against the weight of that, but it was all she could give in thanks.
If only they had more time...
Turning from Spinar, and nodding in brief greeting to the girl behind him, she began to search in earnest for those she knew. Fragments, but people to her. Lives to her. In this world of fragments and false memories, they were friends. They were people she had to say good-bye to one last time.
"Joachim? Temes?" Her voice rose, hoping to reach them. "Where are you? You'd best not be waking up in some water somewhere..." She swore, that last part was meant as a joke....
They were not the first she saw, but she did recognize one. Millie. A warm smile lit her face as she approached the Knight, resting a hand on the other girl's shoulder. "Aha~ I was wondering if I was the only one here from our... interesting group." Having thought themselves dead and all... "You did well. The chalice, the combat... I know it might not be much to hear now... but you've done well."

Millie had her attention on scanning the crowd for any of the others, so she tensed up a jumped a little when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Meeting a familiar face though, she instantly relaxed. "Thanks." she replied. "Though I'm not exactly a knight anymore am I?" She smirked and gave a little laugh as if it was a joke. None of them had rank.. or colors anymore. Turning to face the room full of people again, she continued with a hint of sadness in her voice, "I'm not entirely sure if what we did was right. Attacking our friends. Waging war on other kingdoms. It seems so strange now, doesn't it?" "I can't even remember what we were fighting for... I'm glad we got this though. I just wish I could find the others one last time."

"But you did," he answered, in a manner that could either be perceived as sultry... or just plain idiotic. But he passionately believed it was the former, just as much as he passionately believed that the only thing missing from the moment was a little bit of music to set the mood. "Has anyone ever told you," he purred, still a breath away from her face, with a strum of the Lute - "Looking round the room, I can tell that you Are the most beautiful girl in the...room. In the whole wide room~~" As if on cue, Song proceeded to hack up a hairball. Nothing Yet I have no regrets and never will

It was more beautiful than the rarest of bird songs, than a thousand practiced elven harps all playing themselves at once. Mimsy might have swooned were she not already in his arms, so she opted instead to thank him for his music by...stopping it, in an act that made perfect sense at the time. The ecstatic squeal she made was muffled as she hastily pressed her lips to his, tightening their embrace as if to say she was not losing him again this time. There was such passion behind her kiss that it seemed she might never let him breathe again; thankfully, she still had a bit to say, and pulled away just long enough to do so. "I had to find you, because...because you're the only one that ever mattered, and your music, and..." She burst into tears, which, combined with her laughter and the quick barrage of kisses she was giving him, definitely didn't make her look crazy at all.

He wasn't sure how he felt about breathing again, but here he was, whole and without pain, breath rising and falling in his chest, bioluminescent eyes peering around as he looked through the room, catching little flickers of familiarity in the faces. It was a little tricky to pull them from the silver that now was worn by everyone, but when you lived most of your . . . psuedo life, second psuedo-life. . . you got used to remembering faces.
Catching sight of the woman who - when he had met her - wore blacks, he breathed a small sigh of relief, having felt a small pang of worry when he finally found his way in, that his attempts to soothe her had left her in the afterlife, stuck with no Elysian to find her.
"Fancy finding you here." He said quietly as he walked up behind her, looming softly, tail swaying behind him. "It's rather beautiful, isn't it, everyone together as they await their walk through the gates to Elysian," He spoke, his voice soft and with a dreamy like feel to it.
"I'm glad you made it."
It didn't matter if she was of whatever Kingdom - they shared something together - a lasting moment, a death of a sort. He was just tired, his fragment had seen enough, but, this little bit of kinship kept him around - her, and the ones known as Remi and Sparrow, were what kept him singing.

Ying was always the more cheerful one, the runner could remember many times when he came home disheartened and upset and how his sister was the one to pull him out of his funk. It felt odd to see the turn of events, the personalty flip. The scowl on her face just didn't look right. the surprised seafoam eyes of Jing widened when he felt the familiar tug on his sleeve, the telltale sign that Ying was trying to get his attention. "What ails you Ying?"

Say what you would about sky elves, but they were great kissers. He remembered her, the girl who was always following him from town to town. In his drunken haze he never found the time to ask her who she was, what she wanted. But he knew now. And he wanted the same thing. Which was to make out a whole lot more. "She's an alchemist, right?" he muttered quietly under his breath to Song, who gave him a long-drawn out sigh of confirmation. The Bard knew the handbook well. 1/26th well, at any rate. He'd memorized all the songs through A in the List of Songs By Profession. "Baby I'm glad you did. Because you see, Mimsy..." He played a few furious notes on the lute, paused, and hastily tuned it. "Nope. Wait. Here we go-" " With a taste of your lips I’m on a ride You're toxic I'm slipping under With a taste of a poison paradise I’m addicted to you Don’t you know that you’re toxic And I love what you do Don’t you know that you’re toxic!!!!" Nothing Yet not ever ok maybe a little bit now

"Aa..." Andrew's remark brought on that old familiar spread of red across her cheeks out of embarrassment. Spunk. Huh? A raised voice so rarely came out of her, but it was a desperate situation after all.
Olivia pulled away from Molan just as Kashi neared, catching him at the very last second. She smiled, the ugly head of jealousy not even making a whisper in her ear. They had cleared that issue anyways, so there was no need.
She made small squeak of a sound when she noticed Andrew had taken her hand again. It felt nice, she realized, looking down at them intertwined. Safe, like such an action always did.
Raja looks like big brother is finally getting some action ;D
phantompanther13 sorry, short. I was like I dunno what to dooo ~(owo)~
Masshiro Well, one thing they can say to each other would be names, or at least... Olivia has no idea what his is OuO;;;

Riley placed Gilly down. She smiled one last time before running off. She had never really done anything spectacular except make noodles before. And she felt a kinship with all the other volunteers, that she hadn't had before. And a closeness to those who she served for a really long time from afar. It was nice, and a glowing feeling she couldn't keep down.
Gilly wanted to see Xiu, she took off at full speed. Wandering from group to group, looking for Xiu. Gilly was filled with happiness at seeing everyone talking and making amends. While the atmosphere was rather somber she couldn't help feel that it was also joyous.
BLAM! Gilly ran right into another girl! "ROSY!" She recognized her from the noodle shop. Gilly had served her many times. She was a really sweet girl. "Miss Rosy, I'm so sorry!" Gilly helped her up. "Have you seen Xiu!? I wanted to talk to her?" Gilly was slightly antsy in her questioning.
The from behind Rosy she saw Xiu. "Oh there she is! Let's go greet her." Gilly walked straight for Xiu, there were many things she wanted to say to her. Mostly she wanted to apologize.
As she was walking up, Gilly noticed her attire was, less than presentable, not fit for greeting her King. She started smoothing down her clothes and slowing her approach. She bit her lip, suddenly at a loss for words.
"Your Empress." Gilly cleared her throat. The words were choking up inside. "YOUR EMPRESS," she said with more gusto, and bowed so deeply her face was touching her knees. "Gilly is sorry she hurt you, um... killed you. I wanted to save you. I hope..." She paused, because tears were beginning to form. "Ihopeyoucanforgiveme!" The words rang out what Gilly was really hoping for.

"I want to celebrate and everything ... I do, but ..." She looked up at her brother with big, sad, cliche eyes. "What about after this?"
Her forehead smacked onto his chest and just remained there. "What if you're not my brother over ... over there?" She gestured to her left, at nowhere in particular, still keeping her head on his chest. "What if I don't even know you- or or- what if there IS no over there?"
She looked up at him. "Get what I mean?"

The worries that Ying had only made him smile wider. It was like her to worry about these things. One of them had to. "If we are not connected, it is what it is." he stated without concern. "Even if we are mortal enemies in the area where shadows cannot live or if those sleeping forms that we saw may all be a ruse, they cant take away our bond here." but he still had to entertain her idea. "Shadows are a funny thing, did you know that Ying." he began, picking her up off the ground. "Even if their owners are not touching each other; given the right light, shadows can still hold hands.""Do you get what I mean?"

After looking for Harland after what seemed like several lifetimes, Alastair was getting frustrated and angry. It wasn't a true anger, it was an anger fueled by fear and anguish. What if he never saw him again? What he never found him before his time ran out? Harland would never know how much he cared for him. Alastair couldn't even remember a single instance he'd said the L-word to Harland and that fact formed an agonizing regret that tore away at his gut relentlessly.
His tail was whipping back and forth as his impatience grew, as his gaze snapped from face to face without meeting its goal. He clutched the white jacket in his grip so tightly that his claws might have torn holes in the cloth. Finally, Alastair spotted him. He charged towards Harland with a furious stomp as if he intended to violently knock him out.
With each step the relief of finally being reunited with Harland was overwhelming his urge to punish him for leaving in the first place. The assurance showed itself on his face with tears as he threw his arms around the man and buried his face in his neck. At first, he was speechless, but he held on with whatever strength he had left. There was no way he was letting them get separated again.
"You're an a*****e. You forgot your stupid jacket." He finally managed the shaken words despite the tears. "And your stupid boyfriend."

When she finally got Wilson's attention Mitsu smiled sheepishly. If only she had caught his knowing smile from earlier. If she had she probably would have been a lot more nervous at the moment. " I...just wanted to say thank you for always being there and for making the hard decisions. I know it couldn't have been easy. I am honored I got the chance to serve under you and you will always be my Commander." She smiled though her attention turned to Roch as he seemed very adamant about going back to space. " I dunno, I rather like it here." Mitsu said turning back to Shun, her smile touching her eyes. " It was worth it." Syusaki I have to run to bed so I threw in a sort of farewell post OAO <33

This would have been a sight that warmed his heart had Thackery truly understood what all of this meant. Even when the cards were spread before him, he ignored them in favor of the door just past them. It was a pleasant experience, seeing everyone interact as they were, but stirred little more than a normal day within the Violet Kingdom. He just watched, waiting for nothing in particular. At least he thought he'd been waiting for nothing in particular, until he felt the little arms around him, pulling him into the smallest and most emphatic of hugs. "Jove!" he cried, reaching to pluck him up just as he had during more dire times. Instead of running off with him this time, however, he spun him around once and hugged him close before gently setting him down again, hands resting on his shoulders. "I'm so happy it worked and you're here," he blurted, realizing too late that he probably shouldn't have admitted his lack of confidence in his decision to push him into Elysian. A crooked smile broke past his shame and he gave him another pat on the head. "You did well. Thanks for being so strong for all of us." Remi's confession merited a look of cheerful confusion, his head shaking slowly as it went completely past the realm of understanding. Very little of what he'd said made sense to a King who still fought the inevitable, his sights set on something he would never have been able to obtain in the first place. "Well, of course you're here! This is what I wanted! A kingdom where nobody left!" He laughed, amused with how silly Remi could be sometimes. "I don't know what you mean by all of that other stuff, though. Maybe you need a longer nap." His suggestion was sealed with a nod and a gentle brush of the backs of his fingertips against the kitsune's cheek. "We don't have to wait for anything now. We're at the beginning of the most perfect thing that could ever happen! So smile, won't you? I know you're really good at smiling!" Beyond him, he could just barely make out what he thought was one of his fellow Kings. Even if it wasn't him, he called, "Hiii, Aymet!" as per usual, waving for him to join them if he wished.
