Oh. It had an itch. The dragon's head was twisting side to side as it tried in vain to nibble at a loose scale on the back of its neck. Mai obligingly scritched at the offending scale. The dragon purred happily.

No, its hunger could not be contained. It chased after the vulnerable prey a bit longer, finally catching it and feasting upon it in the middle of the lane. Lacue tumbled off the animal, holding onto the lance under one arm while having the other hand on her hip. "Fine." She acceded, sitting on the side. She didn't pay attention to the other members in the adjacent lanes, knowing that her mount would not be easily dissuaded. It's sharp teeth made quick work of the meal, blood dripping down it's jaw.
At least they were similar in one aspect. "Are you done?"

And then it was so close. Mai braced herself as the dragon lunged at the target, almost as if it fully intended to jump upon the thing itself and tear it apart. But it held its course, sweeping to the side and letting Mai's lance crash solidly into the wooden beam sticking out of the ground.
Not bad! ... not as good as some of the other strikes she was witnessing around them, but not bad.
"Good job," she said proudly, giving the dragon another affectionate scratch behind the head.

The wolf turned around, sniffing something else. By now, Lacie had learned not to argue with her mount. Her mouth was anything but obedient, having its own mind that was often in direct opposition with the reaper.
"It would be alot easier if you simply listened." She told the mouth in a resigned tone. It's response war to shake itself off, disregarding the rider's words.

Arriving at their destination for today's class, the tatzelwurm ghoul watched Radha place each of the dummies in the lanes and gathered a lance as instructed. She patted her mount on the side of it's neck before giving it a click with both heels at its sides. Alright, let's go, Candy!Maybe a more abrupt click was needed. The dragon started off slow.
