The Golurk twisted his body to the side...literally. While the Pokemon's lower half remained stationary, the torso turned to face the oncoming Larvitar. Sweeping one massive hand forward, the Guardian moved to bat his weaker opponent off to the side. It wasn't strong enough to warrant any damage, simply a blow meant to deflect the Larvitar's attempt at an attack.

-2 TO IMPROMPTU'S SPEED!Ohnoohgodohnoohgod. Oh arceus, palkia, and dialga. Those teeth! Impromptu gave a soft, low whine, ears flattened now in fear as he tried not to male eye contact with the Aerodactyl. He did not want to run at that, not one bit!
Ah, but he had to...and the Growlithe began to hesitantly charge at the Aerodactyl with his mouth wide open. Nevermind the fact that it was tapper than his boss...all he needed to do was Bite that tail!

The Nidorino was seething inside, but his body couldn't do any more. He was battered by the winds, and he found himself douse so much by water that it was literally leaking from his ears. He hated her ...he hated her with his entire being as he wouldn't let his eyes wonder from her as she spoke.
But her worst stuck true.
He was weaker than both of them ...he couldn't make it to land, and as long as he couldn't get to land ...they had him. She had him, and if he stayed in that pokeball and she could keep him there ...he would continue to grow weaker. In the end, he would fail unless something change.
"Let me sweeten the deal further." "If you can every defeat ...these two ..my life I will give to you." "Literally, I will let you take it, but you have to become stronger."
She smiles broadly at him
"or else, I will send you to your mate."
The words were chilling ...as the Nidorino nods once. The deal was too sweet to pass up, and in that way ...the devil made her deal with another soul. And she gained one more underneath her wing whom never really understood exactly what they had signed up for.
Victoria recalls him and Torrent both as Animus joins the group at last.
She had afterall managed to break him ...as she would take that step back towards the crater. Aella would quickly hop to rejoin her on her shoulder ..the girl leaving behind a wet trail as she walks and shivers.

(8 - 3 + 9 - 13 = 1 + 5 = 6x2 = 12dmg)
Though the bird's beak would slam home ...it was shallow ...even as her own attack was forced to a stop. She would skid to a halt. So far, it has been unpentratable skin versus ....strong skin. So far, everything that has come at her has been retracted by the sure strength of her defense, but slowly and sure those defenses were crumbling ...as she Skorupi felt that beak. The pain of it, and shutters as she manages not to break underneath that pressure.
She hunkers closer to the ground in pain as she awaited the next attack.The glory of the final blow would be hers ....as she moved to counter attack. Her entire body pose for the action, but then blood would spurt free of her side ...it would gush upwards and then ...pool downwards underneath her belly.
She felt herself shake before she collapsed in a single heap upon the ground. Her tail curling behind her ......as her eyes dulled as she tried to understand what had happen.
It had been a peck right .....though that aura she saw as the world faded away from her told her differently ...the attack had been brave bird ...as she died right in front of the bird. Her life blood continued to gush out ...as slowly yet surely her body would split in two upon the line that she had been struck.
Blood that ran towards the water .....as it would actually pool at the base of the rock that she had been smashes through earlier. Something shiny and white stood out from the rock ....encased inside ....a bone the color of cream. A rare bone, especially to be found in a place such as this.

Through he was is slower now, and the Aerodactyl could easily see it coming as he simply shifts his tail a bit. It wasn't like the fangs of a pokemon a quarter of his size is frighten ...even less so when the pokemon just a few moments ago was cowering as he flicks one wing open and closed with annoyances to literally try and blow the bug away ...kind of like someone shooing a fly.
If this was the best fight they had in them ...then this battle would end quickly, and this much he was more than assured of as his eyes narrowed to points as he watches that charge.

The Larvitar had been aiming to Bite his opponent when the large pokemon tried to swipe him away. Since Ryuu was so focused, he hadn't been able to move fast enough to avoid and continue attacking and was tossed aside, much like the other pokemon was swatting an annoying fly. The dinosaur was irritated but he couldn't do much about it now. As long as his opponent didn't touch him, he would have another chance. Taking off running again, he tried to avoid whatever was going to be thrown at him next.

::The girl and Purrloin stepped ashore, where once Jasmine and Lindbergh had stepped ashore, Jasmine smiling and bowing once more to the Lapras, giving a little wave as they'd push forward, Claudandas waiting until they had past the waves to leap down, from rock to rock across the sands::
Well, here we go.
One more try. ::She couldn't help slightly grinning, back and away fro the adult word, things felt so much easier, looking to Claudandas as the pair would move on::
::But the cat's eyes were fixed on Jasmine, particularly her belt, the girl had removed her white art smock and tucked it away, now again he could see where Lindbergh awaited there:: [Shouldn't we be letting 'her' out now?]
::Jasmine blinked at the unintelligible mew, but followed the cat's eyes stare upon her pokéball clips... she frowned... she had wanted to put away the smock before it got dirty... although was that a test? If she came back and it wasn't dirty, Savvy would know she hadn't been wearing it?::
::In any case, it wasn't her black clothing the cat was looking at, that much she knew, looking to Lindbergh's pokeball, considering, holding it up:: ...Soon.
Right now, let's just get started... I'd really like to begin.
::She and the cat looked together, the edge of the sands... there was a shining light that seemed to glare across the sea with the rising sun, the girl pulled her hat down and tried to move forward, expecting to see the forest again, but the sight that would greet her-::

The girl and the Pokemon exchanged a glance. There was no reason to disturb this slumbering ancient bug. Vanni gathered the edges of her skirt in one hand, careful not to make the fabric rustle. Quietly, the pair attempted to sneak past the Anorith.

Though this time there steps wouldn't take them to the forest that they had traveled through before ....but instead into a mountainous area that can't be said to be more than confusing ...as above the opening in the air .....there was a giant clock. It's hands ticking forward, while it's second hand ran backwards .....as it rest squarely above the cavern mouth in the mountain itself. If one could guess, it looked to have been implanted there, but there was no signs that it was never ...anything but apart of the mountain.
This was the strangeness that is the Chrono Cavern.
If Jasmine expected the same route as before, she was about to learn something new.

((Well that's pretty poor luck))
Unfortunately that first step would bring Vanni's foot down upon a twig...oddly the only twig in the entire area...and she'd managed to step on it, producing the most obscure sounds.
The Anorith's eyes snapped open in an instant, and she lunged at Vanni reflexively. In a place with so many predators, it only made sense to fight or flee without giving a second thought to what your target actually was!

The Golurk didn't chase after the Larvitar...at least not quite so apparently. Rather, the specter phased into the floor, disappearing from visible sight. For a moment all was silent, save for that incessant ticking. Even that was not enough to warn his opponent however, as a fist thrust up from the floor; only to retreat a moment later.
One after another a fist would thrust through the ground, seemingly in random locations. The Golurk was attempting to Pound his opponent again, this time in a fashion he'd never see coming!

Jasmine had taken her first footstep and crested the hill, when she stopped, and stood very, very still. The glare was behind her, but now, she stood in the forefront of the cavern, a rocky crevasse with metal beams and glass sticking out at every angle imaginable.
It looked like she had entered one of the old ruins instead of the verdant forest she had remembered previously, looking around incredulously at the surroundings, before her eyes would as likely all others would, fall upon the clock there that hung ominously above them both, the echo of its ticks and tocks reverberating all around.
This was a far more intimidating place than before now, the girl could feel chills going through her body just looking at it...
[What happened here!?] Claudandas cried out, staring at the clock running in three directions, past, present, future. The Purrloin looked back and forth for any recognisable landmark, any sign of his former home! [We weren't gone even a day, how can this have all changed since he had left?!
He pawed frantically, digging at the ground, trying to find some sight of greenery, anything familiar! For he had never left the forest before, he never knew the true nature of the Island...
Jasmine looked to the cat working himself into a frenzy, then without further bidding or waiting, plucked him up, dodging a set of claws that swiped past her nose, hugging him close and waiting, watching as Claudandas would calm himself, looking to her, still frantic, but perhaps at least settled for the moment... "Claudandas. I don't think we're in Unova anymore."
It was the same island... she remembered the same landmarks on the way on the Lapras... this was strange, very strange... but then again... she had been in a petrified forest... filled with ancient pokémon that could possibly exist in this day and age, she thought of the way the island always changed... the areas, so vastly different from one another...
The bright light... moving back and forth. The girl took a deep breath, she wouldn't voice her thoughts aloud as she looked to Claudandas, setting him down and taking her wooden stick to lead onward, "Come on, Claudandas."
"I want a better look at that clock."

((Olay, gona be a but rushed here, let's try this...))

They were climbing upward, up a twisting wall of the rock, but although Jasmie. Had her legs back and her crutch as a way of finding her path without falling on any otherwise loose masonry, it was Claudandas who went first, still looking about.
What would they find here? In particular, what did Jasmine EXPECT to find. H getting closer to that clock hanging above them? He had no idea, he had no idea what a clock even WAS, but he knew enough of his instincts to feel uneasy about it, it was far too unnatural.
But then again, this whole place seemed unnatural to him, stepping carefully pat an open crag, leaving a meow of a warning. [Watch there...]
She would keep her ears for his every meow as some form of warning as she cautiously would... But up and up they'd move... What really did they'd. Left to find?

The path way as they explored wouldn't find her in total darkness as the flicker of lights overhead would come on. The dull illumination that would seemingly grow brighter as the strangeness of this cavern became much more clear ... the nose of a plan jutting out of the wall.
Part of the wall on her left side seemed to be frozen while another section is burning hot ....there are things from the past laying on the one side of the floor like the backbone of an prehistoric pokemon sticking from the floor one moment, and a low steel beam would have to be avoid around the next curve.
It was a place different times literally mashes together into this mix and match place.

Slowly drying as the sun shone over head, Victoria would soon find herself wandering into the confines of the crater once again; but there was something the girl had perhaps forgotten. What about the Weavile and their Pack? Couldn't they still be around?
They'd been after the Sneasel upon Raven's shoulders, but they had her scent as well. All they knew was that she was connected to the boy; so wasn't there a chance they'd come after her as well?
The click of a stone rolling across the ground...the image of a beast dwelling within the shadows...just how safe was the child here?
